Main duties and responsibilities
Maintaining and developing partnerships
- To work alongside the CEO to seek out and develop new partnerships with commercial and non-commercial partners including charitable grant giving organisations/funders.
- To play an active role in researching and developing applications to charitable grant giving organisations and other potential partner organisations.
- To reach out to the wider community, enhancing the reputation of UoGSU and strengthening key relationships.
- To maintain and develop key commercial and non-commercial partnerships with external organisations (such as those who attend on site activations.)
- To lead on the development of bespoke arrangements for commercial partners to deliver the best experience for our members.
- To work with others across UoGSU to ensure that all obligations from arrangements with partners are met. This may include the scheduling of communications, data collection, facilitating of on campus visits or other similar actions.
- To create impactful and data rich reports on the work we do to share with partners and funders.
- To monitor, evaluate and improve our range of partnership opportunities to deliver quality experiences for our members and best return on investment for partners.
Student sales and internal communication
- To lead on the sale of UoG merchandise at key events such as Welcome and Graduation.
- To support the running of a suitable online shop offer.
- To lead on stock management for UoG merchandise including ordering, stock control and sales reporting for key SU events.
- To act as the first responder to inbound enquires via the SU email inbox.

The Role
Koreo is looking for a Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager to drive growth across our programmes, particularly Charityworks and 2027. These programmes aim to create a more diverse social change sector by placing young people from across the UK in 12-month work placements with nonprofit organisations, also known as host organisations. Alongside their work placements, participants take part in a year-long, ILM-certified leadership and development programme designed to accelerate their impact and future potential.
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual who thrives in a hands-on sales and relationship management role. This person will be responsible for securing work placements for our candidates by engaging with both new and existing host organisations across the nonprofit and grant-making sectors. They must be skilled at maintaining relationships with long-standing partners while also driving new business to support the overall growth and success of our programmes. Each year we aim to secure 150 work placements for diverse young talent from across the UK.
Working closely with the Director of Programmes and Managing Director, and line managing the Programme Marketing and Communications Manager and Recruitment Coordinator, the Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager, will play a key role in executing Koreo’s programmatic growth strategy. Cynthia Spencer Hospice, based in Northampton, is seeking a CEO to develop and lead a new fundraising and commercial strategy at the start of an exciting period of change for the Hospice.
In conjunction with the NHS, the Hospice provides care for people with life limiting illnesses both at its hospice and in the community. This care is funded by the NHS with the charity raising extra funds to provide a range of supporting programmes.

Position Overview
The Royal Foundation of St Katharine is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its commercial and operational activities. Role Description

1. JOB PURPOSE

2. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
2.1 Administration and Correspondence
• Responsible for preparing all emails, letters and other communication ensuring consistency and appropriate level of standards in communication is maintained.
• To monitor all incoming emails and correspondence and proactively respond where appropriate or highlight to the CEO any correspondence of an urgent nature.
• Prepare presentation and briefings using PowerPoint.
• To monitor the CEO’s email inbox providing holding emails or responses as required and highlighting any urgent, personal or sensitive email.
•Liaise with the Company Secretary to help coordinate production of board packs for CEME Board meetings.
• Attend daily updates with the Chief Executive, plan and prioritise urgent activities.
• Responsible for maintaining all filing and confidential shredding.
2.3 Attendance at meetings/minute taking
• Attend monthly Senior Leadership Team SLT meetings and take a full record of the minutes and provide a draft
copy to the CEO within an agreed timeframe and on approval circulate the minutes.
• Follow-up actions and inform CEO of any issues that need to be addressed.
• To attend as required any business meetings or events as requested by the CEO.
• Supporting the SMT on specific projects on top of existing priorities, management of agendas, forward planner and chasing actions
2.4 Diary & Travel Management
• Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the CEO’s diary ensuring that all meetings are scheduled accurately, meetings are re- confirmed and the CEO updated of any changes ensuring effective time management.
• Organise travel and hotel arrangements for the Chief Executive utilising booking agents and resources as required.
• Providing detailed travel schedules, itineraries, directions and maps as required
2.5 Telephone Enquiries and Visitors
• To ensure that all telephone enquiries are answered promptly and appropriate action taken, updating the CEO on all urgent calls and prioritising messages accurately.
• To be proactive in identifying where calls need to be transferred to other executives or parts of the business ensuring prompt customer service.
• Professionally meet and greet all external visitors offering appropriate refreshments and providing any support to the visitor as required.
• Manage internal visitors proactively updating the CEO on any meeting changes or delays and ensuring all parties are fully equipped with any meeting documentation as required.
2.6 Daily management of the CEO’s Office
• To ensure that the CEO’s office is well maintained, refreshed twice daily in respect of removal of crockery following meetings and replenishing of water jugs and glasses.
• Ensure the office is tidy the office prior to any internal or external meetings.
• Purchase and maintain the office tea/coffee/refreshment stocks and liaise with the on-site catering company to arrange any additional meeting refreshments as required.
2.7 Event Co-Ordination
• Providing management and supervisory support to other staff for major events and co-ordinating delivery and execution.
• To co-ordinate any events or functions delivered by the CEO’s office utilising and liaising with internal and external suppliers as needed.
• To book or arrange any external events or function as required for the CEO including seminars, training sessions or networking groups.
• To book any internal meeting rooms required and arrange in conjunction with C&E any refreshments of AV equipment
2.8 Finance
• To raise any Purchase Orders or New Supplier Forms as required.
• To complete expenses claims for the CEO keeping a track of receipts
• Ensure that urgent documents and contracts that require signatures are dealt with in a timely fashion.
• Arrange for processing of invoices and payments in conjunction with Finance.
• To prepare and submit the CEO’s expenses.
2.9 Other
• To support the non-Executive Chairman as required in relation to correspondence, communication, events and company procedures.
• Work with and support the Executive team in respect of administration, planning meetings and tracking deadlines.
• To undertake ad-hoc projects that may include, but are not limited to, marketing, web management and HR.

Join our retail team as an Assistant Shop Manager at our Dorking shop and support the Shop Manager to maximise shop profit by achieving budgeted income, controlling shop expenditure in line with the shop's budget, and by recruiting and retaining a motivated team of volunteers. Income generation
- To support the Shop Manager to manage the Retail budget to achieve agreed targets:

Administration and compliance
- To ensure adherence to The Children’s Trust policies and procedures, in particular ensuring full compliance of the shops in line with all Health & Safety legislation, Trading Standards, Risk Assessments, Gift Aid, Lottery and all other legal or statutory requirements:

Personnel and Training

Key responsibilities
Understanding needs and the changing external environment
- Develop understanding of the preferences and needs of statisticians and data professionals, and others interested in data and statistics, at an individual and organisational level, to evolve our products and services and align our commercial activities to those preferences and needs

Working for the RSS
Pension and benefits
Our defined contribution pension scheme can be joined after three months in post. Your contributions of up to 8% of salary will be double matched by the Society (making a maximum contribution by the Society of 16%). A training budget, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme and employee assistance programme are also available.
Location
The RSS office is in central London. We offer flexible working arrangements, and this is a hybrid role with on average two days a week working in the office. In person attendance for certain meetings is required (including all staff/team meetings and governance/committee meetings that take place in person). Limited travel within the UK and internationally may be required.
Working hours
35 per week full-time. Applications for job shares, part-time and flexible working will also be considered.

The role
We are looking for a Network & Supporter Services Assistant to join us for 12 months to support the National Art Pass Network and Supporter Services teams.

Principal Recruitment Consultant – Fundraising Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Principle Recruitment Consultant to join our expanding team in a role focused on new business development within Fundraising. You’ll have the autonomy to grow your own client base and shape a rewarding career in a supportive and flexible environment.
Position: Principal Recruitment Consultant – Fundraising Specialist
Location: Remote, with occasional travel to Buckinghamshire
Salary: Circa £35,000 - £45,000 basic, plus uncapped bonus/commission
Hours: Full-time 35 hours per week, 9 – 4:30pm Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent

About the Role
As a Principal Recruitment Consultant, you will take the lead in developing and growing our fundraising recruitment function. This is a 360 recruitment role with a strong focus on business development, relationship building, and delivering excellent service to both clients and candidates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Business Development: Proactively identifying and engaging with new clients within the charity sector to build long-lasting partnerships.
- Desk Building: Establishing and growing a specialist fundraising recruitment desk, becoming the go-to expert for fundraising talent.
- Candidate Sourcing: Using innovative sourcing techniques to attract high-calibre fundraising professionals.
- Client Management: Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and candidates alike.
- Market Insight: Staying ahead of industry trends to provide informed advice to clients and candidates.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated Recruitment Consultant who has a proven track record in business development and is excited by the opportunity to build a client base. Your experience in the recruitment sector, within the Not-for-Profit or charity field, will enable you to quickly develop strong relationships and provide clients with top-tier service.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in recruitment within the Charity and Not-For-Profit sector, with a strong focus on new business development and client acquisition.
- Ability to independently build and manage a sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A consultative approach to understanding client needs and matching them with tailored recruitment solutions.
- Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset, eager to achieve and exceed targets.
