Sitting within the Chief Executive’s Office, the Stakeholder Engagement Officer will support in managing engagement with Alzheimer’s Research UK’s senior ambassadors and other key internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the Strategic Engagement Manager, this role will offer relationship management and administrative support, to ensure the engagement activity of Alzheimer’s Research UK senior ambassadors is aligned with the charity’s overall mission, and to maximise support and impact from the charity’s senior stakeholders.
This role is also available for those looking for part time working with a minimum of 28 hours.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Stakeholder Engagement / Relationship Management
· Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring Alzheimer’s Research UK’s senior ambassadors are effectively updated on news and events relating to the charity and dementia research more broadly.
· Be responsible for stewarding Alzheimer’s Research UK’s senior ambassadors, to ensure they feel well connected to the charity, and are enabled to carry out an impactful programme of engagement.
· Work with teams across the organisation to oversee updates to key messaging and briefing materials for senior stakeholders.
· Act as a conduit / liaison point between Alzheimer’s Research UK and some of its external stakeholders.
· Support the Strategic Engagement Manager and Director of Strategy & Governance on other strategic projects and programmes of work as and when required.
· Work with Strategic Engagement Manager, Head of Governance and Governance Manager on any matters arising relating to Conflicts of Interest.
Communications and Administrative Support
· Draft external stakeholder communications from the Chief Executive, senior team and / or senior ambassadors as required.
· With support from the Strategic Engagement Manager, lead on internal communications relevant to Alzheimer’s Research UK’s senior ambassador programme.
· Proof stakeholder briefings and other resources to ensure content is of a high and appropriate standard, both in terms of accuracy and tone.
· Oversee internal filing and resources relevant to Alzheimer’s Research UK senior ambassadors, including Terms of Reference documents for the charity’s senior honorary positions.
· Ensure risks relating to engagement with senior stakeholders are suitably logged and updated.

Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.
Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals. This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
Administrative Support
- Undertake administrative duties as directed by the Supplementary Schools Partnerships Manager and the Community Development Manager.
- Maintain information on records and databases as required

- Assist with administrative tasks for project planning

Knowledge and Experience:
- At least one years’ administrative experience working in a busy office

About The Felix Project
The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Started in 2016, its vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. In 2024 our workforce of over 200 staff and 13,000 volunteers collected and distributed the equivalent of 38 million meals to Londoners in need. This is done through a network of 1,200 community organisations and schools who are working on the frontline to feed people who are experiencing hunger and cannot afford to regularly buy the food they need. The Felix Project works with hundreds of suppliers from across the food industry, including supermarkets, wholesalers, farms and restaurants to rescue high quality surplus food, that cannot be sold and would otherwise go to waste.
In London, one in for working families regularly struggle to afford to feed their children, equating to an estimated 325,000 families across the capital. The cost of food has increased by 30% in the past three years and one in eight working families have less than £3 a day for food, after paying their bills. About 20% of working families have been forced to access a food support service for the first time during 2024 due to the rising cost of living.
Our work has never been more needed, and demand continues to grow: we are building our expertise and impact in response. The Felix Project now operates from four main depots in North, South, East, and West London, with ‘point-to-point’ projects in Central London and Canary Wharf. Felix’s Kitchen in our East London depot produces up to 5,000 meals per day from surplus food. Felix’s Multibank in West London distributes non-food items to those who need it most. As part of the charity’s involvement with The Coronation Food Project, we are launching an innovative food processing lab – The Felix Food Factory.
Purpose of the Job
The Felix Project is looking for a talented individual to help manage and support on implementing their corporate partnerships strategy. This role will sit within our growing Corporate Partnerships Team as part of the wider Fundraising & Marketing Team. The purpose of this role will be to lead on the development of new business in conjunction with the Corporate Partnership Managers, while also building upon our existing pipeline of future opportunities. Graphic Design
- Designing and producing collateral including digital and printed event invitations, leaflets, one-pagers and reports, and finessing presentation materials for senior colleagues, such as pitch decks, ensuring they are on brand and fit for purpose.

Person Specification

Press
- Support the Head of Media & Communications to implement the media engagement plan, including drafting press releases, building our media list and writing briefings for colleagues for media opportunities. Scope out new channels including podcasts that align with our organisational goals.
- Report on press engagement and make suggestions for increasing brand awareness through traditional and non-traditional media.

Sitting within the Chief Executive’s Office, this new position of CEO Office Executive will play a key role in delivering high quality, proactive administrative support to our Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees. They will be carrying out key administrative duties within the team, predominantly in executive support but also more widely across governance, strategy and internal communications.
Reporting to the Head of Governance, they will be a key member of the Governance and Executive Support team, enabling members of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Senior Team to carry out their roles efficiently and to support delivery of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s strategy.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Administrative support
To provide proactive and high-quality administrative support to enable our Senior Team to carry out their roles effectively, to include:
· Assist the Executive Support team in providing administrative support to the Chief Executive and other Executive Directors as required.
· Arrange and attend meetings across Alzheimer’s Research UK, which may include taking and issuing minutes, drafting agendas, collating and distributing papers as appropriate, locating suitable meeting venues, room reservations and refreshments.
· Filter general information, queries, telephone calls, emails, and invitations received for the senior leadership team by redirecting to an appropriate point of contact.
· Ensure travel arrangements, including international travel, are managed effectively and within budget, including booking travel and accommodation, producing a detailed travel itinerary, arranging currency and visa requirements.
· Complete expense claims, ensuring receipts are obtained and expenses are claimed in accordance with the relevant policy.
Governance, internal communications and strategy
· Work with the Governance team to support delivery of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s governance arrangements including preparation for meetings, management of meeting logistics including locating suitable meeting venues, room reservations and refreshments and general support as required.
· Help maintain a calendar of activity within the CEO Office to support the prioritisation and preparation ahead of engagement opportunities for Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Senior Team.
· Conduct research and information gathering to support project planning and decision making.
· Learn how to use / and be proactive in using the organisation's CRM system (Salesforce) to record key activity for the CEO Office Team.
· Support the internal comms team in their aim to make all employees feel connected to the organisation and their colleagues. This could include supporting the preparation and delivery of employee events, assisting with the collation of information for regular, all-employee comms, such as the monthly all-employee meetings and the monthly CEO newsletter, and helping to promote the CEO Office via Internal Comms.
· Work with the Director of Strategy and Governance to provide support on key priority projects relating to strategy delivery.
· Help arrange and service CEO Office team activities throughout the year.

An exciting role where you’ll be supporting a range of third-party Challenge Events and participants’ fundraising efforts. The fundraising team is at the core of the charity and works together to maximise opportunities and raise funds from a range of sources.
The Challenge Events programme has continued to strengthen in recent years, with huge demand
seen across third-party running events such as the London Marathon and Great North Run, plus a growing number of runners in international marathons, including Berlin, Chicago and Sydney. The Challenge team’s role is to fill our allocated places in third-party events efficiently; nurture and support our participants to fundraise as much as possible; and ensure they enjoy the whole event experience from place allocation, through to their training and fundraising, to crossing the finish line!
Reporting to the Challenge Events Manager, the postholder will provide high quality day-to-day operational and administrational support across the Challenge Event Programme as well as supporting in-person Challenge Events, such as the London Marathon (April) and Great North Run (September).
For you to support these events, you will be required to attend the office in Cheltenham around 1-2 days per week, and more often during busy periods. About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Advocate to join our team covering Bedfordshire. Your role will require you to travel to locations such as clients’ homes, hospitals, care homes and within community settings across the area to meet with clients and professionals. You will be home based for administration; therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential.
About you
Desirably you will have some experience of working in advocacy, or providing welfare, supporting, or caring for Adults or young people who have support needs, ideally for those with a variety of communication needs, mental ill health, physical health issues, or barriers to accessing education and support.
You should have worked or volunteered in health, social care, welfare, support services, education or young person’s services, or advice and guidance.

You will be responsible for ensuring the individual’s wishes, feelings, beliefs, needs, and values are met to create positive outcomes for the people you support.
You will support people to speak up for themselves and grow in confidence, equip them to understand and exercise their rights and options, and will assist them in the decision-making process relating to their care, treatment, and support.
You will work resourcefully and collaboratively with the individuals you support. You’ll be creative in your approach to empower our clients by ensuring you meaningfully explain people’s options and rights to them. You’ll support individuals to fully participate in decisions affecting them and will make sure they have their voices heard.

Location: Central London/Hybrid (minimum six days per month in the office)
Salary: £32,000–35,000 per annum

In this role, you will bring grant-making expertise and innovative ideas to enhance our programme., You will develop strong relationships with LGBTQI organisations and activists worldwide, gain deep insights into global movements, and ensure funding is distributed effectively to those making real change.

About You
You will have experience in grant-making, with a strong understanding of grant-making theory, processes, and best practices. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to or connection with the LGBTQI community
and have knowledge of global developments in LGBTQI rights and advocacy.
You will also have:
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships.
• Knowledge of global developments in LGBTQI rights and advocacy.
