This is a varied, hands-on role that supports Pecan’s marketing, communications and supporter engagement. You’ll help plan and deliver events ranging from corporate ‘thank you’ evenings to public challenge events, support social media content and website updates and keep our supporter materials and photo archive in shape.

Main Responsibilities:

• Events: Plan and deliver our corporate Thank You event in Autumn 2025 and support a calendar of Challenge events including small internal and community events run by different teams. 
• Marketing & Communications: Create and schedule social media posts to promote events and highlght supporter engagement. Ensure communications and marketing are regularly updated. 
• Corporate Engagement: Help coordinate and host corporate site visits, and maintain data records of coporate contacts and activity on our database. 

Key Requirements (specific skills, qualifications required):

• Strong experience of organising or supporting in-person events (e.g. fundraising, corporate or community)
• Confident using digital tools including Microsoft Office, and able to update websites (e.g. WordPress, and using tools like Eventbrite, Mailchimp or Canva)
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills - able to build rapport with a wide range of people
• Team player with a flexible and collaborative approach

Desirable knowledge/expertise

• Working or volunteering in a charity or community organisation
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Beacon, Salesforce, or contact databases)
• Basic photo archiving or content managment experience 
• Knowledge of Peckham and the London Borough of Southwark

We don’t expect a Digital Campaigns Assistant to know everything about digital campaigning in a political space. But you’ll come with at least 1-2 years experience in digital roles or where you've used digital as a core discipline.

• Craft punchy emails, petitions, event forms and action pages that move people to action

• Brainstorm beautiful posters, social media graphics and videos that cut through the noise

Essential criteria

• 4+ years’ experience working in digital marketing, with proven experience of developing strategies and campaigns that deliver results against goals

• Experience of using digital platforms to build and send mass emails, and comfortable managing email lists 
• Experience of managing ads in Meta, and proven ability to interpret the data to optimise against goals

Salary and benefits package

Starting salary: £37,620 (outside of London, with a £3k annual travel bursary)/£42,135 (inside London) 

Holiday: 25 days/year (pro rata to 20 days per year due to the 4 day week), plus bank holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year.

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Family Support Coordinator to be part of Hillingdon Council’s Violence Reduction Unit initiatives, focusing on preventing anti-social behaviour and gang involvement among young people. 

As a Family Support Coordinator, you will work closely with families, schools and local agencies in Hayes to provide essential support, programmes and resources that empower young people and helps to create a safe and nurturing environment that fosters resilience, positive choices and promotes family wellbeing.

A key part of your responsibilities will involve establishing a peer support programme - you will recruit, train and support volunteers from the local community, enabling them to offer critical support to families and young people at risk. Together you’ll build a community network that actively engages in preventing antisocial behaviour and promotes constructive alternatives for young people in Hayes, to create a community that thrives on safety, support and opportunity.

You will need to be educated to NVQ Level 3 or above in social work, health, education, or equivalent.

Role Summary

This role will support the expanding team with all engagement activities to ensure that good relationships are maintained with all Alcohol Change UK (ACUK) supporters, beneficiaries and volunteers. The Engagement Officer will undertake administration related to volunteer recruitment and recording of volunteer activities as well as being the first point of contact for the team ensuring ACUK delivers high levels of support to our volunteers. The role will also be responsible for creating content and delivering elements of our engagement communication programme.

The u3a movement is one of the largest member organisations in the UK with over 400,000 active members. The Third Age Trust is the national charity which supports the 1,000+ u3as.   We provide advice, guidance and training to u3as and their committees, to help them have the greatest impact locally.  We advocate for a positive approach to later life and promote the benefits that come from membership of the u3a movement.

We have an opportunity to join our London based staff team as our Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of U3A’s office operations. This role will be responsible for the day to day running of the office and be the lead for HR, Data Protection, Health and Safety as well as managing external IT suppliers.

The postholder will report to the CEO and work closely with senior leadership to ensure the u3a is a professional and well-run organisation. The role will also work closely with the PA to CEO who will be involved in areas such as HR, training and recruitment.
