About the role
In this role you will join the Centre of Clinical Expertise team at Macmillan. You will act as a subject matter expert within systemic anti-cancer treatment (SACT) delivery drawing on clinical skills and experience to support, service and guide internal programmes (e.g. Drug information for people with lived experience and healthcare professionals) and external programmes of work (e.g. ACCEND - Aspirant Cancer Career and Education Development) as required. You will achieve it through providing clinical leadership, insight, knowledge and expertise on cancer care across settings, along with an understanding of the health and social care landscape from a national perspective to Macmillan.
As the Nursing Clinical Adviser you will feed clinical insight to key internal stakeholders across directorates, to inform and advise on relevant strategic priorities and work plans across the organisation. Your contribution will directly help to enable the vision at the heart of our new strategy which is to get every person the best support today and spark a revolution in cancer care for the future.
About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- You must have a qualification and continued registration as a nurse;
- Extensive experience in SACT in active clinical practice; and you will need to remain embedded in clinical practice.
- Experience in writing succinct briefing papers and proposals
- Experience in being able to influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to fulfill the required sessional commitment of the role.

Following expert consultation, we are now seeking an experienced, solution-focussed Head of Finance and IT to join our Senior Management Team. This role oversees the financial operations and drives the development of our integrated IT strategy, ensuring first-class financial and IT service across the organisation.
In this role you will ensure timely and accurate management and financial reporting across the organisation, fostering a culture of financial accountability and ensuring that all stakeholders have a sense of co-ownership of this; working closely with the senior management team you will support grant applications to ensure that the terms and conditions of these grants are understood and complied with. You will also manage our cloud-based IT services to support the delivery of our strategic plan, ensuring best value IT across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CIPFA) with a solid understanding of IT systems management. They will have proven experience in both financial and IT leadership roles, working closely with senior managers and collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders at senior levels. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to present complex financial data to diverse audiences to ensure the organisation's financial sustainability. Experience in the charity sector and in developing financial strategy is essential for this role.

About the role…
We are seeking an expert and experienced Membership Manager to join our ambitious membership team during an exciting period of significant transformation across a £25m professional body and trade union. As part of our digital transformation strategy we are moving to a new subscriptions system. The Membership Manager role will provide high quality leadership and management to the team to support and enable them to continue to run critical operational activities, while also testing, adopting and embedding a new system.
The substantive Membership Manager is the subject matter expert for the membership administration function in the new subscriptions system and will be increasingly focussed on the successful implementation of the system and looking ahead to the future scope and needs of the team and the society. Responsibilities
• With support, establish the Kidney Care UK Patient Support & Advocacy Service in the region so patients, their families, carers and professionals to access independent support on social, financial, health advocacy and wellbeing
• Be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Patient Support & Advocacy Service across the region and the effective management of a caseload. This involves regular attendance at renal clinics in the region, building relationships with health and care professionals and being available for patients in the renal unit, on the phone or online, or to meet at a mutually convenient public location
• To support patients to build the skills and confidence needed to positively navigate the challenges presented by health, social care, benefits, and financial support pathways, and to overcome barriers and promote independence
• To support patients to connect with services to ensure that they are engaged in shared decision making and that their voice is central to shaping the care and support they receive
• To raise awareness of Kidney Care UK and the benefits of the Patient Support & Advocacy Service amongst kidney patients, their families, carers, and professionals across the region

About the organisation
The organisation is a small, thriving national charity supporting people in rural areas to set up and run successful businesses in community ownership. They do this to achieve their UK-wide vision for resilient, thriving and inclusive rural communities. The charity is based in Oxfordshire with around 25 staff and a turnover of around £1.2 million annually.
Community-owned businesses are owned and controlled by community members and range from village shops, pubs and cafes, through to woodlands, fisheries and farms. The charity has been promoting the community ownership model for over 100 years because of its track record for delivering better businesses for people, communities, the economy, and the environment.
The charity is in a sound financial position with strong reserves. The focus moving forward is to diversify income streams away from the traditional model of grants, trusts and foundations to increased self-generated income from projects, corporate sponsorship and placemaking initiatives with housing organisations.
The new Head of Finance will be joining the organisation at an exciting time as they progress on this journey.
About the role
Reporting to the COO and managing 1 Finance Officer, The Head of Finance is the lead staff member for all matters relating to the Finance Team and is responsible for all areas of its strategic management and day-to-day operations. The Head of Finance makes up part of the Senior Leadership Team.
Typical finance duties include the development and implementation of finance strategies and policies, the production of financial reports and management accounts, leading on the budgeting & forecasting process, leading on the production of the annual statutory accounts, and supporting the Finance Officer with all elements of transactional finance such as reconciliations & VAT.
The Head of Finance will also take an active role on the Senior Leadership Team including contributing to business plans, networking with partner organisations and contributing to the continued strategy to diversify the charity’s income.
The charity uses Xero accounting software and has a December financial year-end. There is a current interim Head of Finance in post, and a handover with this person is likely.
The role would suit an experienced charity sector Head of Finance, seeking to work on a part-time basis. The role will ideally be offered on a 3 day per week basis, with at least one day per week required in the office in Oxfordshire.
The salary offered is £60,000 - £66,000 per annum FTE (pro-rata) and benefits include flexible working, an employee benefits programme, training opportunities, 6% employer pension contribution and a generous holiday entitlement of 27 days plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part-time staff).
Requirements
• Qualified or near qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CIPFA or equivalent
• A strong understanding of UK charity accounting including fund accounting and SORP
• Prior experience managing the finances of a small to medium sized charity, and management of a finance team
• A proactive attitude and the ability to ‘muck in’ with a broad range of duties sometimes outside the scope of the role
• Excellent analytical skills, ability to identify financial trends and create a supportive narrative
• Experience with Xero and Salesforce would be advantageous

Aid Box Community (ABC) is a Bristol charity that provides hope, love and a sense of belonging to people seeking asylum in Bristol. The charity was started 8 years ago on the Refugee camps in France by a local mum and has grown and evolved to support over 5000 people a year through our Free Shop and Welcome Hub, Activity Groups and Trips and Connections Befriending program. We are seeking a GBV Charter Officer to lead the implementation of our Charter pilot across five universities in England, adapting our successful GBV Charter framework to this educational setting. One element of the pilot will involve adapting the existing framework to meet the new E6 Condition of Registration on addressing sexual violence in higher education.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of sexual violence in university settings. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure institutions enhance their policies, procedures, and practices in line with the minimum standards of the GBV Charter.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Develop and manage a detailed project plan, setting objectives, timelines, and key milestones.
- Institutional Support: Work closely with pilot universities, providing guidance on GBV prevention, intervention, and support.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, trusting relationships with university staff, student groups, and external partners.
- Training & Resources: Assist in developing resources that support institutions in meeting the Charter’s minimum standards.

The Team
IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by the organisation in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
A core element of the programme is the expert assistance provided by a team of IPS professionals, known as IPS Grow Leads, to support providers to improve their fidelity to the IPS model and achieve better employment outcomes for their clients.

About the Role
You will work with IPS Grow colleagues to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to become an effective IPS professional, supporting the national expansion of evidence-based employment provision within health systems.
