This is an exciting opportunity to join our new service supporting Unpaid Carers across Lewisham to improve their health and wellbeing, and access support that meets their needs.
The team works with unpaid Adult Carers, Young Adult Carers and Young Carers, completing statutory and holistic assessments to understand people’s individual circumstances and level of need. You will carry out home visits and community meetings, co-produce support plans, and develop effective relationships with Unpaid Carers, families, and professionals.
You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Unpaid Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. You will also support the development of escalation plans so that Unpaid Carers are prepared for unforeseen circumstances that would impact negatively on ability to care.
Applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Unpaid Carers and/or vulnerable adults or children in a social care, health, education or voluntary and community sector. You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Unpaid Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services. Experience of working in mental health or dementia services would be an advantage.
You should be an excellent communicator and able to motivate and empower others. This is a full-time role.

About Cosmic Charity
Cosmic supports the work of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, and Queen Charlotte’s Hospital, Hammersmith. We fund vital equipment, staff training, research, and support services for patients and their families.
We are seeking an Events and Volunteering Manager to join our small, friendly charity at a pivotal time in our journey. Cosmic is rapidly growing both our service delivery and our team, making this an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of a very special and much-loved charity. This role will oversee and manage the end-to-end planning and high-quality delivery of all income-generation and engagement events for Cosmic, with the goal of maximising income, enhancing supporter engagement, and raising the charity’s profile.
Cosmic already has a portfolio of events ranging from our Cosmic Walk, Dragon Boat and Duck Race, Cosmic Ball, and various annual events hosted by our corporate partners. These events form the backbone of our engagement efforts and provide critical opportunities to connect with supporters, raise funds, and promote our mission. This role will manage the existing events while also developing new opportunities, ensuring a dynamic and diverse event portfolio. Additionally, it will provide Cosmic with the opportunity to develop a collaborative Events Strategy in line with the wider organisational growth strategy, aligning our events with and supporting our overarching objectives.
The Events and Volunteering Manager will also be responsible for facilitating and formalising all Cosmic volunteering opportunities, including our corporate engagement programme, ensuring they align strategically with the charity’s service delivery goals while delivering mutually beneficial outcomes for both the organisation and the corporate partner.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning and Delivery
- Develop the Cosmic Events Strategy by effectively initiating and delivering a calendar of events suitable for our audiences, that will drive audience reach and income, focusing on delivering a good return on investment and achieving set objectives.
- Take overall responsibility for planning, organising, and executing a wide range of events, from initial concept to post-event evaluation.
- Lead on all aspects of project management for events, including:
- Developing and managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinating event invites, monitoring RSVPs, managing guest correspondence, and ensuring strong attendance.
- Sourcing prizes, managing material production, and liaising with external suppliers.
- Producing risk assessments and contingency plans to ensure the smooth running of events.
- Promote events effectively to ensure strong attendance and engagement, using a variety of communication channels to reach the correct audiences.
- Oversee on-the-day event delivery, including running briefings, managing running orders, volunteer coordination, and logistics setup.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers and committees, to ensure the success of events.
Event Development and Innovation
- Strategically plan all events a year in advance via a comprehensive calendar to allocate resources effectively and align with the Cosmic 3-year plan.
- Design a varied programme of engaging, high-quality events to attract new supporters and steward existing ones.
- Identify opportunities for new event concepts to grow income streams and increase awareness of the charity’s work.
- Monitor and analyse event performance and ROI to provide insights for improvement.
Supporter Stewardship
- Develop and implement tailored stewardship plans for event donors, ensuring longterm engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with the wider team to provide excellent donor care and build strong relationships with key supporters.
Corporate Partnerships
- Under the leadership of the Senior Philanthropy Manager, steward relationships with relevant corporate partners, developing strong links and identifying opportunities for collaboration via Cosmic events, corporate partnerships/fundraising and volunteering opportunities.
- Coordinate all corporate volunteering activities in collaboration with NHS and Cosmic service delivery colleagues.
- Develop high-quality materials for proposals and presentations to engage potential corporate supporters in events and volunteering.
- Act as the key point of contact to liaise with corporate partners who host and plan events on behalf of Cosmic, ensuring that all income generation, awareness and partnership opportunities are maximised at these events.
Volunteer Management
- Develop and oversee a structured volunteer management programme, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and objectives for volunteers across Cosmic’s activities.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and manage volunteers to support:
- Office-based activities: administrative tasks, office organisation, and day-today support. 3
- Cosmic events: providing event-day support, including setup and stewarding.
- Wider projects: community engagement, fundraising initiatives, and special projects.
- Provide ongoing support, training, and recognition to ensure volunteers feel valued, engaged, and aligned with Cosmic’s mission.
- Maintain accurate volunteer records and ensure compliance with relevant policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the charity to integrate volunteers into organisational service delivery plans effectively.
Administration and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of event attendees, income, and expenditure in the charity’s CRM Donorfy.
- Provide regular updates on event progress and performance to senior leadership and trustees.
General Duties
- Build strong relationships across the charity, NHS units, and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Keep abreast of trends and innovations in the events and fundraising sectors to ensure best practices.
- Undertake other duties as required to support the charity’s objectives.

Job Purpose
This is an exciting time to join our small and impactful team, as we embark on a new four-year strategy, with goals to broaden and deepen our reach and impact, diversify our funding and delivery partnerships, and boost our programmes to support year 6 to 7 transition and tutor career development opportunities.
A major strategic priority is to grow geographically in Liverpool - which this role will play a pivotal role in achieving. Following the successful launch in January of our first ever face-to-face programme outside of London, in the Speke area of Liverpool, we hope to continue reaching more areas in Liverpool where there is great need and fostering new partnerships. We expanded beyond London during the pandemic with online tuition and have since grown across the Midlands and the North. This is our second dedicated role outside London, and the first in Liverpool. Working closely with our Manchester-based Head of Regions, you will help deliver contracts, build strong local relationships, and expand our reach in high-need areas.
The Programme Officer will be responsible for the management and overall delivery of their designated programmes. Over the next four years, we aim to scale our tutoring hubs to reach over 1,000 pupils per year in core cities and areas across England. This role will involve managing relationships with tutors, parents and clients, while collecting robust qualitative and quantitative data to measure the impact and build the success of our work. This is a critical role, leading on the delivery and evaluation of multiple programmes, managing key stakeholder relationships, and contributing to the development of our tutoring programmes in our newer delivery regions.
The Programme Officer will ensure high levels of quality assurance, particularly among tutors working in their hubs, so we achieve our intended outcomes. This is a multifaceted role, working across all parts of the organisation to ensure we deliver the best possible results for our pupils. You will have the chance to be creative in shaping and adapting our programmes to meet the specific needs of families in Liverpool City Region.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about education, has strong stakeholder management skills and is familiar with the Liverpool area in particular but broader knowledge of North-West region is also beneficial. You should be able to adapt your communication style to effectively engage with clients, parents, tutors, pupils and funders alike, and have strong written and verbal presentation skills. About the role
Music Services is the delivery arm of Nordoff & Robbins and encompasses the provision of music therapy and related activities including education, training and research. The Music Services Administrator will work closely with the Regional Manager and alongside other Music Services Administrators to ensure that the admin function is well run, organised, efficient and effective, and that clients, visitors and callers have a positive experience when they spend time with us. Many of our clients lead challenging lives and include vulnerable children and adults. This role is therefore subject to a basic DBS check.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Finance Officer to join our mental health charity, to support and deliver effective, efficient financial processes and compliance with financial regulations and data protection to ensure the smooth and effective running of the organisation.

This charity is at the forefront of bringing the world back to life; with nature in freefall, they are urgently tackling the underlying causes that are driving the decline, and finding solutions so future generations have a world with thriving habitats and wildlife. Working through their unparallelled global network, the organisation is committed to stopping deforestation by 2027. The Philanthropy Campaigns Manager will support a new approach, working across high income streams to develop a shared case for support. You will design and manage an 18-month engagement plan to maximise high-level engagement opportunities and deliver excellent stewardship to unlock multi-million investment from global funders
Contract: Full time 18 month contract
Salary: £43,851 per annum

This role will support a new approach to working across high value income streams to develop a shared case for support which will include setting up engagement plans and activities, coordinating internally with colleagues from across the global network including programme teams. Key responsibilities

* To map and engage a network of influential support across philanthropic, policy and corporate audiences to support the organisation's ambitions at COP 30
* To develop strategies to identify and cultivate new funders, creating a suite of engagement assets to articulate and inspire a high value audience; from events to infographics
* To collaborate globally with key offices, as well as science and policy experts to drive a coordinated approach that ensures that halting deforestation secures global commitment at COP 30
* To work collaboratively and with multiple stakeholders to strengthen the philanthropic culture across the organisation
This role will suit someone who is has a background EITHER in a significantly high value gift fundraising role or of managing a high value fundraising campaign.
Alongside that, we'd love to hear from individuals with the following expertise and experience:
* A solid understanding of what makes a compelling and comprehensive vision at the scale required to inspire and build effective relationships with philanthropic, corporate and government funders giving £250,000 and upwards
* Experience of developing complex, multi-national, multi-stakeholder cases for support and of turning complexity into compelling clarity
* Demonstrated ability to galvanise, lead, and motivate internal and external stakeholders through matrix-working and with multiple reporting lines
* Experience of working with senior volunteers and people of influence
* Experience of designing cultivation activities including events and collateral that meet the needs and interest of a high value audience
* Experience of strategy development and project management required to deliver it
* Experience of working collaboratively as part of an integrated team and strategy

Through this work we have seen how challenging parents and carers can find supporting their children’s emotional wellbeing difficulties. Supported by funding from the Surrey Wellbeing Partnership Innovation Fund, we are delighted to be recruiting to this new role of Family Wellbeing Practitioner, which expands our current Community Wellbeing Team offer. This is a collaboration with YMCA East Surrey working in partnership to ensure consistency of support to parents and carers across Surrey. Responsibilities
- To work collaboratively and effectively with statutory and voluntary agencies, to identify parents/carers in need of support and to agree effective referral processes.

The Role
As the Major Donor and Individual Giving Fundraiser you will work as part of the Fundraising Team to achieve annual fundraising targets, assisting the development of income year on year in line with the strategic plan for the Charity. Duties will include:

The Person

The Team
IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by the organisation in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
A core element of the programme is the expert assistance provided by a team of IPS professionals, known as IPS Grow Leads, to support providers to improve their fidelity to the IPS model and achieve better employment outcomes for their clients.
The key requirements of the role are:

About the Role
The role will have a focus on working with regional and national stakeholders to support the national expansion of evidence-based employment provision within health systems. About the role
St Albans has been home to a market since the ninth century and is the oldest market in England on its original site. It is the market team’s job to ensure that the market continues to flourish into its second millennium and beyond.
In this role you will work as part of a small team bringing new traders to St Albans Markets, supporting existing traders, and ensuring the smooth running of operations on markets days. The markets team deliver 140 market events each year as well as supporting our charity and events teams.
