Salary: £37,056 (plus £3,276 London Weighting where applicable) pro-rata

Living Wage Foundation
The Living Wage Foundation was launched in 2011 by Citizens UK to tackle in-work poverty and ensure that workers earn enough to live on and participate in family and community life. Citizens UK is the home of community organising with diverse civil society alliances set up to develop leaders to work on the issues that matter to them, such as the Living Wage. Other projects include PACT (Parents and the Community Together) and Sponsor Refugees to add depth to the impact of Citizens UK’s work.
The Living Wage is a movement of businesses, organisations and people who believe that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay. The real Living Wage is an independently-calculated hourly rate based on the cost of living and announced each November during Living Wage Week, our annual celebration of a growing network of almost 12,000 Living Wage Employers.
The Living Wage Foundation celebrates employers that voluntarily choose to pay the real Living Wage through an accreditation scheme that recognises a long-term commitment to fair pay and has secured pay rises for 400,000 low paid workers.
Purpose
The Living Wage Foundation has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Project Manager. We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual with the ability to build relationships with employers across the Living Wage network.
The Project Manager will be responsible for driving forward our Living Pension standard. The standard was launched in March 2023, t and is a voluntary savings target independently calculated to provide enough income to meet every day needs in retirement.
The ideal candidate would be a proactive and experienced project manager with outstanding communication skills and a track record of network building. We are looking for someone who will expand Living Pension and grow this new accreditation with Living Wage employers and raise awareness of the standard, particularly in the business community.
The role will also involve working with our programme team to increase their knowledge and skills in the Living Pensions standard, enabling them to generate leads and deliver support and guidance to employers looking to implement a Living Pension for their workforce.
The Living Wage Foundation has grown significantly and continues to evolve its offer to employers. There will be opportunities in this role to get involved in other areas of work and projects aimed at mobilising employers to tackle poverty and deliver change in the UK and globally.

An integral part of the local community, we provide retail and horticultural services to the public and training and work-based opportunities to adults with mental ill health. Day-to-day, you’ll assist with the supervision and training of the people we support and contribute to the development of the service. We’ll also rely on you to open the centre and serve customers to enable the sale of plants and associated products during selected bank holidays and weekends. Providing horticultural advice and maintaining all plant stock in good condition will be important too, as will helping to assess risk and getting involved in team evaluations and reviews. And, when it comes to promoting an environment of service user involvement and recovery, again, you’ll be there, ready and willing to play your part.
As well as a proven ability to motivate and train others, including running group activities, you’ll need good time management skills and a creative yet practical approach to problem-solving. We’ll also be looking for lots of initiative and an enthusiastic, flexible and innovative approach to work. ‘Ataxia’ is an umbrella term for a group of neurological disorders that affect balance, coordination and speech. A serious but rare condition thought to affect 12,000 adults and around 500 children in the UK. We provide advocacy and support those affected. We are actively involved as the patient voice for the first USA approved drug for the condition.
Managing a small team, the Chief Operating Officer is a new role that has been created to strengthen the Finance department and play a pivotal role in ensuring Finance, Governance, HR, Legal, IT are responsive and efficient.
Summary of key responsibilities will include;
- Developing a trusted and effective relationship with the CEO to lead the organisation collaboratively
- Oversee all aspects of finance including delivering the financial strategy, overseeing financial planning, control and reporting
- Monitor and assess the financial impact of any strategic initiatives or material capital projects
- Develop, direct and oversee all business activities of the charity across Operations and IT with a focus on designing systems and processes to enable efficiency and growth

In order to be successful in the role, we are looking for a formally qualified senior finance leader who will have gained their relevant financial management experience within a charity/not-for-profit organisation.
You will have an in-depth understanding of the complexities of restricted/unrestricted funds from a variety of revenue streams. With excellent communication skills you will confidently build relationships with the CEO and budget holders, becoming the trusted advisor to the Board of Trustees and senior leadership team.

Rainbow Migration, the longest-running charity in Europe dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system, is recruiting a Legal Officer to advise and help improve the representation of LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum and help change the asylum and immigration system to one that treats everyone with compassion, dignity and respect.
We are looking for a qualified solicitor or barrister with valid practising certificate, or already accredited to Level 3 OISC, with two years’ experience in providing advice and representation in asylum including working in legal aid.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the legal advice service. Under the guidance of our Legal Service Manager, you will also build capacity amongst legal representatives by designing and delivering training, giving second tier advice and developing and coordinating a network of practitioners working in this area. You will use the knowledge you gain in this role to help deliver Rainbow Migration’s policy work, such as inputting into policy papers and meeting with partner organisations when required.
We will also consider applications from people who do not want to do the policy elements of the job, but to instead focus on first and second tier advice. Please mention in your covering letter if you are applying for this option.
This is a unique opportunity to build on your experience as a lawyer to improve representation across the sector and create change in government policy and practice. You will be supported to develop as a specialist lawyer and in your policy skills.
Responsibilities will include:
· Deliver one-off advice to adult LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum and work with colleagues to refer them to quality legal aid and pro bono lawyers
· Provide casework assistance e.g. helping to prepare witness statements, making referrals to other specialist organisations and taking other urgent steps (whilst not representing service users or maintaining a caseload)
· Provide occasional advice (within competence) on other issues affecting asylum and partnership service users such as asylum support, legal aid, trafficking, family reunion or community care
· Deliver second tier advice to the legal representatives of LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum and other charities and professionals
· Work with the Legal Service Manager to design and deliver training to lawyers, NGOs and other professionals
· Write blogs and articles on asylum and immigration policy and legislation as they apply to LGBTQI+ people
· Contribute to policy and briefing papers
· Assist with preparing guidelines and briefings for legal services and pro bono lawyers
The Legal Officer will not be providing direct legal representation of service users. However, the role includes substantive advice and casework within the scope of legal support and referrals for our service users, as well as merits testing and second tier advice.

Contract Type: Permanent.
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week). Working part-time or job-sharing will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.
Salary: Starting at £40,175, with potential annual step increases up to £44,868 (pro-rata for part-time employees), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, the trustees consider giving a separate inflationary increase every April.
Location: Remote or from Rainbow Migration’s offices in central London. Hybrid working will also be considered. The successful candidate could work from anywhere in the UK but would be expected to occasionally travel to London and other parts of the country for meetings and events. As our Safety Officer, you will:

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Coordinator to support our care teams in delivering a high-quality family support service in the region, working with families and professionals to ensure the families we support have access to the services they need.

We are a small team (7 people in total) with an ambitious goal to secure affordable and long term workspace for artists and creatives. We will shortly be opening our third property.
CLT is based in London but we work remotely most of the time. You will need to be able to get to meetings in London 1-2 occasions per month.
We support flexible working (most of us work part-time) and it will be up to you how you arrange your three days per week.
About you
You will need to be experienced in technical charity finance matters – for example, partial exemption VAT, Gift Aid, reserves reporting, primary purpose trading – and be able to present charity numbers clearly to a range of audiences.
You’ll be confident in putting together and assessing cashflows and financial appraisals and communicating your conclusions.
You’ll have great IT skills, especially with Excel, so that you can minimise the time you spend on bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
You will probably have experience of being the sole finance person or the most senior person in a small charity or SME. You will be excited about the thought of a role that involves both detail and strategic oversight.
You probably won’t have experience of every single issue that will come your way in this role but you’ll have a proven ability to research issues that are new to you and use your networks to come up with practical solutions.
