We are excited to be recruiting for a new Communications Coordinator at Volunteer Centre Hackney who will play a key role in helping increase volunteering and grow strong thriving communities across Hackney. Using wide-ranging communications, you will be vital to reaching diverse people across the borough and building key partnerships to help people enjoy the benefits of our services - all of which hugely improve people's lives and bring people and communities together.
The Communications Co-ordinator will play a key role in helping to build, promote and retain VCH’s public profile with a diverse range of audiences, helping us to drive volunteer sign-ups in Hackney, and promote our services to a wide range of stakeholders.
We have recently launched a whole new website and branding, so this is an exciting time to join our team. We have started to work together with residents to make films and are making plans to increase both our reach into specific communities, as well as promote our impact to new funders and partners.
You will plan, write and distribute a range of content across the marketing mix including our website, blog, newsletters, social media and in print. This includes writing copy and sourcing imagery for VCH events and activities, creating regular e-bulletins, updating social media channels, creating content to share the impact of our work, as well as helping to promote outreach and other events and activities to various diverse communities. This will be done together with VCH staff and volunteers, who you will support to co-produce interesting content.
You will take the lead in developing and implementing regular communications campaigns that celebrate the diversity of, and our work with Hackney’s local communities. This will include targeted campaigns around a number of topic specific awareness days, as well as with and for specific communities, to increase our reach across diverse populations.
You will roll out our brand refresh across all our programmes, working together with VCH staff to ensure buy-in. You will be proactive to create new and interesting materials to promote our services and their impact to a wide range of stakeholders including new funders as well as partners, and will ensure all our social media channels and websites are updated.

The role and your key responsibilities
As an Account Manager, your role is to make sure that all partners in your area make the most out of the Unifrog platform. You’ll build and maintain excellent working relationships with your partner schools and colleges, and provide expert guidance on how to embed the platform across all year groups. You will cover your own area of the country with occasional travel to your partner schools and colleges (on average 1-2 days per week).
Your key responsibilities will include:

Work with schools and colleges to provide resources and strategies which maximise staff and student engagement with Unifrog, identifying and promoting best practice across partner schools.

The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and work in various community settings (including GP surgeries) and psychological treatment centres.

Key responsibilities:
Clinical
1. Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service.
2. Conduct assessments and therapy over the telephone, telemedicine and face to face.
3. Offer High Intensity treatment in individual and group settings (as agreed)
4. Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the department’s referral protocols, and refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary.
5. Formulate, implement and evaluate therapy programmes for people attending the service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme Coordination and Project Delivery
- To work closely with the Director of Strategy and Programmes to coordinate and support the delivery of all our programmes to achieve the outputs and outcomes agreed with our funders.
- To support with event management both online and face to face including providing technical support to participants on platforms for online training, including driving all courses hosted on Zoom, and providing excellent customer service to all engaging with our work.

Role Responsibilities:
Strategy, planning and growth
· Track progress against plans and budgets, and support shop teams to adapt, phase and prioritise work where appropriate.

- Support the HR Consultant with the review and updating of HR policies, including hybrid working, maternity, and paternity leave.
- Oversee the HR Inbox and resolution of queries working closely with the HR Officers.
- Support ad hoc projects, such as reviewing leaver analysis.
- Provide support for EDI and training initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager / HR Generalist.
- Ability to support EDI initiatives.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Experience of running successful talent acquisition and onboarding.
- Experience of HR policy development.
- Interest in supporting humanitarian causes and addressing pressing global issues.
- Flexibility and willingness to work in a hybrid environment.
- Available to start reasonably soon.

Prospectus are delighted to be supporting a small criminal justice charity as they look to appoint a new Head of Finance. This position is offered a permanent basis with one day per week in their Vauxhall Office. This position could be offered full time or on a part time basis.
The Head of Finance is a newly created position within the organisation and is required to provide strategic oversight of the finance function for the charity. The organisation outsources their accountancy so this position will be focused supporting the CEO with strategic direction of finance, forecasting and budgeting. This position will also line manage one member of staff.
The successful candidate will be full or part qualified and have significant experience within finance positions. You will have experience with different types of funding (restricted and unrestricted) and ideally exposure to contracts from statutory funders. You will be a team player with strong communications skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
