As Deputy Director, Strategy & Innovation, you will: 

• Lead the development, implementation, monitoring and ongoing refinement of Greenpeace UK’s fundraising strategy, aligned with GPUK’s new 3-year organisational strategies and objectives
• Provide strategic support and advice to the fundraising director and fundraising leadership team, leveraging your expertise to guide decision-making
• Work with colleagues across the fundraising department and the wider organisation to embed a culture of innovation and strategic alignment, ensuring collective ownership for delivering results
• Be accountable for the fundraising innovation pipeline and investment, while sharing responsibility for a £35m fundraising income budget, driving forward new opportunities that enhance supporter engagement and income generation

Ideal skills and experience: 

• A solid understanding of various fundraising disciplines, as well as the key principles of supporter engagement and experience, achieved through operating at a senior level in a busy fundraising team
• Strong working knowledge of new product development, innovation methodologies and fundraising to deliver supporter focused propositions in a range of contexts
• A strong planner and strategic thinker, with proven experience of developing, guiding and implementing strategy at department and cross-organisation level
• Extensive experience of planning, forecasting and budgeting, including developing investment cases and modelling income, return on investment and lifetime value over short, mid and long term horizons
• Demonstrable experience of leading, managing, motivating and inspiring high-performing teams

The Role

We are recruiting for a Community Fundraising Manager to join our Fundraising team. The role will be instrumental in the Foundation’s engagement with different communities and building fundraising partnerships across a range of community audiences, including youth and education, sports clubs, community groups and individuals doing their own activities. You will be responsible for growing our existing community products such as Turn Cricket Red as well as introducing new products and initiatives to generate growth in Community Fundraising. • Project Manage the delivery of the community fundraising programme at RSF, leading on activity working group meetings, coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure campaigns, activities and events are managed efficiently
• Work closely with the schools lead and school manager to grow our schools fundraising programme – working collaboratively so the training programme objectives are also met
• Develop a long-term growth strategy for Turn Cricket Red – focused on maximising current opportunities as well as diversifying to increase our reach
• Deliver high value supporter stewardship to increase lifetime value and impact of their fundraising
• Build and maintain a variety of community relationships across varying stakeholders and seniority, ensuring opportunities for growth are maximised
• Alongside the team, co-ordinate event/activity logistics including but not limited to sales, bookings and liaison with supporters and suppliers, material production, promotion, set up, and delivery
• Oversee relationship with key providers of event fundraising mechanisms such as online donation platforms, auction platforms and text to donate services
• Work with colleagues to ensure all events are adequately supported with staff, volunteers and hosts, and that all stakeholders receive appropriate training/ briefing and post event debriefs
• Work with the Head of MarComms and Digital to produce engaging fundraising collateral and information for event and community supporters including pre and post event communications/marketing collateral, working with external production companies where required
• Ensure all events and activities are compliant with fundraising code of conduct, GDPR and other event processes/policies
• Oversee the use of the CRM system to ensure data is recorded in compliance to Data Protection and GDPR and maximises output for supporter journeys
• Use sector trends and audience analysis to direct strategy and ensure that RSF remains innovative and at the forefront of Community fundraising

• Experience of designing and delivering successful Community fundraising events and activities

About the Ruth Strauss Foundation

In early 2018, Ruth Strauss, the wife of Sir Andrew Strauss the former England cricket captain, was diagnosed with an incurable lung cancer that affects non-smokers. Ruth died on December 29th 2018; she was 46 years old and mother to two children, then aged 10 and 13.

In her memory, Sir Andrew has launched The Ruth Strauss Foundation to:

• Provide professional emotional support for families when a child is facing the death of a parent

About the Organisation

The Grenfell Education Hub will open later this year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub will provide educational support to children, young people, their families, and local schools.

Following a consultation process in 2023 and 2024, the hub will bring together a team of professionals, including four specialist teachers, an Educational Psychologist, a Speech and Language Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Careers Coordinator, and a Family Support Worker. Their time will be split between direct work with children and families in the hub and supporting local schools.

The hub’s objectives are to:

The role

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Programme Manager to join the Academy’s Research Programmes team to lead on the development of the post-award phase for the new Green Future Fellowship programme.

Primary Specialist

The Role

The Primary Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting children affected by the Grenfell tragedy. Working closely with families and primary schools, you will help identify individual needs, develop tailored solutions, and advocate for children’s education and wellbeing.

You will:

• Conduct baseline assessments to understand children's specific needs.
• Provide advice and guidance to parents on school applications, transitions, and educational rights.
• Liaise between families and schools, ensuring teachers are informed about children's needs and support.
• Connect families with relevant external support services and refer to health organisations such as the Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service.
• Deliver trauma-informed guidance on the impact of trauma on learning and behaviour, offering strategies for emotional regulation and academic success.
• Develop and run workshops on family relationships, communication, and restorative practices.
• Facilitate open dialogue sessions where involved parties can express their feelings and work towards mutual understanding.

The Grenfell Education Hub will open later this year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub will provide educational support to children, young people, their families, and local schools.

The Role:

About the role:

As a Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will be:

• You may be a qualified IDVA or a Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker wanting to develop your work for Black & Minoiritised victims of domestic abuse as part of our BMC team.
• Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
• Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
• Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.

You will need:

• To be comfortable with running group training sessions and be willing and able to share your specialist knowledge with acute stakeholders..
• Have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach and the confidence to be able to influence the way in which this service is delivered are key.
• Have a knowledge of help-seeking intersectional barriers and the support needs of BMC idenified victims of domestic abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).

• Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
