About the post
This exciting role would mean joining Refugee Action at a crucial point in the charity’s 40-year history, full of opportunity and potential. You will use your creative skills to support the creation of innovative digital content to engage and mobilise existing supporters and add to Refugee Action’s rapidly growing audience. Working between the fundraising and campaigns team, this role will support the Digital Communications Manager to deliver our ambitious digital strategy, focusing on the development of engaging digital content, the management of one of our key supporter databases, and will lead on the engagement and retention work which supports Refugee Action’s fundraising and campaigning.

We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate:
• Commitment to removing barriers to power for people with lived experience, and commitment to anti-racist practices.

• Strong understanding of the role of digital tactics in the development and execution of campaign strategies.

Turn2us is a national charity tackling financial insecurity and its structural causes. We work with co-producers and partners to provide people in financial crisis with the means and agency to get back on their feet, build resilience, move forward with their lives and thrive.

Turn2us and its partners have secured £1.5 million from The National Lottery Community Fund to deliver an ambitious and innovative new programme that will support charities in England and Scotland to empower diverse and marginalised communities to respond to climate change and to get their voices heard in environmental policy and media debates.It will focus on Disabled people, those facing financial insecurity and people from ethnic minority communities. These voices are often the least heard from in national and local debates on our environment. This new work aims to change that.

As part of this programme, The National Lottery Community Fund have funded the creation of an Engagement Manager post at Turn2us to work with those facing financial insecurity. The Engagement Manager employed by Turn2us will deliver activity with smaller charities and grassroots organisations supporting those facing financial insecurity that:

• Increases awareness of the impact of environmental change and related policy on different communities 
• Listens to people in these communities to find out what actions they want charities and local government to take
• Develops shared local environmental policy priorities and empowers these organisations to advocate directly to local and national policy makers
• Identifies actions that these organisations can take to support communities to respond to climate change, and helps organisations to implement them
• Identifies people with lived experience to receive hands on training in order to act as diverse champions to media and policy makers

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this. 

Their vision is to find a cure for all types of brain tumours. To achieve their mission, they are looking for a Community Fundraiser who will proactively engage with supporters, community groups and volunteers across the West Midlands to join their team of 12 Community Fundraisers across the UK.

The Community Fundraiser (West Midlands) is responsible for providing support and guidance to fundraisers within their communities to achieve their ambitions and ultimately raise vital funds for Brain Tumour Research. This is achieved through a wide variety of activities such as helping supporters to make the most of their own fundraising, engaging participants with externally organised events such as the Great Birmingham Run, and encouraging communities to get involved in events organised by Brain Tumour Research such as Wear a Hat Day and Walk for Hope. The Community Fundraiser will be the face of Brain Tumour Research in the area, providing excellent stewardship to existing supporters, and building great relationships with new supporters.

The Helen Bamber Foundation, founded in 2005 by the pioneering human rights advocate Helen Bamber, was created to reflect the evolving global patterns of violence and persecution. Asylum Aid is a leading actor in strategic litigation and advocates for policy and systemic changes to remove barriers to protection and justice. Asylum Aid maximises its impact by providing training and working in partnership with other organisations.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE 

Having moved into our new Trauma Centre last year, we are now looking for our first Office Manager, to coordinate and ensure that our office space and facilities are maintained in a safe, clean, and secure environment. They will have overall ownership of the office with regards to the day to day running and ensuring health and safety compliance, and with the support of a Facilities and Operations Assistant, they will ensure our staff and clients are able to enjoy a safe and comfortable environment.

As a Participation and Stewardship Officer, you will support the Communities and Participation team in embedding the participation of people with lived experience of cancer in Macmillan’s work and decision-making, aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives. You will provide inclusive stewardship to networks and communities, acting as a welcoming and supportive point of contact for people living with cancer who are engaged in Macmillan’s work. Working alongside our other Participation and Stewardship Officers and the wider team, you will assist with the design and delivery of participation programmes with a focus on organising high-quality and accessible participation activities. You will develop and maintain systems to manage Macmillan's external networks and ensure effective, accessible management of up-to-date documents, resources, tools, and templates for colleagues. You will work the Communities and Participation leadership team to shape and maintain effective team management tools and processes.

Please note: this is a part-time role, working 21 hours across 3 days per week. St George the Martyr, is an architecturally significant Grade II* listed church in Bloomsbury and an important part of London's Georgian and Victorian Heritage. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Capital Project Manager to lead the Development Stage of a major conservation and improvement project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of one of London’s most important historic churches and play a key role in its restoration and renewal.

About the Role
As a Client Project Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of our vision for the future of St George the Martyr, including saving the church, classed as Heritage at Risk, and creating a welcoming, active and inclusive church that engages people traditionally under-served by heritage. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all areas of the PCC’s activity in the Development Stage of the capital project, supporting a team of specialist consultants and the Design Team. Working closely with the Rector and Project Board, you will lead the internal and external project team, ensuring the Client’s interests are represented throughout.

About You

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing all aspects of the capital project on behalf of the client.
• Coordinating and procuring the multi-disciplinary project team and consultants.
• Managing the project budget, reporting to funders, and ensuring compliance with funding agreements.

• Overseeing design development, procurement, risk, and programme delivery.

You will need:
