The role 

We are seeking a fundraiser who relishes the excitement of exceeding income targets and developing strong relationships. You will identify opportunities to increase the value of your partnership portfolio and work closely with the Corporate Development Team to ensure the transition between new business and account management is seamless for both FareShare and our partners.

You will manage a portfolio of partners: designing and delivering tailored partnership plans and an innovative and personalised suite of partnership activity. You will work with colleagues across fundraising to ensure we maximise the value of our partnerships. We currently have partnerships with a large variety of exciting brands such as Tesco, KPMG, Yorkshire Building Society, Premier Foods and many more. Our partners support us in a variety of ways including cause related marketing campaigns, staff and customer fundraising and corporate donations.

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of excellent partnership/relationship management and ideally have experience of delivering a variety of fundraising partnerships including commercial brand licensing and staff fundraising. You will have excellent communication skills and will be comfortable negotiating bespoke deals and benefits packages and will lead renewal plans to secure and grow the support of current partners.

Cross team collaboration is crucial to the role, and you will be able to demonstrate strong relationship building and influencing skills.

Main areas of responsibility

1) Deliver first rate account management to a portfolio of existing corporate partners to achieve objectives and  build excellent relationships that facilitate future growth.

• Provide a high standard of professional relationship and account management to a portfolio of partners, delivering a mix of partnership types including Charity of the Year, commercial brand partnerships/campaigns and retail partnerships.
• Working with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager and wider team to implement bespoke cultivation and stewardship strategies for each corporate partner, that encourage the development of strategic, multi-faceted partnerships thinking creatively and entrepreneurially to maximise the value of each partnership and meet agreed targets and KPIs.
• Ensure FareShare’s strategic priorities are addressed through our partnerships and that the brand is protected and appropriately valued.
• Prepare and deliver engaging and confident presentations (both at one-to-one level and at a much larger scale).
• Establish, agree and monitor key milestones for each relationship.
• Ensure that partnerships are delivered on time.
• Monitor and maintain systems and processes, including Salesforce, financial accounting, pipeline, contracts and due diligence.

2) Work closely with internal stakeholders to maximise the potential for fundraising

• Work with the Corporate Development function on the development of new partnerships and to ensure a smooth transition from new business to account management.
• Work with other areas of Fundraising, the Food Team and Operations Team to maximise on opportunities for partners .
• Work with Marketing and Communications Team to promote partnerships across FareShare and partner channels.

3) Adhere to the organisation’s legal obligations, Charity Compliance & Policies

• Efficient and effective management of commercial income activity ensuring compliance with GDPR, legal and charity regulation and FareShare’s own Ethical Gift Policy.
• Manage all legal and financial aspects of partnership agreements.
• Manage and work within FareShare’s IT systems and data guidelines .
• Represent Fundraising where required on internal working groups .
• Undertake training and skills development and keep up to date with the changing requirements of the role.

Foxglove is a litigation and campaigning nonprofit that exists to make the use of technology fair. When governments and major tech companies use technology to abuse their power, we investigate, litigate and campaign to make it right. 

Big Tech companies have become so large – gobbling up a huge slice of the global marketplace and an unprecedented treasure hoard of user data – that they’re now more powerful than many states. The harmful effects of this concentration of power are everywhere – threats to our democracy, to our privacy, decimated workers’ rights and platforms rife with disinformation and hate. Governments are ploughing ahead with the use of algorithms and mass data systems to cut costs and increase efficiency often resulting in digital tools that entrench unfairness and leave the most vulnerable in society in crisis. All these problems are only getting worse with generative AI.

Foxglove works to bring the rule of law to the tech and AI giants who have upended our public square, workplaces, and social lives. We fight to reduce these anti-democratic behemoths’ size and power and we challenge them for abusing their workers. We also work to ensure public bodies use data and algorithms openly, fairly, and legally. 

We have a strong track record. We’ve launched landmark cases seeking structural changes to big tech’s harmful business models, supported 180+ Facebook content moderators fired for trying to form a union to sue Facebook and their outsourcing company, Sama – winning world-first judgements. We helped launch Africa’s first content moderators' union and are urging UK and EU regulators to halt Big Tech’s maneuvers to hoover up generative AI as it has the rest of our online world. The role

The post holder will be responsible for managing Foxglove’s legal team and legal work. You will drive forward a range of cases, including the development of case theories, investigating and collecting evidence, drafting correspondence, evidence and submissions. You will also be responsible for coordinating and managing external legal teams. UK and international travel is required.

• Listen to affected communities, unearth issues caused by tech injustice, and come up with innovative legal solutions.

Person Specification

Essential 

• A strong interest in using the law to hold government and companies to account. 
• Qualified lawyer in any jurisdiction with at least senior legal experience.

Length and Salary

The role is permanent. The annual salary is £70,075 per annum less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance. 

Our team works remotely, and this role can be based anywhere. We would prefer you to work within or close to UK office hours, but this is flexible. Our team travels every two months for team days and twice a year for team retreats. This role involves one to one support for Carers of people with dementia, providing information, guidance, and advocacy, developing and delivering dementia training for Carers and facilitating support groups. This role also includes coordinating and delivering monthly Dementia Cafes for people with dementia and their Carers, including supervising cafe volunteers.

Context and purpose of role

Ramblers walk leadership programme increases the skills and confidence of people from diverse backgrounds to lead walks, enabling more people to benefit from group walks. As a member of the Programmes team, the Programme Lead (Walk Leadership) will be responsible for the successful development and delivery of the programme across GB.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on the design, development and operational delivery of the Walk Leadership programme across GB.
• Create operational delivery plans – to identify milestones, monitor risks, resolve issues and manage resource requirements.
• Design and develop resources and processes to support programme implementation.
• Be responsible for managing a budget in line with programme goals and objectives.
• Be responsible for evaluation and reporting, to ensure the programme meets KPIs and delivers measurable impact.
• Manage new and existing strategic partnerships with partner organisations and those working to reduce barriers to becoming active outdoors.
• Develop a network of walk leader volunteers – ensuring that appropriate systems, processes and support is in place.
• Work with partners to train and support walk leaders, and to promote the programme more widely.
• Engage diverse audiences from communities facing additional barriers to getting outdoors, to senior stakeholders including funders and other strategic external partners.
• Directly deliver some Walk Leadership events to support the continued development and co-production of the programme.

Knowledge and Experience
