Our UK-based, medium-sized charity is led by CEO Ash Perrin, with 6 core staff and a team of highly experienced crew and volunteers. We also have a Netherlands hub and a Norway hub, both with their own governance but all part of one global Seagulls team. The role

The Global Team Coordinator is a varied and essential new role in the charity that will combine all our people management functions, supporting our international delivery teams, our core team and our vital administrative functions. The central purpose of this role is helping us to engage, support, recognise and retain our most valuable asset: our amazing team of international skilled performers, volunteers and core team.

You’ll be responsible for all things people-related: from ensuring the right people are booked on, supported and looked after on projects; to helping us continually find and train an international, diverse team of new recruits; to establishing an engaging rewards and recognition programme to motivate and retain our fabulous people.

On a practical level, you’ll work closely with our Global Projects Coordinator, to ensure that all our projects across the world are properly staffed and that all our people’s transport, travel, accommodation and logistics are booked and in order; you’ll liaise directly with our delivery teams to ensure they are well supported, rewarded and retained; and you’ll liaise with our office and Senior Leadership teams to carry out relevant administrative tasks to make sure our international operational and booking systems and databases are perfectly organised and efficient.

At a cultural level, the role requires a confident, dynamic, personable and creative person who brings experience, energy and ambition. As a brand-new position, this role will also work closely with our CEO and with our Executive Director to trial new ideas and approaches to recruiting and managing an international, diverse team of people, and to cultivate the best environment for our team to flourish and achieve.

An exceptional people-person, with experience in administration, team support and management (although there are no direct line management responsibilities), you’ll be able to demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, collaboration and coordination skills.

Location: remote with occasional travel for meetings.
Reports to: CEO.

Responsibilities

Team coordination:

• Manage all team calendars, team bookings and team logistics for all global projects (except Norway and Netherlands national tours).
• Liaise closely with the Global Projects Coordinator to understand project requirements, booking relevant core and volunteer team on to every project (accommodating individuals’ particular disability, culture, religion, health or support needs).
• Book all team travel and accommodation on all global projects.
• Identify, recruit and arrange training for local team in international locations to join our projects.
• Liaise with our Norway and Netherlands hubs to ensure team scheduling and support is joined up across the global organisation.

Team recruitment and retention:

• Research, identify and network with international partners, colleges, universities, drama schools and youth organisations, to recruit and maintain an international, diverse pool of talented core and voluntary team to deliver our projects.
• Work closely with the CEO to run international recruitment initiatives, to identify and recruit a diverse, international pool of performers and volunteers.
• Organise and manage new core and voluntary training programmes around the world.
• Promote, manage and maintain a database of relevant non-performer volunteers to support the organisation’s core functions globally.

Team support and engagement:

• Develop and run a rewards and recognition programme to motivate all global team and volunteers.
• Carry out regular and appropriate team engagement activities and initiatives, to maintain excellent working culture and morale.
• Manage our team Wellbeing Programme for all our international core and volunteer teams.
• Identify and coordinate specific external training, to continually develop the teams’ abilities and professional skills.

General administrative tasks:

• Update and maintain global shared team calendars, relevant document logs and planning spreadsheets.
• Manage and update our global Client Management System, Salesforce.
• Manage, update and maintain all international core and volunteer team records and entries via our team booking system, Better Impact.
• Work closely with the Global Projects Coordinator, Executive Director and CEO to support with administrative tasks as required.

The ideal candidate

1-1 Advocacy Team Leader

Brighton and Hove Speak Out is an innovative advocacy charity. We support people with learning disabilities to have a voice and choice and control over their lives by providing a range of advocacy services and community projects.

About the role

This is an opportunity to join our charity in the role of 1-1 Advocacy Team leader.

You will be responsible for leading our 1-1 advocacy team, supporting a small team of advocates to deliver a range of advocacy to adults and young people with learning disabilities.

You will oversee delivery of casework, referral management and monitoring, ensuring Speak Out advocates provide high quality support within a framework of good advocacy practice.

You will also hold a case load supporting people across the service to speak up for themselves and grow in confidence, equip them to understand and exercise their rights and options, and will assist them in the decision-making process relating to their care, treatment, and support.

Our 1-1 advocacy service is tailored to meet individual needs, offering the following support:

· Community issue advocacy - advocacy cases cover a range of issues, including accessing social care and health services, housing issues, wellbeing and relationships.

· Specialist advocacy – support for parents with learning disabilities going through child protection proceedings and for young people with learning disabilities in transition to adulthood.

· Statutory advocacy – advocacy case work under the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act (RPPR)

· Drop-in advocacy service - immediate, short term 1-1 advocacy is available during weekly drop-in sessions at our central base in Brighton

About the role 

Mission Without Borders is seeking an experienced Salesforce Support Specialist to focus on three key areas; Salesforce Administration, training, and process documentation. 

As a Salesforce expert and product champion, the post holder will work closely with our existing Salesforce Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for Salesforce support and training across all staff in all 18 countries. They will triage incoming tickets, provide support, fix problems, make configuration changes, and work closely with our Salesforce Developer and Product Owner to manage change requests. 

With significant stakeholder engagement, they will help to develop a staff training programme for all countries and deliver both routine and ad-hoc training for new employees, new processes, feature changes, and upgrades. 

Process documentation will need to be created for new, modified, and existing Salesforce/business processes along with details of third-party integrations and submitted change requests. 

The role sits within the International Salesforce team, led by the Salesforce Developer and Product Owner. The team’s purpose is to be guardians of the organisations data and processes, supporting the rollout, maintenance, and extension, of our Salesforce platform and services. The Salesforce Developer and Product Owner reports to the International Chief Information Officer (CIO), who is responsible for leading MWB’s digital transformation and ensuring the successful implementation of several new digital, IT, and Salesforce initiatives.

Management Role

About the Program

The Europe Regional Finance program has evolved out of our Financial Regulation and Policy Program that began in 2019 with a narrow focus on European central banks. Since then, we've expanded to shape financial regulation and policy globally to accelerate clean energy and create lasting systemic change in how public finance addresses climate challenges. Now the Europe Regional Finance program will focus on EU Policy and Finance and UK Policy and Finance. 

About The Role

The purpose of this role is to contribute to achieving the objectives in the EU Financial Policy and Regulation project, specifically the work on public finance, fiscal policy and industrial strategy. Together with partners and allies, this role will help stop the political polarisation of net zero and contribute to building the broader case for public investment by establishing and propagating a narrative linking the opportunities of the clean energy transition with improving conditions for households and communities. This role sees the big picture and can translate it into actionable plans for maximum impact.

We support networks of organisations to work together to achieve outcomes that would not be possible by individual organisations acting alone. We expect all roles at Sunrise to actively support the capacity building of these networks and partner organisations. 

About You

You have experience working on public finance, fiscal policy, or industrial strategy. You understand what it takes to hold the big picture, and translate complicated campaign strategies into actionable steps. You enjoy digging into the policy details, but are able to focus on the key ways to move the campaign forward for maximum impact. You’re able to work with diverse networks of organisations from trade unions to business leaders. You have a strong understanding of the political context which dictates our work and what's possible, but also innovative in thinking through solutions and opportunities to do things differently. Key Responsibilities

Required skills and experience

• Advanced level campaigning experience in European public finance, industrial strategy, and fiscal policy in a similar role including unpaid, grassroots or lived experience.

• Proven experience researching, building, and incubating new strategies in consultation and coordination with partner organizations.

• Ability to work with the team to execute grants. 

• Ability to successfully manage across cultures, and a track record of creating inclusive work cultures, both internally and with partners.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a very dynamic environment with a high degree of flexibility and agility.

We are  recruiting for a Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager (High Value) to join Mary’s Meals UK. ​The Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager (High-Value) will be responsible for the development and implementation of the team’s Donor Advised Funds (DAF) programme. As a growing area of focus for the team, the role holder will have a significant impact on the strategic development of Donor Advised Funds fundraising at Mary’s Meals. This role will be responsible for creating and managing relationships with Donor Advised Funds themselves, with Donor Advised Fund donors, and for developing our organisation’s skills, resources, and knowledge of this audience.

MMUK is the largest and longest established National Affiliate in the Mary’s Meals network, currently raising c.£20M to support global school feeding programmes, reaching children living some of the world’s poorest countries. The promise of a meal attracts these hungry children into the classroom, giving them the energy to learn and hope for a better future.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Support the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships (PAP) to develop and implement the High Value Donor fundraising strategy​

• Build and steward relationships with Donor Advised Funds, both those we already receive funds from and others across the UK. These relationships will enthuse and encourage Donor Advised Funds to market Mary’s Meals to their donors, resulting in significant gifts to Mary’s Meals, long-term support, and mutually beneficial partnerships​

• Identify and secure partnerships with new Donor Advised Providers and Funders, developing warm trusting relationships and appropriate stewardship plans​

• Identify appropriate communication possibilities to communicate to our supporters about the possibility of giving through Donor Advised Funds such as through marketing emails or our website​

• Identify data needs for recording and managing Donor Advised Funds and donors on our CRM and Dashboard systems​

• Work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to expand the organisation’s High Value giving portfolio by proactively identifying and securing new philanthropic opportunities​

• Manage relationships with existing High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs), including those that give through non-cash assets such as shares or where there is potential to engage them through the prospect of DAF giving​

• Support the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to develop proposals and presentations to attract new innovative philanthropic opportunities

• Work as part of a wider Philanthropy and Partnerships team providing support to other Philanthropy Managers in their respective areas and leveraging and maximising fundraising opportunities​

• Collaborate with colleagues across Major Giving and Partnerships (MGAP), Communications, Mary’s Meals International and Data Insights teams to build appropriate supporter journey, communication and engagement opportunities for UK DAF and HNWI Engagement.​

About you:

• At least 3 years of relationship-driven high value fundraising and account management ​

• Ability to think strategically and manage a large and complex workload with good attention to detail​

• Experience working proactively with an entrepreneurial approach to network building ​

• Experience of identifying and cultivating new business approaches so as to grow the high-value portfolio ​

• Demonstrable evidence of devising, leading and delivering on complex projects with multiple stakeholders​
