Part of the Fundraising and Communications Directorate, our newly created Campaigns & PR Manager will design, execute, and oversee campaigns and public relations initiatives that effectively raise awareness of MyBnk’s mission, programmes, and impact within our target audiences and broader community.

You will be an expert at leveraging various communication channels, to coordinate national and regional PR campaigns to engage stakeholders, build relationships, and drive support for the MyBnk’s mission.

Part of the Fundraising and Communications Directorate, this newly created Digital Communications Manager will develop and implement the Digital communications strategy aligned to the wider Fundraising & Communications strategy, determining the most effective digital channels and tactics for MyBnk and associated KPI’s.

You will manage engaging content for all MyBnk digital platforms including website, social media, email newsletters, blogs and digital campaigns: this will include writing, editing and curating content on a regular basis. You’ll also be responsible for overhauling, management and development of the MyBnk website and other digital platforms, using data and insight to develop and optimise digital activities and content to reach new audiences, maintain existing audiences and drive conversions.

The role 

As our CRM Developer, you will act as one of Scope’s technical leads, primarily responsible for configuring and developing our Dynamics 365 estate over time. • A Microsoft certification in Dynamics 365

This is an exciting time to join Myeloma UK as we launch our new five year strategy. 

Our portfolio of grant funded research programmes and projects play an important role in achieving our strategic objectives.  These programmes aim to discover and share new knowledge, support the development of clinical trials and answer questions of unmet need in myeloma.

As Director of Fundraising you will be responsible for c£8-10m voluntary income, managing a team of c20-28 across all income streams to support long-term sustainable growth and the development of new income streams. Fire Fighters Charity are currently developing their SLT team and have big plans for the future under the leadership of their new Chief Executive, Sherine Wheeler. This position will be integral to supporting the overall leadership of the organisation, ensuring those ambitions are grounded in robust strategies and delivered with rigour, and further developing new cases for support that enable further income generation opportunities. 

Key Responsibilities

• Act as an effective member of the Senior Leadership Team, helping define and deliver organisational strategy and working closely with the CEO/Trustees to impart subject matter expertise.
• Lead the fundraising team to deliver against income targets and maximise new opportunities - developing and implementing an ambitious strategy that allows for supporter growth across regular giving, legacy, trusts and foundations, major donors, corporate and community income streams.

What is the role?

This a 12 Month Maternity contract.

Working within our values and behavioural framework, the role involves closely managing the relationships of our partner organisations (known as Licensed Organisations – LOs) and ensuring those within your portfolio offer quality and inclusive DofE programmes to young people.

While managing these relationships, across your portfolio area in Teesside, you will also identify and develop new relationships with appropriate educational and community organisations to widen the access of the DofE to young people, particularly those who experience marginalisation.

The Innovation team works across a variety of exciting activity, including contributing to the delivery of the multi-million pound Longitude Prize on dementia and leading Alzheimer’s Society Innovation Accelerator Programme, which is designed to boost new dementia products and innovations to market, delivering help and hope to people living with dementia.
In the role of Innovation Product Portfolio Adviser you will support the Innovation Impact Investment Manager with the ongoing management and development of our innovation product investment portfolio. You will cultivate and maintain relationships with current and former Accelerator partners, reviewing business plans, supporting with negotiations and exploring mechanisms for a return on investment, developing and monitoring collaboration agreements whilst tracking the impact of our investments. You will support with product development, helping identify routes for commercialisation and scale in order to maximise and monitor the impact of the most exciting new products for people living with dementia.
You will work alongside a team of Senior Innovators, each of whom will be accountable for their respective programmes of work.

About you

The National Homicide Service is a fast paced, specialist team funded directly by the Ministry of Justice to provide exceptional trauma informed practical and emotional support every day. About the role:

The role of Homicide Caseworker is varied, demanding and rewarding; no two days are the same and you will thrive on this challenge. You will need to be extremely organised and able work independently and as well as being a pro-active, supportive member of a team open to developing your personal resilience.

You will work closely with the Major Crime Police Units, Senior Investigators and Family Liaison Officers, you will provide a pivotal role to support clients through the Criminal Justice System. You will provide support to families by phone and Zoom when their usual Homicide Caseworker is unavailable. You will complete needs assessments, and will coordinate and deliver a tailored package of support alongside our commissioned providers and other key stakeholders.

You will be driven to make a difference every day with the ability to focus on the needs of vulnerable service users. You will have resilience and adaptability; understand the importance of professional boundaries; have excellent listening skills and the ability to demonstrate empathy. You will enjoy the challenge of a busy caseload and will be able to demonstrate the excellent organisation skills essential to managing a demanding and diverse workload.

As a fully trained Homicide Family Caseworker you will be responsible for managing your own complex caseload to the highest quality standards. This role is part of our remote working team and so you will be home-based, however you will need to be able to travel to work meetings and to attend training as required.

You will need:

• Effective verbal & written communication skills
• Experience delivering services within a statutory, voluntary or multi agency setting
• Good organisational skills, able to prioritise effectively
• To work independently & as part of a team
• Ability to build relationships with both interenal & external stakeholders

Rights & Security International (RSI) is seeking a Team Leader on International Civic Space to help us take our international work to the next level, especially in Latin America and East Africa. The successful candidate will lead our engagement strategy across Global Majority countries while building and supporting coalitions around country-specific projects.

Fluency in Spanish is required.

Role overview:

After two years of coalition-building with partners, we have developed a network of relationships with human rights activists and groups in El Salvador, Colombia, Brazil, Kenya, Indonesia, the Philippines and elsewhere. We are looking for a strong organiser and human rights advocate to continue building this network and help other groups organise to create impact.

We aim to facilitate civil society groups’ engagement with UN and regional human rights bodies, support grassroots-led research projects through small grants, and facilitate collaborations on shared advocacy projects.

This position reports to the Executive Director and supervises the work of the Eastern Africa Human Rights Assistant (EAHRA).

Person specification:

· Degree in law, human rights, public policy, international development or another relevant field.

· Fluency in spoken and written Spanish as well as English.

· A minimum of 4 years of experience in international human rights advocacy or relevant community organising, including at least some experience in building or leading coalitions.

· Experience in designing and implementing effective plans to achieve reforms.

· Familiarity with the social and political landscape of at least one country in Latin America.

· A record of drafting and publishing human rights analyses or advocacy documents.

· A strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace, and solid experience of work in multi-cultural environments.  

Optional qualifications:

· Expertise in one or more of the following areas: counter-terrorism issues, climate justice, migrants’ rights, or technology and privacy.

· Please tell us if you are fluent in any languages other than English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

· Create and lead advocacy strategies with partners at the national level in countries such as El Salvador, Colombia and Kenya to stop the human rights abuses that governments commit in the name of ‘national security’.

· Help civil society partners in Global Majority countries take advantage of international advocacy opportunities, including via the Rise Network.

· Oversee a small research grant programme.

· Lead RSI’s role in a major international coalition for civil society on counter-terrorism and human rights.

· Supervise the work of the Eastern Africa Human Rights Assistant.
