Big Tech companies have become so large – gobbling up a huge slice of the global marketplace and an unprecedented treasure hoard of user data – that they’re now more powerful than many states. The harmful effects of this concentration of power are everywhere – threats to our democracy, to our privacy, decimated workers’ rights and platforms rife with disinformation and hate. Big Tech and AI data centres are rapidly expanding, resulting in huge strain on energy and water supplies. Worldwide governments are ploughing ahead with the use of algorithms and mass data systems to cut costs and increase efficiency often resulting in digital tools that entrench unfairness and leave the most vulnerable in society in crisis. All these problems are only getting worse with generative AI.

Foxglove works to bring the rule of law to the tech and AI giants who have upended our public square, workplaces, and social lives. We have a strong track record. We’ve launched landmark cases seeking structural changes to big tech’s harmful business models, supported 180+ Facebook content moderators fired for trying to form a union to sue Facebook and their outsourcing company, Sama – winning world-first judgements. We're urging competition regulators worldwide to stop Google’s theft of independent news. We’ve filed the UK’s first legal challenge to a data centre permission decision, forced disclosure of secret contracts between tech giants and the NHS, stopped a racist Home Office visa streaming algorithm, helped make grading fair for UK A-level students and challenged the Department of Work and Pension’s use of an algorithm unfairly flagging disabled people for benefit fraud investigations.   

We are a small but growing team of lawyers, communications experts, and campaigners. We are a CIC, not a practising law firm. We partner with legal firms on cases, directing litigation in multiple jurisdictions. Our work is global, and we work in partnership with lawyers, civil society, unions, and people impacted by Big Tech.

About you

You are a highly experienced lawyer with a strong interest in using the law to hold governments and companies to account. You see the law as a tool for structural change, not just individual wins. The role

The post holder will work alongside our Co-Executive Director, Head of Legal and Legal Administrator in developing and managing Foxglove’s legal work. You will develop and drive forward a significant number and range of cases, including the development of case theories, investigating and collecting evidence, drafting correspondence, evidence and submissions. You will also be responsible for coordinating and managing external legal teams, in multiple jurisdictions. This will require you to have the comfort and ability to navigate diverse settings, while also having the insight to weigh up the benefits and challenges of pursuing cases in different jurisdictions. You will serve as an external representative for Foxglove’s work, writing and speaking on topics of relevance. You will also be a sparring partner for others in the team, bringing a creative mindset and political savviness. UK and international travel are required. Flexibility with working hours will sometimes be needed.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Case Development and Management

• Build connections, and listen to affected communities, unearth and pursue issues caused by tech injustice, coming up with innovative legal solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with impacted community members, unions, other lawyers, experts, co-counsel, intervenors, civil society organisations, whistleblowers, and the public.
• Explore and develop new and undiscovered opportunities for Foxglove to be impactful and effective in our work.
• Effectively work with the co-Executive Director and Head of Legal to develop and implement Foxglove’s legal strategy.
• Manage multiple cases at any one time, while also thinking to the future regarding cases that should be explored and developed.
• Draft and comment on technical and legal documents and correspondence.
• Lead evidence gathering.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Manage court deadlines and time limits where applicable.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of your work and our cases.

Other

• Help ensure communities’, workers’ and affected individual’s voices are heard in our campaigns, communications and advocacy work.

Person Specification

Essential

• Substantial experience in legal practice and conducting litigation and a demonstrated understanding of litigation strategies.
• Creative thinking and imagination.
• A strong interest in using the law to hold governments and companies to account.
• Qualified lawyer in any jurisdiction with at least 10 years of legal experience.
• Significant experience in legal practice in the UK.  
• Demonstrable commitment to supporting marginalised communities to access justice.

• Experience conducting cases from initial advice through to trial.

Length and Salary

The role is permanent. The annual salary is £88,400 per annum less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.

Our team works remotely, and this role can be based anywhere. We would prefer you to work within or close to UK office hours, but this is flexible. Our team travels every two months for team days and twice a year for team retreats. This role will include significant UK and international travel. Only candidates with the right to work in their location will be considered.

Purpose of the Job  

The Quality and Service Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our systems by carrying out testing activity for enhancements across Salesforce, Dynamics and Business Central. The role supports the smooth delivery of changes by combining structured testing with targeted service support, including triage of incoming issues and resolution of tickets.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• reating test plans based on user requirements with the Service Manager to enable testing to be done by the wider business.
• Create clear documentation regarding test outcomes, learnings from the enhancements and suggestions to improve them moving forward.
• Work proactively with the business to understand key systems and how they work.
• Be an internal point of contact between the business and our external IT provider by assisting in approval, information gathering to ensure smooth service.
• Support the Service Manager to ensure that tickets are managed and resolved within a timely manner.
• Monitor recurring issues and share insights that help improve system quality and inform future enhancements.
• Work with the business and the Service desk manager to understand prioritisation of work and assist in working out return on investment of required work.
• Carry out manual testing on BAU changes and new enhancements in the following systems – Salesforce, Dynamics, PowerBI and Business Central.

About the Role

We are seeking an individual to undertake the dual role of promoting the profile of the RAF Benevolent Funds welfare offer, whilst also carrying out welfare casework. This is a community-based position working from home but covering South Central Scotland.

Post holders will be expected to undertake holistic assessment of need both remotely (over the telephone and online) and when required in person across their region. You will be expected to work with individuals who may have complex and sometimes challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector, ensuring that support is made available to meet their need through the case working process.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals and will have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of issues affecting the Armed Forces community.

This is home based and the candidate must have their own vehicle for use of traveling around the region covered. Occasional travel to London will be required.

We now provide affordable 1:1 online counselling to women across the UK, alongside specialist group programmes supporting maternal mental health and key life transitions. Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement (P&A) is a dynamic, high-performing integrated function and a key enabler of King’s College London’s Strategy 2030. As King’s prepares to launch its next major philanthropy and engagement campaign in 2027, ahead of the university’s bicentenary in 2029[IG1] , we are seeking an Associate Director for Cross University Philanthropy to provide strategic direction across major gifts, mass fundraising, legacy, and trusts & foundations fundraising. This role will focus on ensuring cross university priorities, such as capital investment and student support, are clearly defined, fundable, and supported by compelling donor propositions.

As a key member of the Philanthropy leadership team, you will drive alignment with campaign priorities and embed a consistent, data-driven approach across the directorate. Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy & Campaign, you will lead a team of fundraising specialists across Trusts & Foundations, Leadership Giving, and Legacy & In Memory Giving and act as a central point of coordination for senior leaders across King’s. You will ensure priorities and strategies are clearly articulated, aligned, and effectively resourced.

About You and the Role

We are seeking an experienced and creative Digital Content Producer to create high-quality audio and visual content for use across the Society’s communications channels to help us grow and engage our audiences and showcase the work we do.

Working across the breadth of the Society’s activities, you will create, and/or aid colleagues and third parties in the production of, compelling visual content including video, graphics and animation.

This role will report to the Programmes Manager, but you will also work closely with the Communications team, supporting the Digital Communications Officer in delivering their digital communications strategy, and be part of cross-team collaboration that helps our charitable services reach more people.

Salary and Benefits

This is a permanent, full-time post subject to successful completion of a probationary period of three months. The salary range for this post is £33,550–£35,666 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. The post holder will be required to work Monday evenings until 8.00pm during term time, with TOIL provided. Additional evening and occasional weekend work will be required, by prior arrangement, to support events, typically around two extra evenings per month and some weekend conferences, with TOIL or overtime provided. The post is based in Kensington, London.

Terms

The role is a full-time (five days per week) on a fixed-term contract to 31 December 2026. The annual salary is £32,696 per annum less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.

This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 40% of their working hours from the London office and the rest of the week from home.
