We are looking for an experienced Multi Trader to work as part of a team to assist in provide an effective repair and basic handyperson service to all of our properties and schemes.

THE ROLE

The full-time Communications and Research Manager reports to the Chief Communications Officer, working to help inform the public about antisemitism using a variety of media.

You will be joining our small, fast-paced, entrepreneurial staff team based at our office in central London.

The role brings a diverse set of responsibilities and an opportunity to work within a charitable organisation with a strong sense of purpose.

Responsibilities

• You will write and edit journalistic-quality articles about antisemitism, from crime to politics, including investigative pieces

• Compose posts for our numerous social media channels, where we have an unrivalled following

• Design mailouts for our subscribers, informing them of our latest work and how they can get involved

• Draft accessible content for videos and our podcast, working with our Creative team which will use your concepts and content to create final products for our online audience

• Cultivate media relationships and provide information and research to journalists in real-time

• Help conceive innovative campaigns to raise awareness of antisemitism and educate the public

• Submit complaints to media broadcasters, regulators and others when outlets fail to meet their editorial standards

• Correspond with members of the public who write in to us

• Work with our academic volunteers and pollsters to help explain the nature of antisemitism in Britain, trends and strategies for addressing it

• Support units across our organisation in the preparation of materials relevant to their areas of work that conform to our house style and brand

• Report to the Chief Communications Officer, supervise a Communications Officer and work with a dedicated team of staff and volunteers

The Role
As our Welsh Language Officer you will be an integral member of the Citizens Advice Wales team, part of our Partnerships & Advocacy directorate, and you’ll play a key role in shaping the charity’s Welsh Language strategy.

The role involves influencing national teams, supporting local Citizens Advice in Wales, and you’ll also represent Citizens Advice within Welsh language networks and identify opportunities to support greater access and engagement for clients and colleagues in Wales.

A key aspect of the role involves strategic communication and stakeholder engagement with senior leaders; at Citizens Advice and with stakeholders across Wales including Welsh Government. You’ll also work in partnership with the Welsh Language Commissioner’s office delivering the Cynnig Cymraeg for Citizens Advice and driving forward the “Cymraeg Clir” approach.

Working closely with the Director of Wales and Cymru Advisory group you will shape our Welsh Language strategy and active offer whilst managing translation services and budgets, line manage the Welsh Language Translator, and ensure high-quality Welsh content across platforms.

We are looking for a passionate and empathetic individual who has the skills, knowledge and experience in coordinating casework and undertaking reporting of data to stakeholders. The IPO will undertake and be responsible for a range of administrative functions to advance and simply casework flow under the Sub-Regional Immigration Advice Service (SIAS) project. The IPO must have the ability to communicate effectively with referring agencies and stakeholders on a regular basis. The IPO will organise and present data to funders and others on behalf of NKLC. The IPO would have a good general understanding of Legal Aid casework, and the regulatory obligations set by the SRA and IAA.

The IPO will work closely with the Immigration Supervising Solicitor (ISS), Director and general admin team to progress and maintain the SIAS project. The IPO will manage referrals, liaise with the immigration team, and undertake a variety of administrative functions to maintain and resolve associated issues within the immigration department. Where appropriate, the IPO will arrange appointments, attend triage sessions off-site and liaise with referring agencies to ensure that caseworkers can advance casework as efficiently as possible.

What you'll need to succeed
This position is suitable for someone who:

• Has a Risk Management and Internal Audit Certification.
• Proven experience of line managing a small team.
• Has worked in the charity sector and/or public sector.
• Proven experience in Risk Management, Assurance and Compliance
• Is experienced of working with the most senior officials in a large organisation.
• Can build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders and manage relationships (and build influence) with a range of junior and senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Has proven ability in long-term planning, aligned to strategic goals, delivering key outcomes and results.
• Is experienced in governance, governance legislation, and governance best practices (desirable).

The role will take a lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners, developing and managing a pipeline of funding partners that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work. 

Since 2018, PCR has significantly increased income from Trusts & Foundations and Statutory sources, as well as working in collaboration with other medical research charities and non-profits. This is a newly created and integral role within the Partnership Fundraising team to build on this work and will be key to identifying and nurturing relationships with prospective partners and funders, as well as developing and implementing comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective partners. 

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of developing and nurturing relationships with funding partners (with experience of identifying and securing at least five-figure income), understanding complex issues and working with others to identify solutions, and producing compelling funding proposals in support of this work. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and manage strong, impactful relationships. 

Finally, candidates must have a passion for securing funding that will help improve the lives of people with prostate cancer and a commitment to advancing healthcare through strategic partnerships and collaboration. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct proactive prospecting and qualification of Trusts & Statutory funding opportunities to build a robust pipeline of potential funders. 

• Identify and nurture relationships with prospective Trust & Foundations and Statutory funding partners aligned with the mission and values of PCR. 

• Develop and implement comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective funding partners. 

• Stay informed about PCR’s current and future work and translate larger, complex programmes of work into relevant, compelling funding asks.

• Work closely with PCR's delivery departments and other income streams to identify, develop and maximise income generation opportunities. 

• Lead the preparation and submission of funding applications and reports for both existing and prospective funders. 

• Develop compelling, high-quality proposals for new and existing programmes, ensuring they are tailored to each funder’s priorities and aligned with organisational objectives.

• Lead negotiations and secure funding support from funding partners for activities aligned with PCR’s programmes of work. 

• Effectively manage project monitoring and reporting for PCR’s existing funded activities with identified funding partners, including regular communication, reporting, and public recognition of contributions (as appropriate), working closely with PCR’s delivery and communications teams.

• Stay informed of industry trends, giving initiatives, and relevant developments to inform partnership strategies and opportunities. 

• Represent PCR at external events, conferences, and meetings to promote partnership opportunities and expand our network, as required. 

• Database management to record pipeline and enable strategic planning against established KPIs and income targets. 

• Support Director of Partnerships to monitor and report income performance to PCR’s Board of Trustees.

You will strive to minimise wastage and losses through regular audits and clear procedures, maintaining accurate records of all transactions and stock movements.

You will also lead on staffing—recruiting, training, and supervising your team of around 12 student staff members. Responsibilities include creating rotas, processing payroll, and managing performance through regular feedback and support, while fostering a positive and productive team culture.

The Café Supervisor will work closely with the Commercial Manager – Strand to develop exciting product offerings and promotions. With support from the marketing team, you'll ensure effective merchandising and campaigns that increase sales and engage the student community. Strong relationships with students, colleagues, and suppliers are vital.

You will also manage catering bookings and ensure services meet high standards, from enquiry to delivery. Compliance with food hygiene, health and safety, and equipment maintenance is essential. Issues must be reported promptly, maintain a safe environment, and ensure all staff follow uniform and cleaning protocols.

You will engage with carers via various channels - phone, email, text, face-to-face, and group settings - ensuring inclusivity and accessibility. This is a multi-faceted role that blends frontline casework with community engagement and strategic development.
 
Main responsibilities of the role include:
 
Direct Support to Carers: 

• Deliver comprehensive carer assessments in line with the Care Act 2014, and co-produce tailored support plans
• Identify and assess eligibility for Carers Personal Budgets and assist with the application process
• Provide accurate and empathetic information, advice, and guidance on carers’ rights, benefits (e.g. PIP, Carer’s Allowance, Attendance Allowance), housing, and local services
• Act as a listening ear and a source of emotional reassurance for carers navigating challenges and crises
• Liaise with Local Authorities, NHS providers, and voluntary agencies to advocate for carers and coordinate support
• Make appropriate referrals and ensure follow-ups are completed

Identification and Outreach: 

• Lead proactive outreach efforts to identify new carers, particularly those from underrepresented or vulnerable communities
• Build and nurture collaborative relationships with GPs, hospitals, primary care teams, and community organisations
