Westway Trust is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Manager -Estate Development – to support on planning and construction and the future development of the Estate. You will also be responsible for capital projects, including tendering, management of contract managers, development teams, architects, engineers and contractors.
You will be a qualified and knowledgeable senior manager with strong and varied experience of operating within the property development, capital project management or other related field.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Maintain and / or develop an Estate Plan for the organisation
- Oversee larger refurbishments and capital projects on the Estate in all aspects including:
- Tendering and selection for architects, contractors, suppliers, engineers and other professional advisors as required
- Acting as the organisations lead for legal compliance purposes
- Where agreed act as the Principal Designer (the client) on behalf of the Trust in line with legislative requirements (2022 Building Regulations).
- Manage project managers brought in to manage particular capital projects
- Oversee developments through pre-planning and planning – liaising with relevant statutory, industry and other bodies
- Ensure appropriate community consultation, working with our Community Engagement staff.
- Lead, and oversee the Grounds and Gardens team, developing solutions to support proactive delivery.
- With the CEO, Head of Property further develop and implement the Trust’s Asset Management Strategy.
- Keep up to date with current legislation and regulations that affect the Estate and ensure compliance with charitable property law. Advise the CEO and the Trustees accordingly.
- Engage in forward planning with other senior staff to ensure the Estate can fulfil its potential for commercial and charity use
- Deal with senior stakeholders, particularly the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, on property/planning related matters.
- Ensure the creation and control of budgets on property refurbishment and capital builds.
- Provide information and support to fundraising efforts on capital projects
- Prepare Committee reports and attend meetings, as required.

Knowledge and Experience:
Leadership responsibilities
- You will be an active member of the Trust’s Team, contributing in particular to the development and delivery of the property aspects of the Trust’s strategy, business plans and land-use priorities.
- You will attend the Board’s sub-committee and other meetings supporting effective Governance and management as required.
Essential
- You will be a highly capable management professional who is used to working in a multi-faceted organisation, dealing with multiple stakeholders and committed to enhancing the lives of people in the local community.
- You will have a tertiary level qualification in construction, architecture, design or another relevant field.
- You will have at least 7-10 years’ experience of experience in property development, project management or related field. Including taking projects through RIBA stages 0-7.
- Experience of appointing and managing teams through the planning process. Initially gaining planning consent and through to managing contractors to deliver Practical Completion.
- Experience of working on refurbishments and new builds
- Experience of working with a legal team and marketing team and finance team.
- Experience of Risk Management across construction and development.
- You will ideally have property and/or asset management experience of commercial properties.
- Experience in procuring and managing professional services.
- Experience of significant budget formulation and management.
- Experience of strong project management, managing third party contractors and creating high performing teams.
- Experience of managing a number of projects simultaneously and projects outside your discipline.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, report writing and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills for both workplace and external representation, operating with enthusiasm, flexibility, energy and commitment.
- Demonstrable understanding and commitment to, and promotion of, equality opportunities and diversity.
- Experience of MS Office packages and other industry relevant software management tools.

We are seeking additional experienced Associate Independent Investigating Officers (IO) for Complaints, to increase our capacity to respond to referrals from Local Authorities to provide an independent element to the formal Stage 2 investigations under the Children Act 1989.
The IO will lead investigations, and will give the complainant (who may be a child, young person or adult) the opportunity to express their view, ensure the child or young person’s rights and best interests are at the centre of the investigation and that the investigation/review process is open and transparent. They write a report on the investigation/review, which is submitted to the referring agency.
The Job Description document sets out the expectations for an Associate Independent Person for Complaints (IPC) who is approved by Coram Voice. IPCs are independent, freelance and responsible for their own work. Nevertheless, IPCs are accountable to the organisation for their professional standards and are expected to comply with Coram Voice Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines.

We are recruiting for a Senior Supporter Services Manager to oversee and develop the Supporter Services function within a leading charity. Key Responsibilities:

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supporter care and operational efficiency.

Ensure all supporter acknowledgements and thank-you communications are timely and meaningful.
Lead the team in preparing for and managing peak periods, ensuring operational resilience.
Oversee relationships with third-party fulfilment providers, ensuring high-quality and efficient distribution of supporter materials.
Work closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate financial record-keeping and compliance.
Implement and oversee tracking mechanisms to measure team performance against SLAs and KPIs.
Manage complaints and complex queries with professionalism and empathy, maintaining high supporter care standards.
Provide strong leadership, ensuring team well-being, development, and performance management through regular feedback and one-to-one meetings.

Scope of role
The Advice Manager is responsible for the effective management and delivery of debt advice services across thirteen (13) prison pilot sites in England. This role ensures that the debt advice services operate smoothly, meeting the required standards and compliance with both internal and external guidelines. The Advice Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, manage staff, and ensure the quality and consistency of advice provided. This position involves working closely with the team to set targets, provide guidance, and resolve any issues that arise. Additionally, the role includes auditing case notes and advice quality to maintain high standards and compliance with funder requirements. The Advice Manager will also play a key role in managing resources, ensuring the health and safety of local sites, and fostering a collaborative working environment. This role will also include in-person site visits to various HMPPS sites for in-person workshops as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Management of MOJ sites to ensure all in-person or video advice services are available.
- Ensuring the local provisions and services are available daily by managing sickness, absences and emergencies.
- Working closely with other departments and external contractors to ensure the local sites are kept to the highest health and safety standards.
- Proactively identify resource shortages and work with the team to ensure this does not impact the level of service provided.
- Share good practice with fellow Advice Managers to ensure all local sites continuously offer a high standard of service.
Line management of a team to ensure objectives are set and met.
- Lead the team to meet objectives (service, quality, safety, and cost) in line with requirements.
- Lead the effort to identify opportunities for improvement within the team and the plan.
- To advise, steer and support the team to ensure team members’ work is compliant and a high-quality service is delivered.
- Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for individual development.
- Conducts 1:1 and team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations.
Ensure compliance and the quality of advice required are achieved.
- Ensuring the team is delivering a consistently high-quality debt advice service.
- Ensuring case files meets all auditing and quality standards and the requirements of the funder.
- Work collaboratively to ensure all projects and advice are FCA compliant
Contribute to the team
- Be an active member of the team, identifying opportunities for your own development.
- Advise wider team on research and analysis undertaken and of recent developments in field of work.
- Work in collaboration with our funder, and with colleagues from across their other funded organisations, contributing to key projects and meetings.

Your new role
The role is AP Assistant on a temporary basis for around 3 months. The role will include:
- Timely processing of high volume purchase invoices
- Secure authorisation of purchase invoices prior to posting
- Reconcile supplier statements and request for missing invoices from suppliers
- Manage and resolve invoice queries, liaising with suppliers and managers
- Set up new supplier accounts and manage existing account details
- Manage the AP inbox
- Code and post credit card expenses
- Raise purchase orders when required
- Other tasks to assist the team
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need previous AP experience, ideally in a high-volume environment. Strong systems skills would also be a bonus, including Excel. You must be able to start immediately and be happy to work 5 days a week in the office.

About the Role
As HR Operations Manager, you will be a key player in the Operations team to support Reprieve and its employees with all HR related matters. Your role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of HR. You will be the first point of contact for all staff relating to HR queries, policies, processes, pension, probation and development.
You will lead the recruitment process, providing a positive experience to all candidates. You will update recruitment processes as and when required, ensuring good practice is being followed.
Location, contract and salary
This is a part-time (four days per week) position, on a one-year fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend, subject to funding. The annual salary is £52,088 FTE (pro-rated to £41,670.40 for a four-day week) per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.
This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 40% of their working hours from the London office and the rest of the week from home. About the Role
Reporting to the CIO and a key member of the Global Information Services (GIS) leadership team, the Associate Director of Application Services will have considerable global strategic and people management responsibilities as we strive to successfully deliver our ambitious global digital & technology strategy.
This role manages a sizable portfolio of MSI global applications, including operational front-line applications used by MSI teams in the field, back-office applications for instance our group finance solution, and business intelligence / enterprise reporting platforms. Up to 35 MSI countries rely on these products to manage their day-to-day operations and enable thousands of clients to receive critical healthcare services through diverse channels, including maternity hospitals, clinics, mobile outreach teams, commercial sales operations, and supported by our contact centres.
The application portfolio comprises a blend of custom / bespoke apps developed specifically for MSI, and commercial package enterprise software solutions. It is critical the Associate Director of Application Services can manage both packaged and custom products.
Bespoke applications include our Electronic Health Records system (EHR) used in 160 maternity hospitals and large centres in 14 countries, and our CLIC+ system used in smaller clinics and by outreach teams in 20 countries. Commercial package software includes predominantly Microsoft Dynamics 365, where we have several key uses including for fundraising and as the CRM in our contact centres. Infor SunSystems 6.1 is our global accounting platform, and Azure/Power BI are critical for business intelligence and reporting. It’s an exciting time to join the team, as work is starting to modernise and transform our back office, with new budgeting planning & forecasting software and ERP.
Responsibilities of the Application Services team span the full application lifecycle, from initial project scoping and development through to ongoing application management and support, strategic roadmap creation, and continuous enhancement to ensure alignment with MSI's mission-critical operational needs.
Excellent stakeholder engagement is key to this role, requiring exceptional relationship development skills with senior leadership across multiple levels and geographies. Interactions will involve MSI Country Directors, global executive team, and potentially the global board. External engagement is also critical, with responsibilities extending to managing relationships with third-party software suppliers, engaging with technology providers, and ensuring MSI is sharing with and learning from iNGO sector peers. Strong collaboration across the rest of the GIS department and other global functions is required to successfully land major projects. Collaboration with the medical team is particularly critical, to help ensure clinical applications align to latest good practices and help to support clinical safety.

- Strong financial management skills and experience managing budgets up to USD 500k annually.

- Education: BSC, preferably in Computers Science or tech related fields.
