Legacy & In Memory Fundraising Assistant

The team is looking for someone to join as a Legacy & In Memory Fundraising Assistant. As part of this role, you will provide care and cultivation of In Memory donors, Legacy pledgers and enquirers by acting as first point of contact for these supporters and delivering ongoing one-to-one stewardship across various touchpoints. As part of the Legacy & In Memory Fundraising Team, you will contribute to achieving the team's aims and objectives through undertaking key administrative tasks and assisting with the delivery of the team’s projects including marketing campaigns, supporter events and internal promotion of messages to a range of audiences and stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate with a range of internal and external audiences, a high standard of computer literacy, and a passion for delivering excellent supporter care.
Please note that this is a 6-month opportunity.

OVERVIEW 

Stonewall Housing is in an exciting stage of growth, and it will be your role as Business Operations Manager to facilitate this growth through the creation and maintenance of smooth operational processes and administrative support to the organisation. You will work closely with the Leadership and Development Teams, and in partnership with our Services Administrator. 

In this post you will be supporting the Training Lead with the running of the training pipeline, such as sending invoices, booking forms and certificates; providing administrative and operational support to the Development Team so that they reach their fundraising, partnership, events and volunteering goals; supporting the CEO with any Board of Trustees-related tasks, such as taking minutes at the quarterly Board Meeting. Stonewall Housing has also recently adopted the project management and CRM tool, Monday. You will need to have experience of working with the same, or a similar, project management tool.

The successful candidate will aim to find effective and workable solutions in a range of contexts, negotiating within budget and working with any member of the team. You will help to make sure that all administration tasks are completed effectively and efficiently and create systems and processes to support all aspects of our work.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• To provide a high quality, flexible and responsive administrative support to the organisation. 

• To provide administration support for staff, management, and volunteers. 

• To ensure effective processes and systems to support front line work. 

• To maintain and update the projects stored on the project management tool, Monday.

• To organise and minute key organisational meetings.

MAIN DUTIES OF THE POST 

Administration 

• To open, record and distribute post as necessary. 

• To type various reports, forms and documents as required. 

• To provide administrative support to the Leadership and Development Teams, including arranging organising and minuting meetings, managing processes, recording progress. 

• To attend and minute the monthly all team meeting. 

• To attend and minute the quarterly Board Meetings. 

• To prepare the quarterly Board Report in partnership with the CEO. 

• To provide administrative support to the Income Generation team, helping with key events, supporter engagement and production of materials. 

• To prepare payroll each month, inputting sickness absence and any changes 

• To ensure that all laptops, mobile phones, and other equipment is allocated, recorded, and collected according to policy. 

Training administration 

• To provide administrative support to the Training Lead, helping with bookings, invoicing, and customer engagement. 

• To help maintain the training pipeline on the CRM tool, Monday.

IT & Human Resources 

• To maintain the organisational online HR system, ensuring information is accurate and up to date. 

• To act as a key point of contact for the IT service provider to ensure excellent customer service to colleagues. 

• To develop and maintain the IT network filing system. 

• To act as a source of assistance and information for other staff. 

Recruitment 

• To place adverts in relevant publications and on various websites as requested by the leadership and development teams. 

• To produce and send out electronic application packs for all staff, management committee and volunteer vacancies. 

• To organise and provide support and relevant paperwork to all interview panels. 

• To maintain appropriate administration and applicant records. 

Reporting 

• To provide support to the Leadership and Development Teams in producing monthly and quarterly outcome reports. 

• To provide support to the Leadership and Development Teams in producing monthly and quarterly KPI reports. 

Policy development 

• To carry out research and other assistance for policies as requested by the leadership team. 

• To ensure electronic policy files are up to date. 

• To maintain the policy review schedule at least once a year. 

YOUR EXPERIENCE 

• You will have experience coordinating projects, translating a ‘big picture’ strategy into smooth, reliable operations. 

• You will have experience using a project management tool, such as Monday or Asana.

We’re seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Achieving Potential department as a Music Coordinator. This is a really exciting and unique role for our organisation. As the Music Coordinator, you will lead on the development and delivery of sound-based activities within SHP as part of the wider Achieving Potential programme.

About the role:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic Executive Assistant to support the Strategy and Knowledge Directorate.

The Strategy and Knowledge Directorate is responsible for developing and monitoring the NSPCC strategy, influencing public policy, championing an evidenced-based approach in all our work, designing impactful services and developing and managing our knowledge and information services.

The Executive Assistant reports to the Director of S&K and supports her and the Senior Management Team to manage the administrative work involved in running the Directorate. As an Executive Assistant, you're expected to possess the skills to work flexibly within a team; to organise and prioritise your workload; respond to deadlines; and deal with confidential sensitive material. The successful candidate will need to be committed, organised and flexible, with a real passion for the work they do and a desire to contribute to making a difference to the lives of children.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing administrative support to the Director of Strategy and Knowledge (50%), Head of Knowledge and Information (20%), the Head of Strategy Delivery (10%) and the Special Adviser – Child Safety Online Taskforce (20%).
• Responsible for agendas and action logs for Directorate meetings, Senior Management Team meetings, Senior Managers Forum and various internal and external Board meetings.

· Using the CRM to analyse and report on campaign performance.

· Providing the team with wider administrative support as required.

· Strong digital skills; the ability to learn and feel comfortable with new systems including digital marketing tools and social media management tools. The post holder will work across many systems including  Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics and Meta Ad Manager.

The Women’s Health Services Manager will ensure the effective and efficient operation of the IRIS, ADViSE and other relevant services for women who have been subjected to domestic violence and abuse. She will play a lead role in ensuring that nia continues to deliver high quality services which meet relevant quality standards. PiP has developed a unique reputation for our experience and quality of employment support for adults with learning disabilities. This has led to an increased number of referrals with a focus on employment, an expansion of our in-house social enterprise capacity, and more employers keen to work alongside us to diversify their staff base.

PiP is keen to respond to and meet this demand. This role for us is the next step in doing so, allowing us to increase our job coaching capacity and providing more dedicated resource for students on their employment journey. As to date our coaching has been delivered across our existing staff team.

Purpose of the job/About the role

As Project Manager you will be responsible for the effective management of a broad range of strategic and operational projects at Dementia UK. You will actively manage projects that meet the PMO’s acceptance criteria and provide project consultancy to teams in the charity.

The PMO is a new department at Dementia UK, as a new member of this developing team, you will be in a unique position to help shape our approach to project management delivery. This will include helping to define ways of working across the PMO team itself, as well as building excellent relationships with our extended cross-charity project management community of practice and other key stakeholders across the organisation.

With demonstrable project management experience or a professional project management qualification, and experience in building strong stakeholder relationships, you will ensure projects run on time, within budget and are completed to meet set objectives and desired outcomes.

Main purpose of the role

This is a key role supporting the delivery of the online and in-person programmes that we run at Shine Cancer Support. Our programmes are a vital means of support for the Shine community, enabling younger adults to cope with cancer, no matter the type or stage of cancer.

As a Programme Officer, you will play an important role in working with the Programme Delivery Manager to ensure that the content of the programmes meets the needs of our service users, and that they are delivered in a way which empowers younger adults and builds Shine’s community across the UK. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Programme delivery:

• In collaboration with other team members, facilitating a range of Shine programmes, both online and in-person. This will include Shine’s current programmes: Break Out and Shine Circles, as well as in-person programmes such as Shine Shake Ups. Training and supervision will be provided for both. Travel may be required to cities across the UK to facilitate programme delivery.

• Facilitating regular online ‘meet ups’ for Shine service users from across the country.

2. Programme administration:

• Managing programme applications from application to enrolment on the programme.

• Conducting pre-programme discussions with applicants, ensuring they know what to expect from the programmes, answering questions they may have, and keeping relevant, confidential notes.

• Sharing upcoming programmes with other charity contacts and/or healthcare professionals.

• Working with other members of the Shine team to oversee programme-related administration

• Assist in maintaining databases of confidential participant data.

• Responding to enquiries from programme participants throughout the course of the programmes and beyond.

Evaluation and Reporting:

• Supporting the Programme Delivery Manager to conduct programme evaluations to assess effectiveness and impact.

• Analysis of monitoring data.

• Drawing on qualitative and quantitative feedback to create resources and case studies to further promote the programmes.

Person Specification

Essential:

• Experience of leading groups, facilitating group conversations or delivering education.

• Willingness/ability to support the needs of a diverse range of individuals.

• Strong organisation and project management skills, and the ability to deliver and respond to challenges.

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

• Ability to use data and evidence to monitor key performance indicators, helping to make informed decisions on the programmes.

• Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with empathy to members of the Shine community.

• Excellent IT skills, including solid knowledge of Word and Excel.

Desirable:

• Experience of working in, or with lived experience of, healthcare environments.

• Experience in a caring or pastoral role

• Experience of supporting the administration of programmes or events.

• Knowledge of online databases and software including Canva, Dot Digital, Asana and Salesforce.

• Experience of managing projects remotely, including using tools such as Trello and/or Asana.

About the Role

Deliver an excellent catering service

• Working to TH EHO guidelines and SFBB, ensure food is prepared and work is carried out by us and to the standard of Tower Hamlets Food Standards including: risk assessment, food safety, equipment maintenance, cleaning, disposal of catering waste and liaising with Tower Hamlets Environmental Health where necessary.
• Maximise recycling of waste wherever possible.
• Responsible for the ordering and delivery of food and consumables.
• Work to agreed catering budget reporting monthly as required.
• Ensure food is prepared, presented and served to the highest possible standard.
• Manage staff involved in the provision of catering activities to ensure safe working practices.
• Work with the Head of Learning & Training to keep up to date with all regulations and good practice relating to catering and ensure this is implemented.
• Develop relationships, alongside fundraising, with local food retailers to increase in-kind donations and provide support reduce our annual food bill.

Deliver our multi award-winning Catering Trainee Scheme

• Prepare the kitchen, collect the ingredients and start the lunch service by coordinating and supervising a small group of trainees with varying support needs.
• Liaise with the Employability Coordinator to provide an effective training to trainees involved in the lunch service.
• Provide clear, honest feedback to trainees about their conduct and performance, liaising with specialist workers around support needs.
• Identify further specific training needs for trainees and support them to achieve their goals.
• Ensure there is a rota in place which provides a variety of tasks and experiences for trainees.

Manage people and participants

• Work with the Volunteering Development Manager to induct, retain and manage the team of volunteers to support the production of food at Providence Row.
• Manage the chef including recruitment, induction and ongoing support.
• Work with the Fundraising Team to engage groups of Corporate Volunteers in Corporate Challenges within the kitchen setting 2 times per week.

Participate in planning, monitoring and evaluation, and other responsibilities

• Participate in the charity’s planning processes to support the delivery of Providence Row’s 5 year strategy.  This includes in particular all catering based activities in the charity. 
• Participate in the creation and implementation of monitoring and evaluation processes for all cooking activities, complying with funding requirements.

The role involves working in multi-agency settings in Camden and Islington, working in partnership with existing delivery structures, local networks and developing collective practices. Navigators are able to manage their own their own time, working flexibly on the go, including some working from home.

The Navigator will carry a caseload of 10 client who are rough sleeping and experiencing multiple disadvantage, and will provide end-to-end holistic, coordinated support for each individual, from first contact in a street setting through to helping them to achieve a more settled and fulfilled lifestyle.

Navigators will provide personalised solutions which demonstrate innovation, creativity as well as iterative learning.

The approach taken with clients will be psychologically informed, incorporating an understanding of acute mental health conditions, complex trauma, and addiction.

As a Navigator, you will provide support such as:

•  Assessing their needs and identifying their goals.
•  Helping them to find and maintain suitable accommodation.
•  Supporting them to access health, social care, and mental health services.
•  Assisting them to apply for benefits, grants, and other entitlements.
•  Linking them with education, training, and employment opportunities.
•  Empowering them to develop their skills, confidence, and resilience.
•  Advocating for them with other agencies and professionals.
•  Providing crisis intervention and harm reduction advice.

Please note: We will also be considering applicants from this vacancy for a permanent Navigator position for one of our Services in Hackney. This role is permanent but paid at a different salary banding starting at £30,342.85 and rising incrementally to £33,228.99 per annum.

• Previous experience of working with either rough sleepers or people with complex mental health, alcohol or substance use support needs.
