Responsibilities of our Corporate Partnerships Development Manager:

• The Corporate Partnerships Development Manager will play a key role at Cats Protection by raising new and transformational funds in support of the organisation’s 10-year strategic objectives. The role will lead the Corporate Partnerships new business team, to build profitable, multiyear relationships with companies, ensuring propositions are maximised and new partners onboarded to the highest standards.
• Working closely with the Lead Corporate Partnerships Manager and Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships this role will engage Cats Protection senior stakeholders and senior volunteers in cultivation, solicitation and onboarding of prospects.

About the Corporate Partnerships team:

• We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate
• Our dynamic Corporate Partnerships team is divided into new business and account management, focusing on developing and nurturing long-term, strategic partnerships that deliver mutual benefits. We take a proactive approach to identifying opportunities with UK-based companies while working closely with internal stakeholders across all levels to ensure successful collaboration.

You will join our Grant Making directorate to help us to meet our mission to partner with small and local charities, people and communities working towards a more just and compassionate society.

Foxglove is a litigation and campaigning nonprofit that exists to make the use of technology fair. When governments and major tech companies use technology to abuse their power, we investigate, litigate and campaign to make it right. 

Big Tech companies have become so large – gobbling up a huge slice of the global marketplace and an unprecedented treasure hoard of user data – that they’re now more powerful than many states. The harmful effects of this concentration of power are everywhere – threats to our democracy, to our privacy, decimated workers’ rights and platforms rife with disinformation and hate. Governments are ploughing ahead with the use of algorithms and mass data systems to cut costs and increase efficiency often resulting in digital tools that entrench unfairness and leave the most vulnerable in society in crisis. We’ve launched landmark cases seeking structural changes to big tech’s harmful business models, supported 180+ Facebook content moderators fired for trying to form a union to sue Facebook and their outsourcing company, Sama – winning world-first judgements. We helped launch Africa’s first content moderators' union and are urging UK and EU regulators to halt Big Tech’s maneuvers to hoover up generative AI as it has the rest of our online world. We have forced disclosure of secret contracts between tech giants and the NHS, stopped a racist Home Office visa streaming algorithm, helped make grading fair for UK A level students, forced the government to pause the NHS Data Grab and challenged the Department of Work and Pension’s use of an algorithm unfairly flagging disabled people for benefit fraud investigations.

We are a small but growing team of lawyers, communications experts, and campaigners. Our work is global, and we work in partnership with lawyers, civil society, unions, and impacted people. 

About you

You are an experienced lawyer with a strong interest in using the law to hold governments and companies to account. You understand change doesn’t only take place within the walls of the court and that movements only succeed when they’re inclusive, making as many people as possible see they have a stake in these issues. You are a self-starter with the initiative to find opportunities, but the team-spiritedness to contribute to a shared goal and celebrate others’ work. The role

The post holder will be responsible for managing Foxglove’s legal team and legal work. You will drive forward a range of cases, including the development of case theories, investigating and collecting evidence, drafting correspondence, evidence and submissions. You will also be responsible for coordinating and managing external legal teams. UK and international travel is required.

Person Specification

Essential 

• A strong interest in using the law to hold government and companies to account. 
• Qualified lawyer in any jurisdiction with at least senior legal experience.

Length and Salary

The role is permanent. The annual salary is £70,075 per annum less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance. 

Our team works remotely, and this role can be based anywhere. We would prefer you to work within or close to UK office hours, but this is flexible. Our team travels every two months for team days and twice a year for team retreats. Malaria No More UK is looking for a highly motivated Advocacy Officer to join our team and help implement our advocacy strategies. Working to support our UK advocacy team, you will help to cultivate a new generation of malaria champions and push malaria up the political agenda. Role Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team of Regional Managers, where you will work in partnership with employers and schools to deliver our impactful programme.

There will be opportunities to be creative, as well as being autonomous in how you run and develop the programme with the Career Ready schools and colleges in your area.

This is an exciting role joining a Programme Team of 15 staff based throughout the UK. You will work closely and collaborate with the other Network Managers and share some priorities across regions, working to develop the region as a whole. The purpose of this role is to facilitate good relationships between the mentors and mentees in the region. 70-80% of the role is about relationship building (with schools, mentors and partners), coordination and the tracking/ administration of those relationships. 15-20% of the role is direct delivery with the girls in the region.

Mentoring programme

THE ROLE

The Fundraising Manager (Partnerships) role is a fantastic opportunity to lead on developing partnerships with The Girls’ Network's corporate and public sector supporters. The programme is well established with £170,000 worth of partners already on board. There is an opportunity to put your own stamp on the work, developing new collateral and ideas for excellent partnerships. The role is within our Fundraising & Communications team of four staff and works in collaboration with regional Senior Network Managers. There is an opportunity for the post holder to collaborate with the Fundraising Manager (Trusts and Foundations) on the development of grant applications.

Key roles and responsibilities

Income generation

• Primary focus of the role is to manage a portfolio of £170,000 worth of corporate partners and public sector organisations, to meet annual income targets and provide an excellent supporter experience.
• Develop compelling funding propositions and case for support to meet priorities, working closely with colleagues in Fundraising & Communications, Programmes and Monitoring, Research, Evaluation & Learning (MERL).
• Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of prospects through research and excellent record keeping (using SalesForce), ensuring that applications are made to meet known deadlines.
• Collaborate with Network Managers on regional corporate partnerships, ensuring a consistent and good supporter experience and identifying opportunities for development.
• Ensure that all reporting and grant monitoring is delivered in a timely manner, working closely with the MERL Manager and colleagues across Programmes.
• Oversee calendar of third-party events, liaising with external partners and ensuring appropriate TGN involvement.

Stewardship

• Develop data management processes, ensuring timely impact reporting or other agreed deliverables.
• Ensure all donations and supporters are thanked in a timely and appropriate mode to their giving channel.
• Keep all relevant donor and financial information up-to-date on Salesforce, ensuring adherence to GDPR and other relevant good practice, as defined by the Fundraising Regulator and other sector bodies.
