The Role
Work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to implement donor segmentation, build on supporter stewardship and appeal strategies for mid-level and high value individuals.
Identify potential major donors and approach them for support in an appropriate and GDPR compliant manner.
Produce compelling written funding proposals, give verbal presentations and make face to face asks as part of donor solicitation.
Support with the creation and implementation of a legacy and in memory strategy.
The Candidate
Ability to think strategically to identify potential donors, prioritise efforts and develop effective fundraising strategies, including analysing data, assessing donor potential and adapting approaches based on feedback and results.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain donor relationships and understand donor motivations and interests.
Strong written skills with an ability to craft compelling and personalised proposals, with a meticulous attention to detail.

Coram Parenting and Creative Therapy Service

Coram Parenting and Creative Therapy Service offers art, music and drama therapy, therapeutic parenting, clinical psychology and family therapy to children and families at our dedicated creative therapies centre and in schools. We work primarily with adoptive and connected carer families, and children who have low level mental health difficulties. We are a trauma-informed service and have specialist expertise in neuro-diversity and children with special education needs. The well-established team has a strong track record in therapeutic interventions, including music therapy, art therapy and narrative therapy based multi-family groups for younger children who are adopted or with a Special Guardianship Order. We have a purpose built therapy building and have recently built a music studio for our adolescent work. About the role
We are seeking an experienced HCPC qualified Music Therapist to provide leadership, supervision and management of music therapists and other creative therapists in the service. You will carry out therapeutic multi-disciplinary assessments and music therapy interventions with adopted and Special Guardianship Order families. This work involves trauma informed approaches, family work and life story work. - To create a sustainable legacy pipeline for St Christopher’s and to ensure that legacy increases and continues to be the lifeblood of our voluntary income.
- Managing the Legacy Administration Officer and overseeing all legacy administration activity to optimise legacy income and ensure all gifts in wills left to the hospice are managed in accordance with relevant legislation and internal practises and maximise legacy income for the hospice.

Look Ahead is looking for a highly motivated and committed Housing & Income Officer for an initial 6-month placement to work alongside our support workers and deliver a good quality intensive housing management service to our customers.
The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of housing management within the service. This will include rent arrears management, occupancy agreement management, ASB management, void management and some compliance and repair reporting responsibilities. This is not an exclusive list.

* Ensure all customers are supported to have the most appropriate payment method (rent payment cards, direct debit etc.) for their individual circumstances to ensure easy payment of their rent and/or arrears.
* Lead on making back-dated claims for housing benefit and appealing over-payment deductions.
* Ensure that all customers are kept informed of their rent account status regularly and that action plans are agreed with customers to address any arrears or other rent related issues promptly.

- Experience of monitoring rent accounts and managing rent arrears
- Experience of using computerised rent systems to monitor arrears and record information.
- Ability to track and manage void properties and ASB cases.
- Knowledge of managing ASB and lettings and be able to explain good practice in this area.
- Extensive knowledge of welfare benefits, especially housing benefit.
- Experience of liaising with housing benefit departments, the DWP and other external agencies.
- Confidence in interpreting rent accounts and using IT packages to run and create reports, identify priorities, and update records.

The TUC is looking for a Management Accountant to support the management accounts team in financial planning and analysis and business partnering while we move to a new finance system.
What qualifications, experience, skills, and knowledge do you need?

Professional accounting qualification, or part-qualified with significant relevant experience, skills, and knowledge.

Experience working in the management accounting team of a not-for-profit organisation.

This is a temporary (9 month), full time vacancy

The role of an IDVA is to address the safety of victims and survivors at high risk of harm. IDVAs work with their customers from the point of crisis by safety planning and risk assessing using the DASH to ascertain the level of risk to the victim. They will also raise awareness of male domestic abuse with partners and within the community.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

What you'll do:
Look Ahead IDVAs have the personal qualities required to manage customer expectations alongside the responsibilities of their role. Day to day IDVA activities include:
Manage client referrals, completing Dash Risk Assessments and obtaining and maintaining all relevant paperwork
Building supportive, trusting relationships with clients and creating a positive atmosphere
Knowledge of the criminal justice system. Understanding of Marac protocols
Regular attendance at Marac and completion of all Marac referrals
Support Customers to obtain Non Molestation Orders where needed and any other civil remedies available to them
Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
Attending all court and Case Management hearings with or as a representative for clients.
Supporting clients to set personalised goals in the form of a Safety and Support Plan.
Assisting in the recording and reporting of customer incidents
Creating a safety plan with clients
Developing productive relationships with partner organisations to improve service outcomes
Adhering to lone working protocols and maintaining high levels of awareness in relation to the health and safety of yourself and colleagues
Encouraging customers to attend relevant programmes when appropriate i.e Own My Life
Ensuring Look Ahead Health and Safety policies and local protocols are adhered to at all times e.g. fire risk assessments, fire alarm checks etc
Adhering to all other Look Ahead's policies and procedures
Engaging in learning and development activity to increase knowledge and skills
Undertaking any other duties consistent with the grade and nature of the post as assigned by the Service Team Leader
