• Managing individual giving activity – including activities such asregular giving, one-off donations and appeals, digital fundraising and payroll giving
• Developing and implementing a supporter engagement programme – create a multi-channel communication programme to optimise supporter retention and deepen engagement
• Leading on supporter appeals - working with other function leads to ensure activity is integrated and optimised
• Managing challenge event activity - including promoting and allocating National Eczema Society Gold Bond places in key events
• General management activities – such as budgeting, planning, strategy development

About the role:

We are looking to appoint an experienced Philanthropy Manager to proactively lead the cultivation and stewardship of potential and existing major donors, trusts and statutory bodies, with a particular focus on driving significant income growth.

Age UK Islington is developing a new befriending service in the coming months. As part of this development, we have an exciting opportunity for a part-time role as a Befriending Coordinator.

This will involve supporting all aspects of service development, partnership building, volunteer recruitment, training and management and matching volunteers to clients for home visits, telephone befriending and/or activity-based befriending. Camden Kaleidoscope, located in London, is an innovative, specialist-supported accommodation service focusing on mental health and complex needs. As a Service Manager you will lead a dedicated team to provide trauma-informed mental health support to young people between ages 16-24, an understanding and/or experience of trauma-informed practice would be advantageous. Could you be a part time Caseworker - Young People for vulnerable young people aged between 16 to 25 years? Could you give them the support and guidance they need to get back on their feet and live independently?

The young people we work with have become homeless for a number of reasons – isolation or mental ill health, abusive relationships, substance misuse, involvement in gangs/county lines - their issues are complex so you will need to be able to build strong, trusting relationships so that our customers feel safe and supported. 

We have a part time opportunity for a Caseworker - Young People, at our Ofsted registered scheme in St Albans which provides temporary housing for young people who are experiencing homelessness. 

A bit about the role:

As a part time Caseworker - Young People, you will be working with a team of highly motivated, compassionate, and dedicated colleagues supporting a caseload of young customers with complex needs. You’ll need to meet each customer weekly to help them with their goals and discuss their progress. And, when someone’s ready to move on, we'll rely on you to help them access the housing register or look for suitable rented accommodation.

What we’re looking for:

You may have worked with vulnerable young people in a paid or voluntary capacity, maybe as a Youth Worker or in an education setting providing pastoral care. You’re a great relationship builder, who can create trust so that our young people feel comfortable sharing their issues with you, you listen but in a non-judgemental way and you are able to spot signs for concern and act on them.

You’ll also need to be able to work on your own, sometimes dealing with challenging situations and diffusing them to avoid escalation. Is this you?

About the Masonic Charitable Foundation

We are looking for a new Policy Adviser to help deliver ambitious leadership for the environment primarily within our resources theme. You will play an important role in undertaking research and analysis on our key themes, particularly in relation to resources. Your work will play a significant part in endorsing and supporting Green Alliance policy findings and will help to influence and promote debate and discussion around our key policy areas such as resources, climate, the green economy and natural environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be an organised project manager able to build effective relationships both inside and outside the organisation. Strong communications skills are essential and you should be able to create engaging, impactful communications that are tailored for specific audiences. These may take many forms including reports, briefings, articles, blogs, consultation responses and other communications materials to support our policy findings. 

You will be part of the policy team, reporting directly to the head of resources policy. You will work closely with and liaise with colleagues at all levels within the organization. As a collaborative organization you should enjoy working with a range of different people in different areas.  

The nature of the role means that you will need to be both a self-starter able to plan and manage your own time and priorities well as well as an effective team player able to adapt to these changing requirements with ease.

Ideally you will possess a thorough knowledge of UK policy processes and have experience of policy research and analysis and the ability to rapidly synthesise information and make recommendations for a policy audience.

The WaterAid Leadership and Engagement team is responsible for facilitating high levels of performance across WaterAid, through the development of integrated leadership, learning, engagement and internal communications strategies.

About the Role:
As our detail-oriented and problem-solving Leadership and Engagement Co-ordinator you will provide high quality co-ordination, administration and project support to the Leadership & Engagement Team.

In this role, you will:

• Co-ordinate logistics and provide administrative support for our learning, management and leadership programmes across WaterAid, including co-ordinating participant lists and invitations, logistical and travel administration, collation and production of materials, booking meetings, gathering and analysing evaluation data and other associated tasks.
• Provide administration of our learning management system (LMS), including managing users and all other LMS administration including setting up new starters and generating course completion reports.
• Provide administrative support for the pro bono coaching programme.
• Provide administrative support for psychometric assessments and 360-degree feedback including setting up assessments and managing responses.
• Monitor the Learning inbox and respond to and escalate queries as appropriate.
• Process invoices and expenses, ensuring complete and accessible records and reports on reasons for variances and provide cover for the Internal Communications and Engagement Officer.
• Provide contract management support ensuring compliance and best practice including the upload and registration of all Leadership and Engagement Team contracts on to WaterAid's contract register.
• Maintain Leadership and Learning pages on the global intranet.
• Support and update the global induction, keeping online resources up to date and supporting local People Teams with their local inductions. Project manage the global induction programme for senior leaders.
• Book, support and contribute to in person and virtual team meetings.
• Update & maintain learning resources and team files ensuring effective filing systems and GDPR compliance for the Leadership and Engagement Team through data cleansing and maintaining data security and integrity.
• Collaboratively work across the Leadership and Engagement Team, providing support and cross cover when necessary, including ensuring that all new team members are fully inducted and have access to and can use all relevant systems.

About You:

• Proven experience in providing excellent co-ordination and administration support to a team or an individual - including diary management and organisational skills.
• To be brilliantly organised and motivated by the desire to support others to be effective and efficient in their work.  
• Strong time management and prioritisation skills with the tenacity to problem solve.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• To be a good listener with great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) including across geographical and cultural boundaries.
• A flexible and pro-active approach to work including the ability to identify and manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Digital literacy with good IT Skills and ability to use Office 365 tools of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint and set up virtual meetings on MS Teams.

• The ability to work calmly under pressure and drive tasks through to completion.
• A positive, outgoing, helpful disposition and a team player, able to work in a collaborative and adaptable way.

• Experience in learning and development administration.

• Experience or knowledge of the development sector.
