As an Evaluation and Learning Manager you will lead on ensuring that rigorous evidence is  systematically used to drive impact for people living in Lambeth and Southwark and  to advance the emerging field of urban health. To achieve these aims, we provide expertise, set standards and lead the design and development of approaches to be increasingly rigorous and consistent, whilst pragmatic. We work closely with colleagues across several teams as well as external providers, and need to design our approaches thoughtfully, whilst keeping up momentum and focus. You will be skilled in multiple stakeholder management and have demonstrated ability to implement and improve meaningful evaluation and learning for complex and experimental interventions and programmes. 

Key Responsibilities

Impact on Urban Health  

• Lead on providing technical evaluation and learning advice and  support to Programme Colleagues  and our funded partners for the Health Effects of Air Pollution and Children’s Health and Food programmes, with guidance from the Head of Programme Evaluation. 
• Ensure evaluation and learning activity within programmes  meets the strategic objectives of each programme, and is high-quality, equitable and inclusive. 
• Work closely with programme and influencing colleagues to  ensure that evaluation and learning approaches within each programmeare designed with our internal and external evidence needs in mind, so that insights are useful for both internal decision making and external influencing. 
• Advice  programme teams  on the commissioning and effective management of external  evaluation and learning partner support. 
• In collaboration with the Learning team, support programme teams with developing and implementing  evaluation learning practices, so that insights inform internal decision making and external influencing. 
• In collaboration with Data, Evaluation and Learning team colleagues, build the evaluation and learning skills and capabilities of programme colleagues.  

Evaluation and Learning Team responsibilities 

• Co-ordinate and contribute to  the development of evaluation and learning tools  resources and systems. 
• Lead and  support team initiatives as appropriate, such as networks of external partners focused on sharing learning. 
• Support cross-programmatic evaluation and learning alignment across Impact on Urban Health. 
• Develop personal expertise in urban health evidence. 
• Play an active role in staying up to date on evaluation and learning methodologies and approaches.

Your new role

About the Role

The charity’s mission is to make data work for nature. The Better Biodiversity Data (BBD+1) programme is a bold new step towards transforming how biodiversity data is managed, accessed and used to support conservation, planning and policy decisions in Scotland.

As the new Data and Digital Services Manager, you’ll play a vital role in implementing and supporting a new, shared biodiversity data system developed with and for Scotland’s biodiversity community. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role where you will:

Role and Responsibilities

· Managing a caseload of legacy gifts: This includes pecuniary, residuary and life interest legacies, ensuring IFAW receives its full entitlement in a timely manner. This may include a small selection of contentious cases.

· Working closely with solicitors, executors, and beneficiaries: You’ll provide accurate and sensitive support throughout the probate process, building trust and ensuring a smooth experience for all parties involved.

· Maintaining meticulous records and reports: You’ll ensure accurate financial and contact records are kept, reports are generated on time, and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements is met.

· Providing recommendations for action: You’ll provide your suggestions to move forward any legacy case where action needs to be sanctioned by management or Trustees, or where there may be a risk to the charity's reputation.

· Assisting with monthly/annual reconciliation and audit: This includes following our financial rules to make appropriate accruals, adjustments, and provide audit-ready case files.

· Liasing with other teams within IFAW: When appropriate, you’ll work collaboratively with other teams, such as Finance, Donor Relations or the Legal team, to ensure a seamless process for legacy gifts, and to promote the legacy team’s recognition and standing in the organisation through internal engagement.

· Staying up to date on relevant legislation and best practices: You’ll be a member of the ILM and regularly keep abreast of changes in the world on legacy case management, to ensure IFAW’s legacy administration remains efficient and compliant.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· At least 1 year of experience in legacy administration or estate management: You’ll have a strong understanding of probate laws, Wills, trust, and estate administration. Experience of using FirstClass is desirable.

· Achieved or willing to work towards certification: You have or will work towards gaining the ILM’s Certificate in Charity Legacy Administration (CiCLA).

Being a Switchback Mentor is a unique opportunity to build transformative relationships with young men leaving prison in London.

Are you passionate about working 1-to-1 with young prison-leavers from a variety of backgrounds; many of whom are from marginalised communities, to help them lead more stable, rewarding lives?

As a Switchback Mentor, you will play a vital role in transforming the lives of young prison leavers, helping them break free from the justice system and build stable, rewarding futures. You will be responsible for building your own caseload by engaging directly with young men in prison and providing intensive support after their release. In addition to working with those you meet in prison; you will also support Trainees referred to the programme after they have already been released.

About the Role 

As an IDVA at Respond, you will provide high-quality, trauma-informed advocacy to survivors of domestic abuse, ensuring their safety and empowering them to rebuild their lives. You will conduct risk assessments (DASH), develop safety plans, and work closely with agencies such as social services, police, and housing. You will also play a key role in raising awareness and improving support for neurodivergent survivors. 

What You’ll Do 

Provide specialist, person-centred advocacy for survivors with learning disabilities and autism. 

 Undertake risk assessments and safety planning to enhance survivor well-being. 
Represent survivors at MARAC and multi-agency meetings, advocating for their needs. 
Work closely with social services, health professionals, and the criminal justice system. 
Deliver training and consultation to professionals on supporting neurodivergent survivors. 
Ensure accurate case management and uphold safeguarding responsibilities. 

What We’re Looking For 

IDVA qualification OR significant domestic abuse advocacy experience. 
Understanding of domestic abuse, coercive control, and trauma-informed practice. 
Experience working with survivors of domestic abuse, particularly those with learning disabilities and autism. 
Strong advocacy, case management, and multi-agency working skills. 
Ability to adapt communication styles to support neurodivergent clients. 
Knowledge of MARAC, safeguarding, and legal frameworks for domestic abuse cases.

Recovery Coordinator Location: London, DA8 1RQ Salary: £26,250 - £34,650 per annum ’s vision is to break down the barriers that stop people getting the support they need to live a life they value. They tackle poverty and disadvantage in communities, through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing and related support. They have almost 200 services around England – and nearly 3,500 amazing staff and volunteers who run them. Every year their services support around 125,000 people. The Role As a member of the multi disciplinary  team, you will be running a variety of peer support groups as well as working with service users one-on-one in order to build their recovery capital and achieve their recovery goals. They aim to help people to build and sustain long-term recovery from addiction and encourage self-efficacy believing that everyone is an expert in themselves, they often need a helping hand on their journey. The team consists of 7 Recovery Coordinators and 1 Trainee Recovery Coordinators working alongside 2 Criminal Justice RC's. The role will be based at  Erith health centre, which is a drug and alcohol service for people over the age of 18 in Bexley. It is ran by SLAM and focus' on psychosocial  interventions working within prison and probation services. They are seeking a positive and motivated individuals who have the ability to navigate a fast-paced and challenging client group with a variety of complex needs.  Direct substance use knowledge is not essential but preferred, and they encourage applications from those with transferrable skills and experience. You will be expected to: Manage a service user caseload, devising, implementing and reviewing on-going recovery plans and treatment, liaising closely with the full range of workers and skills within the service team, including family members and significant others as appropriate. Carry out triage/screening assessments and comprehensive assessments with service users. Work collaboratively with partner agencies to undertake shared assessments, key working and interventions to promote individual service user progression from engagement, through structured treatment to self-sustained recovery. Facilitate service user access to treatment and community resources to increase recovery and social capital, supporting service users and their families within their local community. Develop and deliver quality programs and packages of work/ psychosocial interventions that meet local need across both group work and one to one formats.
