Since it was founded in 1963, the organisation has run over 78 fundraising appeals and raised more than £2.4 billion to help save lives and protect livelihoods in disaster-affected communities around the world.

This role is offered on a permanent contract basis paying a salary of £40,560 per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements available at their London office.

The Direct Marketing Manager (Acquisition) is responsible for delivering key direct marketing activities during appeals for major disasters or emergencies. The post holder will work closely with the Head of Public Fundraising and relevant staff to develop and deliver direct marketing in appeals. They will work with the Public Fundraising team to utilise a large database of supporters for communication by email, SMS, and direct mail. They will identify new fundraising channels and ideas for increasing the impact of income generation. The post holder will also lead the benchmarking process of Member Agency fundraising performance following each appeal Period of Joint Action (PJA).

They are looking for someone with demonstrable direct marketing experience with a focus on high volume donor acquisition. They are looking for a candidate with a demonstrable experience of direct marketing techniques such as direct mail, email and SMS. They are looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of developing effective digital and direct marketing strategies, which resulted in significant growth of income. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of direct marketing initiatives in an International Development context and experience of working within the international sector.

More in Common is seeking a full-time Research and Data Analyst as we grow our team and advance our mission of building a more united and inclusive UK, where all people feel respected, better understood, and share a sense of belonging. The Analyst will serve as a key member of the UK team, supporting our core areas of research, communications, partnership, and client work. Analysis

• Translating public opinion data into insights for diverse audiences including policymakers, media, and the general public

At Endometriosis UK, we are passionate about driving political change for the 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth living with endometriosis in the UK. This role will play an instrumental role in supporting the campaigns and policy function within the wider Communications Team.

This will be a busy, varied and important role working closely with the Policy and Public Affairs Manager and Head of Campaigns and Communications to provide administration and wider support for the charity’s growing policy and campaigns function. This will include contributing to the production of government consultation responses, writing letters to politicians, producing background briefings ahead of parliamentary meetings and taking responsibility for political monitoring and informing the team of any engagement opportunities. A key part of the role will also be providing administration support for the policy function of the charity and the Head of Communications and Campaigns, including administrative support for the All-Party-Parliamentary Group on Endometriosis which Endometriosis UK provides secretariat support for. About the role:

· Provide psychotherapy sessions on outreach in Newham.

· Flexible approach to meeting vulnerable clients.

· Deliver specialised outreach psychotherapy to individuals in Newham, focusing particularly on those who are or have been rough sleepers.

· Work collaboratively with Street Outreach Response Teams and other specialist agencies.

· Offer both formal psychotherapy sessions and informal support, adapting to clients' needs in terms of scheduling and locations.

· Conduct street shifts alongside the commissioned Outreach Service, introducing and promoting our service to potential clients.

· Support individuals transitioning into emergency, temporary, or long-term accommodation.

In order to support the achievement of these aims, the outreach psychotherapist will be responsible for:

Manage a caseload of 12 clients per week, attend MDTs, attend team meetings, attend any mandatory multidisciplinary meetings. The candidate will be expected to attend CPD, which will be organised by the candidate themselves, while Providence Row offers a generous budget of £1500 per annum.

Our legitimacy to advocate for change, with policy makers and NHS organisations, comes from our research projects, our engagement with patients and their families, and from our direct support of patients through our information service and peer-support activities. We have an immediate need for a Coordinator for our Priority Setting Partnership (PSP) Project, working remotely, for 1.5 days a week, to oversee the administration of the project. 

This is an exciting time to join the project, as we are ready to send out a survey. • Provide strategic financial insights to the Head of Finance and senior management
• Ensure financial systems and processes align with donor requirements and project needs
• Assist with preparing funding applications and donor reports
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reconciliation of expenses
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support for campaigns and projects

Ideal candidate profile:

• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and financial ERP systems such as Sage Intacct
• At least 3 years' post-qualification experience (ACCA or equivalent) with strong financial analysis and forecasting skills
• Proven ability to manage non-profit budgets, grants, and donor compliance
• Experience handling project finances across multiple partners and international teams
• Confident preparing financial records for audit and liaising with auditors
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Charity SORP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience in managing risk and financial controls for project funds
• Awareness of changing financial regulations and donor requirements

Location: Angel, Islington 

Salary: £43,000 - £48,000 per annum + benefits 

Working hours: Full Time

Working Pattern: Hybrid (at least 2 days in the office, more expected during probation and induction period)

The Black Researcher Consortium is a newly formed community interest company (C.I.C.), designed, developed and built by people with Black heritage, for people with Black heritage. The Consortium objects are to address the systemic under-representation of Black researchers across educational institutions, research organisations, government, and industry environments in collaboration with Black researchers, Black-led community initiatives and all those bridging the systemic gap, connecting Black researchers.

As the Chair, you will be responsible for overseeing appraisal process for board members and consortium director.

Main Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the Board in ensuring it fulfils its responsibilities for the governance of the Consortium
• Work in partnership with any executive directors
• Carry out an annual appraisal of the Executive Directors
• Chair the Board meetings and Annual General Meeting
• Represent the Consortium at events and on other related boards or working parties

Essentials:

• Prior experience as a Chair
• Ability to adopt an inclusive chairing style

Monthly working pattern: 4 board meetings, 1-2 strategy days, and committee meetings, amounting to 3 days a month.
