The role

As Corporate Partnerships Executive you will be responsible for raising the profile of the Charity in Shropshire and Herefordshire and building relationships with Corporate companies across the counties.

You will be responsible for developing a Corporate pipeline as well as nurturing existing long lasting corporate relationships. You will be working with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to deliver the fundraising strategy and grow income too.

About You

As a Corporate Partnership Executive we would love you to have experience of the following;

• Experience of building and maintaining successful relationships with customers, clients and/or supporters
• Sales or income generation experience
• Experience of coordinating tasks, people, and activities
• Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams and with a range of stakeholders
• Experience of general office administration
• Experience of communicating with a wide range of audiences
• Experience of working unsupervised with the ability to drive and generate own workload.
• Public speaking
• Understanding of corporate CSR and ESG polices will be beneficial

Although some fundraising experience would be desirable, this really could be the role for you if you are wanting to move into a career within the third sector.

This role is home based within Shropshire or Herefordshire. There will be some travel across the regions and to the Head Office for meetings. As the Executive Assistant you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the CEO and other senior leadership members. Experience:

• Experience supporting senior leadership, including CEOs, Executive Directors, or board members.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex, sensitive tasks and manage competing priorities.

Skills & Abilities:

The Policy Officer will be key to helping the Joint Policy Unit achieve these objectives.

The role-holder will support the unit in delivering on our programme of policy work, and to support our external engagement so that saving babies’ lives is a key part of NHS/government policy across the UK. The role-holder will play a lead role in supporting the unit’s responses to government consultations and inquiries, and engagement with new strategies and plans for the health service.

We are looking for someone with an understanding of the policy environment, ability to analyse policy and develop high-quality written outputs. You will be a great communicator with the ability to  translate insights into clear messages for different audiences (e.g. policymakers, stakeholders, supporters and the public).

Experience of leading and managing projects is essential for this role, as is a clear understanding of the relationship between research, policy and practice. About the Role

As a passionate professional in the identification, development and management of a wide range of relationships in support of our programme partnership, you will ensure the Career Ready programme in Glasgow and West areas (currently Inverclyde, West Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire and South Lanarkshire) continues to thrive, which includes securing charitable donations from supporting partners. About The Role

Alzheimer’s Society Local Services teams provide exceptional support, information, advice and guidance for people affected by dementia.  As a Regional Manager, you will be home based, leading and inspiring geographically dispersed teams across a large region, whilst working as part of a wider Services Management Team.  The areas you will be responsible for are Cheshire, Merseyside, Isle of Man, and Lancashire and South Cumbria. There are several contracts and funded services within the region, delivered by a large team.
Your role will be to provide strong leadership and management of our dementia support services.  You will be accountable for the delivery of services that meet internal and external quality requirements. You will work collaboratively to build relationships and engage external stakeholders, including Local Authorities and Health colleagues and Commissioners within an Integrated Care System setting. Influencing for system level changes whilst ensuring strong contract management is a critical part of the role.

About you

Our passionate Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the Regional Office, assessing needs and allocating the case to one of our volunteer caseworkers. 

You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. You will have the opportunity to shape processes and procedures within the office which will lead to improvements in the service offered to clients.

To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA. 

Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the South West region in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire or Somerset. There will be occasional travel around the South West Region, and you will be required to travel for quarterly face to face team meetings. 

About the team 

The team work remotely and pride themselves in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with volunteers from the eight SSAFA branches in the South West, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a larger team of 10, which includes two Regional Casework Managers and a Regional Operations Manager. 

About you 

To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.

 It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across the South West would be valuable

People living with Parkinson's need to have their voice heard in Northern Ireland to ensure their health and care needs are met.  Following an investment in our services, support and work with the NHS, we are also expanding our campaigning and policy work across Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK.

We’re looking for someone special with experience of campaigning, including an understanding of its basic tools and techniques, experience of interpreting complex policy issues for a public audience, and knowledge of the Northern Irish political and public policy landscape.

You’ll support our national and local campaigning work across Northern Ireland to improve the lives of people with Parkinson’s and those closest to them. You’ll work with  our community to raise awareness and increase knowledge about Parkinson’s with decision makers at a local and national level. You’ll use your knowledge of public policy in Northern Ireland and the UK to make sure that the voices of people with Parkinson’s, their partners, family members and friends are heard, and help to drive changes that improve their lives.

• Be a first point of contact for campaigners in Northern Ireland, who want to improve services in their local area, and recruit and manage a sustainable network of local campaign volunteers specific to Northern Ireland.
• Support the work of the Policy and Campaigns Manager to understand and influence UK wide and specific NI legislation, policy and practice relating to our communities and their needs
• Provide expert advice and support to colleagues and campaigners on how best to influence decision makers in Northern Ireland.
• Use our UK-wide campaign priorities to deliver national and local campaign activity, and coordinate campaigns with other charities and organisations, where appropriate to further our goals.

What you’ll bring:

PAT is a UK-wide charity that inspires and enables volunteers to share the joy of their pets. Every day over 4,000 people in hospitals, care homes or schools get to meet a PAT Dog or Cat. That brief visit brings the comfort and joy that only a pet can give.  Over the past few years, income has increased from circa £600k to circa £1.5 million. They are now looking to diversify their income portfolio, reaching new audiences and ensuring long term, sustainable income.

This new role of Head of Fundraising, reporting to the CEO, will lead PAT’s fundraising and marketing work. Alongside implementing the fundraising strategy for PAT, you will personally lead the individual giving program. The post holder will also be a member of the PAT SMT (Senior Management Team).

Key Responsibilities:

• Grow income through implementing the new fundraising strategy
• Diversify income streams to give sustainable growth
• Build the capability and capacity of the fundraising team, currently 3 direct reports
• Develop a program of individual giving
• Increase the profile and awareness of PAT

Key experience:

• Managing small, high performing teams
• Expertise of developing an individual giving program
• Developing and implementing campaigns, appeals and events
• Relevant experience of supporter journeys and data capture in CRM, ideally Salesforce
• Budget setting and budget management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good understanding of GDPR, fundraising regulations and best practice

What are the responsibilities of the Independent Child Trafficking Guardian:

Support for Children: Independent Child Trafficking Guardians support children who have experienced trafficking and exploitation, working alongside other professionals to ensure that children receive appropriate support in line with their needs. 

 Within this role some of your responsibilities will be: 

• Supporting professionals, including Social Workers, Police, Youth Justice Teams, Foster Carers and Residential Support Workers, to identify children exploited through modern slavery and refer them into the Service 
• Provide advice, guidance and information about child trafficking and initial safety planning to professionals through 1:1 case consultations or attendance at multi-agency meetings 
• Develop initial needs assessments and action plans 
• Support practitioners from partner agencies to meet the needs of children who have experienced trafficking and exploitation
• Manage a substantial caseload of young people supported through direct and indirect work, working within the requirements of service Key Performance Indicators and in line with Home Office Guidance.
• Support children through face-to-face contact and online platforms using creative approaches to ensure that children receive an excellent standard of specialist support within the boundaries of the role.
• Identify and respond to safeguarding, alerting managers to concerns and working with staff from partner agencies to deliver a robust safeguarding response.

Regional Safeguarding Manager (South East)

The post holder will work alongside the Director for Safeguarding in some strategic duties, and will line manage a regional team of Safeguarding Officers who will carry specific responsibility for individual cases and risk assessments, training and advise to churches. The post predominantly covers the districts in the South East and will involve regular travel. The post holder is required to be home-based within the South East region.

Working alongside dedicated colleagues, this is the perfect role for someone looking to put their experience of working with regional supporters and in providing first-class supporter stewardship to use in helping us develop our team. You will be an integral part of our Regional Relationships Team and a member of our wider Public Fundraising team, as we seek to deliver transformational growth in our income. The Role
Building relationships with the fire and rescue services in your area, you’ll become an integral part of the local fire services community. You’ll join a nation-wide team of inspiring and innovative fundraisers, working collaboratively to secure the much-needed income for the Charity. 

Helping to coordinate events, support fundraising initiatives and implement new ideas, you’ll support your people, stations, and offices to raise awareness of the Charity and achieve and exceed income targets, as well as working with local businesses and people to maximise our fundraising potential.

By generating the income we need to realise our ambitions, you will help us to be there for even more members of the fire and rescue community.

About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and innovative fundraiser to join our team, full of ideas and a positive attitude. You’ll need excellent business and project planning skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and adapt your communication style to your audience.

You’ll be responsible for maximising the potential fundraising income from every initiative you support, so you must be able to effectively engage with multiple stakeholders and build strong networks.

You’ll also be able to support and inspire our volunteers, ensuring that these vital links between our Charity and the fire and rescue services are happy and fulfilled in their roles.

Reporting to the Regional Fundraising Manager, you’ll be an excellent communicator with exceptional organisational skills and a ‘can do’ attitude.
