Community Connect is a well-established Social Prescribing service and you will empower and support residents to access charities, community organisations and groups to enable them to improve their own health & wellbeing. You will work closely with local organisations and healthcare professionals to continue to develop the project and provide the best service to residents.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Be responsible for incoming resident referrals. You will meet with the resident, understand their needs and what matters to them to develop a personalised action plan to provide relevant support.
- Be responsible for referring patients to onward voluntary and community groups for continuing support to their health and wellbeing.
- Provide ongoing support to the resident for approximately four sessions, which could vary from follow-up phone calls or attending appointments with the resident, centred around what is best for the resident.
- Be responsible for developing exit strategies and ensuring residents are receiving appropriate support, and aware of the right services before discharge.
- Actively feedback key themes and insight to ensure continuing development and support of Bexley’s Voluntary Sector.
- To assist in maintaining the database of local services and activities in Bexley.
- Meet residents in a variety of locations including community locations in Bexley and Bexley GP Practices.
- To provide regular updates and reports on caseload management, ensuring that the CRM system is kept sufficiently up-to-date and records all information accurately.
- Work in partnership with GP Surgeries, including providing patient updates, regular outreach sessions and attending multi-disciplinary meetings.
- Be a champion of Social Prescribing, and the voluntary sector, locally, regionally, and nationally.

These are the normal duties which are required of the position; however, we do require that all staff be flexible and may be required to perform other duties to ensure the efficient running of services. It is envisaged that this post will be community based but this will be regularly reviewed.

The Dementia Support Line Team Leader is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Support Line which receives over 60000 calls per year and operates across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The Dementia Support Line Team Leader manages a team of Dementia Advisers providing leadership and direction to ensure they provide a highly responsive service, giving appropriate advice and support to people affected by dementia.

- An understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their carers would be an advantage but if you have had experience supporting with other diagnosis or support requirements this would be taken into consideration.

Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Financial Systems, you will be an interface between an IT team and Finance team including Finance Business Partners. You will have a problem solving approach and a background in Systems Accounting.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be either a Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant with proven Systems Accounting experience, Ideally, you will have experience of using Workday Adaptive or UBW / Unit 4 / Agresso and Power BI reporting or Cognos experience.
Alternatively, Systems Accountants with experience of using large ERP systems such as SAP will also be considered. You will have Advanced Excel (VBA) skills and the ability to engage and influence with your key stake holders such as Finance Business Partners, in providing innovative solutions.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing day-to-day financial processing, management and reporting; and, with the CEO, for providing medium and long-term financial planning and analysis in support of the growth strategy. The role will involve responsibility for systems’ maintenance and development, business process improvements and building/facilities management of the offices at No.1 Buckingham Place, Victoria SW1.
The role will include (but not limited to):
- Processing and payment of all invoices, expenses; and grants (to individuals and training providers), ensuring appropriate approvals, accurate and compliant filing and storage on internal systems
- Raising of invoices and liaison with suppliers, including debt collection, as required
- Building/facilities/utilities management relating to QEST’s status as Freeholder and Landlord of the premises at No.1 Buckingham Place
- Processing of all invoicing and recharges relating to QEST’s role as Freeholder and Landlord, including rent, service charges and other services including insurance, utilities, IT and telephony
- Processing and reconciliation of bank transactions, with regular reporting to the CEO on cash status and projection
- Management of payroll and pension arrangements (with the payroll provider)
- Production of monthly management accounts for review by the CEO and Treasurer, including full written commentary on any variances, as necessary
- Preparation of financial papers, including analysis, for quarterly review of the Finance Sub-committee; and quarterly meetings of the Trustees’ Board
- With the CEO, preparation of the Annual Budget for approval by the Trustees’ Board (December)
- Preparation and management of year end accounts and processes, including liaison with auditors, as required
- Production of all income and expenditure and balance sheet accounts, journal adjustments, including accruals and pre-payments
- Preparation and filing of company tax returns, liaising with HMRC and auditors, as required
- Filing of Accounts with Companies House and the Charity Commission; as well as any changes to Directors (Trustees), and other legal and statutory requirements (eg Confirmation Statements) as required
- Undertaking of ad hoc project work, including evaluation of current business processes and practices relating to the finance function, and recommending and driving improvements

ASH Co-op is a thriving tenant-managed housing co-op in Cambridge. We have two part-time staff and are looking for a focused, committed, self-motivated and enthusiastic person to take the role on to cover for maternity leave to start from late September.
This is a varied front-line role involving collecting rent and taking enquiries, including maintenance requests and applications for membership. It also involves monitoring budgets, some basic accounting and general office administration. You must be IT literate with a good working knowledge of excel and will ideally have previous experience of housing work, or a similar office environment.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To be responsible, with our other housing co-ordinator/s, for the day-to-day running of ASH Co-op in co-operation with the membership; deal with outside bodies on behalf of the co-op; keep computer records; maintain and develop office and financial systems; and provide administrative support for working groups.
REPORTING TO
The Employment Co-ordinators, who are elected by the members on to ASH Co-op’s committee.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
All tasks are to be carried out with the relevant Co-ordinators and Working Groups where appropriate. As a volunteer led organisation, the Housing Co-ordinators will be expected to liaise with working group co-ordinators from time to time to agree how tasks will split between them. A key responsibility of the Housing Co-ordinators is to provide continuity where volunteers are unable to do so.
The successful applicant will be able to work Tuesdays and spread remaining hours across other weekdays between 8am-7pm when needed. The core office opening hours are 9.30am- 5pm. This role is being offered on a 13 month fixed contract.

Reporting to the Manager OSG, the Administration Officer performs an important supporting role combining various logistics and operational support functions that ensure the CTO’s internal operations are efficient. These support functions include general administration, record and document management, procurement and inventory management, facilities coordination, travel arrangements, and event logistics. The Administration Officer will also work closely with the IT Administrator to build a CTO internal administration database that includes relevant data.
We are looking for an experienced administrator with meticulous attention to detail, impeccable oral and written communication skills, and excellent organisation skills. To be successful, you will have experience in database management, minute taking and, travel and hotel booking. The post holder needs to have strong IT and database skills, as well as experience in mail merge. An exposure to event management is an asset.
