About EduSpots
EduSpots is a dynamic, community-driven UK and Ghana-registered charity that connects, trains, and equips volunteer community educators (known as ‘Catalysts’) to drive grassroots educational change. These efforts center around the creation and operation of community-led ‘Spots’—innovative education spaces benefiting learners of all ages.
Founded in 2016, EduSpots has grown to support 50 communities through 400 local Catalysts who play a central leadership role. We believe in a community-led model that can be adapted globally. Our Ghana-based team facilitates three leadership programmes—Ignite, Catalyse, and Inspire Mentoring—enabling Catalysts to run clubs focused on early-years education, digital literacy, STEM/environmental education, and gender equity, ultimately reaching over 15,000 learners each year.
EduSpots’ rapid growth has been recognized through accolades like the Tes International Award (2018) and the Big Give Supporters’ Choice Award (2022). About the Role
EduSpots is seeking a Global Philanthropy Manager—an engaging, dynamic, and proven fundraising specialist who will play a key part in our next phase of growth. As we continue to expand, we need an individual with a track record of securing income from trusts and foundations, ideally at the 5- to 6-figure level (GBP), and the ability to cultivate new funding partnerships.
In the past two years, we have doubled our income and expanded our programmes significantly. We are now poised for further growth and need someone who understands the value of community-driven change. You will collaborate closely with our CEO, Ghana-based Heads of Programmes, and Head of Operations to develop funding proposals and nurture donor relationships at a strategic level.
Depending on experience and availability, this role may involve overseeing a small part-time fundraising team (including a Fundraising Manager, Trusts and Foundations Manager, and Communications Manager). In time, the position could evolve into a Head of Fundraising role.

Key Responsibilities

Global Fundraising Strategy

Develop and execute an overarching fundraising strategy targeting medium-to-large, multi-year commitments from trusts, foundations, major donors, and (potentially) corporate partners.

Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to secure high-value partnerships.

Strategic Proposal Development

Collaborate with the CEO, Heads of Programmes, and Head of Operations to craft compelling organisational and programme-focused bids.

Contribute to EduSpots’ broader strategic development, aligning funding proposals with our organisational goals.

Donor Cultivation and Stewardship

Establish and maintain efficient donor identification, cultivation, and tracking systems.

Coordinate with the CEO and board members to leverage their networks for new funding opportunities.

Create bespoke stewardship plans that demonstrate the impact of donor support and build lasting relationships.

Communications and Networking
-
Work with the CEO and Communications Manager to develop a compelling case for support and accompanying engagement materials.

Actively represent EduSpots in relevant networks to increase our visibility among potential donors.

Donor Relationship Management
-
Oversee relationships with major donors, trusts, and foundations, including grant reporting and ongoing communications.

Manage donor databases and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Monitoring and Compliance
-
Track philanthropic trends to strengthen EduSpots’ fundraising effectiveness.

Ensure compliance with all relevant international fundraising regulations and ethical standards.

Team Leadership (Depending on Experience/Availability)

Potentially manage and mentor a small part-time fundraising team (Fundraising Manager, Trusts and Foundations Manager, Communications Manager), ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

Skills, Experience, and Attributes
Essential
-
Proven track record of income generation, ideally within education or international development.

Extensive experience writing successful grant applications (5- to 6-figure GBP).

Strong background in cultivating and managing relationships with trusts, foundations, and other grant-makers.

Knowledge of a broad range of UK-based funders and some familiarity with international (European/US) funders.

Understanding of programme development and management, ideally in an education context.

Some experience in communications/marketing within an NGO setting.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to engage diverse stakeholders.

Ability to work autonomously in a remote role with minimal day-to-day supervision.

Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Google Drive, etc.).

About the role
The Procurement & Logistics Officer ensures the effective delivery of supply chain services to the Sightsavers Nigeria Country Office, working with programme and support teams to provide timely and safe goods in compliance with national and international standards. The role involves ordering pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, devices, vehicles, stationery, and office equipment, and managing logistics to ensure goods are in the right place at the right time, all in line with local laws, international standards, and organisational policies.
Responsibilities
The Procurement & Logistics Officer ensures the effective delivery of supply chain services to the Sightsavers Nigeria Country Office. This role involves collaborating with programme staff and the Procurement Analyst to plan procurement, assess sourcing strategies, and support supplier selection. The officer must have a proven track record of knowledge and experience in the procurement and relevant logistics of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, consumables, and diagnostics. They complete due diligence checks, process orders, and work with the Logistics Specialist to handle and transport goods, adhering to import regulations. They ensure documentation is gathered for audits, negotiate local contracts, and produce reports on procurement activities. The officer follows Good Distribution Practice (GDP) procedures for pharmaceutical orders, conducts investigations, and supports policy development to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Must have a proven track record of knowledge and experience in the procurement and relevant logistics of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, consumables, and diagnostics.
- Proven track record of establishing relationships with a wide range of vendors and relevant contacts.
- Ability to travel quarterly to project areas in Nigeria.
- Understanding of importation requirements
Desirable:
- Experience of Procurement and logistics within the International Development and Humanitarian sector or within the pharmaceutical sector would be an advantage but not essential.

Summary job description
We seek an experienced Director of Development to drive Blue Ventures' fundraising efforts, secure resources, and support our ambitious Thriving Fishers Thriving Oceans Strategy.
Reporting to the Chief Programme Officer, this senior leadership position oversees the development team and is responsible for a portfolio of trusts and foundation grants, high-net-worth individual giving, and government funding. The team oversees the entire fundraising cycle across the portfolio, including identifying and cultivating funding relationships, developing high-quality proposals, managing grants, and stewardship.
As part of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Development collaborates cross-functionally with other department leads, regional directors, and country teams to understand the resourcing needs across multi-year plans and organisational priority setting. The director also leads fundraising efforts to ensure Blue Ventures continues to grow and scale effectively.
We seek a results-oriented individual with an exceptional track record for strategic fundraising, leading teams to successfully secure significant, multi-year commitments and build long-term, trust-based relationships with donors committed to the mission and vision of Blue Ventures and its Thriving Fishers Thriving Oceans 2030 strategy.

ROLE SUMMARY:
The People and Culture (P&C) Business Partner drives the P&C operational effectiveness in Country Offices, facilitates organisational development and change and provides a framework for best people’s practice and quality standards. The P&C Business Partner also supports the organization in developing and implementing initiatives that encourage diversity, promote equity, and support psychological and physical safety of the workforce.
International travel including security high risk countries up to 6 times a year and extended screen time will be required.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Operational delivery (30%)
- Provide advice and influence action on P&C global policies, and in collaboration with local P&C Specialists advice on local policies and employment law to staff and management based in Country Offices (COs).
- Support the timely review of local policies and embed best practice, ensuring local needs and culture are reflected.
- Work with Chief People and Culture Office (CPCO), P&C Directors, the Talent Acquisition Specialist, the Safeguarding Specialist, Global Directors of Country Offices and Logistics Manager to identity and mitigate people related risks in COs and prevent and resolve issues.
Quality Assurance (20%)
- Drive efficiency and quality assurance of P&C operational practices in COs by conducting assessments and P&C Audits, and work with P&C Specialists and Country Directors (CDs) to enhance the employee experience, ensure consistency, continuous improvement and enhance People’s capacity in country.
- Support CDs to ensure compliance and manage P&C risks as per country risk register and audits’ actions.
- Contribute to the data gathering, analysis and presentation of P&C reports, to enable decision making Identifies trends, propose actions for improvement and instigate implementation.
Employee Relations and Employee Services (30%)
- Monitor the whistleblowing line and ensure timely action is taken in all complaints received related to COs.
- Oversee and work with P&C and COs management on the prevention and effective resolution of employee relations issues and adherence to disciplinary procedures. Responsible for maintaining confidential records.
- Conduct investigations and liaise with legal firms and/or investigators to resolve ER cases.
- Identify trends and areas of concerns based on data channels i.e. surveys and exit interviews and proposes actions.
Diversity, Equity Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) (10%)
- Embed DEIA approaches in policies and processes, to create a framework that welcomes and supports staff regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, language, ability, status, and location.
- Work with the Global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Committee (GDEIAC) to communicate DEIA strategy and establish measurable goals to track progress.
- Source, develop and manage trainings and a forum of knowledge based on needs, including through the Learning Management System (LMS) and the DEIA Week.
- Analyse DEIA data to make recommendations and support implementation of agreed actions.
Safety and Safeguarding (10%)
- From the P&C perspective, support adherence to safety, security and Safeguarding policies and procedures across the organisation.

Expertise (Certifications/Education, Professional Experience):
- Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Org Behaviour or related field
- Experience of working at HQ or regional level on an international development organization with representation in low, medium and high-income countries
- Experience in management of HR international operations with thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable local laws and donor requirements in a number of countries
- Experience in delivering HR services through a business partner model
- Experience advising and training P&C professionals, staff and management on employee relations issues and best people management practices

Results UK Job Description: Campaigns Manager
Key terms and conditions
Salary: £40,976 per annum pro rata.
Hours: This is a 0.8% FTE permanent post with a 28-hour week.

About the role
The Campaigns Manager will shape and lead our campaigning and communications work, supporting our network of grassroots volunteer campaigners across the country, ensuring that grassroots advocacy is at the heart of what we do. You will be an expert at developing and managing campaigns and communications and supporting volunteer networks, with excellent written English, and proven experience ensuring that written and visual communications and digital outreach contribute to our organisational advocacy work. The post-holder will line-manage the Campaigns and Communications Officer.
This role is available 4 days per week on a permanent basis and will provide good opportunities for further developing your leadership of campaigns and public advocacy, and using your communications expertise to contribute to lasting advocacy success. Position Overview
A new role within the organization, the Philanthropy Officer, Trusts and Foundations is responsible for identifying, building, and managing a (new) portfolio of trust, foundation, and grant funders from identification to stewardship, developing high-quality proposals, budgets, and reports. You will be responsible for developing and implementing financial management and reporting strategies as well as ensuring strong financial control processes across the team. You will also oversee the IT team, ensuring the development of strong IT policies.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Support the Senior Management Team to shape long-term organisational strategy
- Lead on organisational strategies and plans encompassing finance, operations, IT and risk management
- Offer expert financial advice and analysis to aid management teams in strategic decision making
- Support the CEO in risk management
- Provide overall leadership to the finance function, ensuring strong finance systems are in place
- Lead the relationship with Crisis Action's auditors
- Ensure the funds of Crisis Action are invested to achieve maximum returns
- Oversee organisational security systems and processes
- Ensure the development of a strong IT policy
Essential:
- CCAB Qualified Accountant
- Experience leading finance teams within a human rights or international development organisation
- Strong understanding of Charity SORP
- Knowledge of IT and infrastructure
Salary is £70,000- £80,000 (Subject to experience) + Excellent Benefits.

Founded by singer-songwriter and activist, Annie Lennox and other leading women, The Circle is a space for creative ideas, connections and the opportunity to make change. From small beginnings in 2008, they have grown into an independent network of women and allies from all walks of life who are bonded by the desire to live in a world where women and girls have equal rights and equal opportunities.
They are seeking an Interim Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to join them for a 5 month maternity contract, driving income and donor engagement via major donors, corporates and special events and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key member of SLT, reporting to the CEO and working closely with associated peers to deliver and achieve the organisational strategy
- Lead The Circle’s major gift fundraising, with a focus on HNWI, philanthropy advisors, corporate partnerships and trusts & foundations
- Build a sustainable pipeline of income
- Drive new business activity - identifying opportunities for partnership/support from a variety of high value sources
- Develop new cases for support, building on existing propositions such as A Living Wage for Garment Workers and Ending Violence Against Women and Girls report.
- Identify opportunities for special events/initiatives which could also act as cultivation events for new supporters or one-off large scale fundraisers with high ROI.
Skills and Qualifications:
- An experienced and results driven fundraiser with a major donor background
- Demonstrable expertise in securing five-figure donations from HNWIs/corporate partners/T&F (six-figure experience desirable) and understanding of appeals and events.
- A strategic, creative doer who strikes the balance between leadership, tactics and being hands-on as required
- Self-motivated with demonstrable ability to take the initiative and drive activity – The Circle is a small organisation, and the team work remotely
- Knowledge of partnership agreements and due diligence processes
- A background in international development and/or women’s rights is desirable
- Events/special initiatives expertise desirable
What's on offer:
This role is offering a day rate of £217 - £237 per day PAYE + holiday pay for this 5 month contract. This is a hybrid role with travel into London twice a month. This is a fast moving role and applications will close as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
