In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

Equipping and Supporting Spear Centres

• Spend time in Spear Centres to build a presence and trust with the Spear coaches, in order to provide better employment support for trainees.
• Provide additional support to Spear Centres outside of London as they develop their own employer network and local employment events.
• Serving as a liaison between Resurgo, the employer and Spear Centres in collecting and sharing job descriptions, trainee CVs, interview feedback and handover documents for successful hires.

Account Management and Administration

• Conduct due diligence checks on potential employers.
• Sustain links with corporates, employers and charities in order to generate employment opportunities for young people.
• Research and compile the weekly employment email with current vacancies and opportunities (which includes all new Spear Streamlined Centres) and contribute ‘Job of the Week’ to the weekly Spear Bulletin.
• Manage bespoke recruitment processes and logistics.
• Monthly reporting for national employer partners.
• Attend select online and in-person youth employment events on behalf of Resurgo and the Spear Programme.
• Support the wider Corporate and Employer Partnerships team in administrative tasks.

Support the Coordination of Employer Events

• Help to deliver central (London-based) Hire Me events with mass employment opportunities.
• Equip Spear Centres to run their own local employment activities/events, including effective review processes after the events.
• Track success of central and local events and the impact on education, employment and training (EET) statistics.
• Work with the Employer Partnerships Manager to develop and coordinate employer-related events, such as Coffee and Connect, or organise site visits for employers to a Spear training room or an insight session with a Spear coach.

Spear Alumni Network Coordinator

• Develop and run an alumni network/platform for Spear completers, keeping them updated with further job opportunities and creating a continued sense of community. 
• Work with the Resurgo Church Partnerships team to build a pipeline into the Spear Ambassadors group, giving Spear completers a voice in the continuous development of the Spear Programme and encouraging Spear completers to invite those they know to join Spear.
• With the Comms team, identify opportunities for Spear completers to become Brand Ambassadors who promote our work, ensuring success stories are celebrated and feeding into funding applications and reports.

Active participation in and support for Resurgo’s team and mission

• Help build and develop Resurgo’s ethos and Christian life as a team member including leading and contributing to daily team prayer meetings as an integral part of Resurgo’s operation and for the success of its mission.

We are looking for a Finance and Supporter Care Officer to play a critical role in our team, by providing the necessary financial, administrative and operational support for the smooth running of the organisation. By delivering this essential support you will directly contribute to our goal of supporting more women with birth injuries in Ethiopia. 

The Finance and Supporter Care Officer will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day financial record-keeping and systems for the charity, including donation processing and bank reconciliation. They will contribute to producing budgets and management accounts that are essential for the efficient running of the charity.

They will be the first point of contact for our supporters; delivering first class supporter care when answering the phone, emails and producing written correspondence, and keeping our CRM up to date with high quality data. This role is also critical in providing administrative and operational support for the organisation including organising meetings and travel.

You will be joining a small, passionate and highly motivated team who are committed to working together to realise the vision of the organisation. This is a role for someone who enjoys juggling a busy and varied workload. You will like working with finances and be methodical with a keen eye for detail. Duties will include but not be limited to:

Maintain Financial Records

· As part of the Financial Accounts team (two Finance Officers and the Financial Controller) take a share of the responsibility for maintaining the financial records of the charity, ensuring compliance with processes and technical and legal requirements, and safeguarding the assets of the charity.

· Provide support to internal and external stakeholders in operating or using/getting benefits from the outputs from your areas of responsibility.

· Areas of responsibility will include: -

· Processing and payment of invoices and bank transfers, including foreign and urgent payments.

· Processing of donations from journals generated from the CRM system, reconciling to bank receipts, and resolving any queries or discrepancies in collaboration with the Supporter Care team.

· Bank and petty cash recording and reconciliation. Including bank account reconciliation on a weekly basis, petty cash and foreign currency.  Submission of bank reconciliations for approval by Financial Controller.

· Enter expected cash outgoings into weekly cash flow document.

· Credit Card and Expense Claims (detailed below)

· Process Payroll (detailed below)

· Purchase and sale of foreign currency as discussed with Financial Controller.

· Monthly gift aid submission including generation of Gift Aid submissions, complete pre-claim checks, submission and reconciliation to receipts from HMRC. Submission of draft gift aid submission for approval by Financial Controller.

· Month End - (detailed below)

· Year End – As instructed by the Financial Controller generate reports and information to support preparation of annual report and audit file. Answer audit queries provided by the charities auditors.

· Maintenance of the organisation’s fixed asset register, posting journals for depreciation, acquisitions and disposals.

· Monitoring of finance inbox and support organisation with requests for financial information.

· Provide Support to organisation with procurement and purchase ledger system Focal point.

· Update projects/funds on Dimensions.

· Maintaining accounting records for our subsidiary company, ShelterBox Trading.

Credit Card and Expense Claims

· Maintenance of the Company Credit cards, submitting requests for new cards, adjusting credit limits and cancelation of cards.

· Download credit card transactions and upload to Acloud Expense system and submit to credit card holders for completion of expenses.

· Review, approve and post to finance system credit card expenses and claims for expenses using Acloud expense system.

· The issuing and reconciliation of cash advances for SRT teams.

· Provision of new credit cards for Staff/SRT’s and deal with any issues.

Payroll

·  Processing the monthly payroll with information provided by HR Department using Sage Payroll Software and initiating payment and payslips to staff.

·  Monthly submission of payroll reports to HMRC and process payment of PAYE, NI and student loans to HMRC.

·  Maintenance of the company pension scheme, uploading details of monthly contributions with Scottish Widows. Dealing with issues and queries around this.

·  Monthly reconciliation of payroll control accounts.

·  Providing support to the HR team around pay, pension loans etc

 Month End

· Assist with timely month end process by completing work to meet monthly deadlines.

· Calculation of the month end prepayments and accruals, processing the relevant journals, ensuring the reconciliation of balances to Dimensions.

· Monthly reconciliation of income between CRM and Dimensions.

· Calculate of currency revaluation for foreign currency accounts held on a monthly basis, submit to Financial Controller for approval and post to Access Dimensions.

· Produce month end bank reconciliations for approval by Financial Controller.

· Calculation and posting to finance system of credit card accrual.

· Produce salaries reconciliation for approval by Financial Controller.

· Production and distribution of income and expenditure and transaction reports for budget holders.

· Assist with roll forward of department forecast templates.

 Special Projects:

 -Provide support to the Finance Team Managers, Deputy Director of Finance and Director of Finance including undertaking special projects as requested.

· Providing financial team support on cross departmental projects as required.

· Carbon footprint work for the organisation

· Produce weekly/monthly reports to the SLT team as requested

Action Around Bethlehem Children with Disability (‘ABCD’) is a small but well-established charity. We are passionate about improving the lives of children with disabilities across Palestine regardless of faith, race or gender.

JOB PURPOSE 

The Anticipatory Action Advisor role is responsible for the design, set up, and implementation of project activities under Start Network’s forthcoming ‘Anticipatory Action for human-induced crises’ project. This project will build on Start Network’s history of innovation within the Anticipatory Action space and learning from numerous examples of Start Network’s membership delivering anticipatory action for human-induced hazards through the Start Fund, with a particular focus on anticipatory action for conflict. The project aims to develop and deliver new methodologies and approaches to anticipatory action for conflict and other human-induced crises during a three-year grant, with the opportunity for multiple country level initiatives. The Finance and Administrative Project Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity and administrative efficiency of our projects in the DRC. Salary: GBP 33,835 in the UK / EUR 32,042 in France / USD $41,395 in DRC

Person Specification

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and a detail-oriented professional with a background in financial management and administrative support, particularly within the context of international development or charity work. Excellent written and spoken fluency in both English and French is a non-negotiable requirement to ensure that you’re able to effectively communicate and collaborate with our diverse teams and partners.

Your experience should include managing project budgets, tracking expenditures, and producing high-quality financial reports. You should be well-versed in working with local NGOs, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, and supporting their organisational development.

Strong interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure are integral qualities for a member of the RFUK team. About the Role:

The Water Security Lead is responsible for delivering WaterAid’s water security programming by providing strategic leadership, technical expertise, and innovative solutions. The role supports programme design, implementation, evaluation, and the development of standards and guidance, working with global teams to enhance knowledge sharing, technical delivery, and external engagement.

• The Water Security Lead is based in the WASH Technical Effectiveness team, reporting to the head of the team. The Water Security Lead is accountable for the strategic development and effective delivery of the core team responsibilities on water security programming in both urban and rural, low-income settings, incorporating WaterAid’s and the sector’s leading practices, innovations and methods.
• Applying a people-centred, systems strengthening approach to WASH, she/he leads the provision of high quality specialist technical analysis, advisory, and support services to the design, inception, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and/or assessments of WaterAid’s water programming worldwide, at both strategic and operational levels.

Job Description

Financial Management 

• Own the general ledger, reconciling transactions using Xero accounting software, and ensuring the accounts are accurate and up to date

• Track income and expenditure against budgets and work with the whole team to revise forecasts accordingly 

• Monitor reserves and restricted funds, including tracking of grant funding, ensuring compliance with financial policies and controls
