The Coproduction Service Manager is responsible for the operational leadership of coproduction, involvement and engagement. This includes managing service delivery, developing new opportunities for lived experience engagement, and ensuring optimal beneficiary outcomes across Greater Manchester, in true partnership with people with lived and living experience. The postholder will work alongside key system partners.

It’s a hugely exciting time for the Charity, with the appointment of a new CEO and Director of Income & Engagement to lead an ambitious period of growth. The Head of Leadership Giving will lead the strategic direction and expansion of the high-value giving portfolio. The team is on track to deliver £1.2m this financial year, with achievable plans to double income by 2027. This role has particular focus on optimising high-value support for the 100th Anniversary of the Charity’s BBC Radio 4 Christmas Appeal in 2026, including the set up and stewardship of an Appeal Board to develop key relationships connected to this unique and special campaign.

Key duties include:

• Work collaboratively with the Director of Income & Engagement to further develop and implement the leadership giving fundraising strategy, ensuring annual and longer term general and restricted income targets are achieved. 
• Lead on the set up and stewardship of the Appeal Board for the BBC Radio 4 100th anniversary, aiming to optimise income and networking opportunities from partners and high net worth individuals connected to the wider Appeal.
• Develop strong internal relationships across fundraising, programmes and communications to create and develop compelling and effective long-term restricted funding opportunities to increase fundraising and deliver new multi-year income. This role will also work closely with St Martins partner organisations to identify funding opportunities aligned with the charity’s strategic plan.
• Oversee the development of a pipeline of funding applications and approaches across Trusts and Philanthropy to ensure existing and future funding needs are met from leadership giving sources.
• Take a lead role in establishing a compelling, future focused high value case for support that enables a dedicated Leadership Giving appeal in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the BBC Radio 4 Appeal in 2026.
• Lead, motivate and manage an experienced Leadership Giving team of two, creating a positive and inspiring culture which empowers fundraisers to achieve their best while meeting or exceeding annual income targets.

We’re looking for the following skills & experience for this role:

• Extensive High-Value Fundraising experience, with tangible skills and knowledge in securing six figure donations across Major Donors and/or Trusts & Foundations.
• Experience in developing robust pipelines of new opportunities and successfully converting to grow long term, sustainable income
• First-class donor management skills, delivering outstanding stewardship for long-term, high value donors.
• Experience in developing and delivering strategy, plans and budgets and being able to monitor and evaluate progress.
• Experience leading, inspiring and managing a Philanthropy team, motivating and developing Fundraisers to deliver income targets and objectives.
• Experience of high value special events and cultivation programmes.
• Experience of setting up and/or stewarding a Development Board is highly desirable.

Location of work: Flexible. This post holder will be based at home but daily travel to schools or other establishments within your allocated local area will be required including some early morning breakfast visits. The role will require irregular travel throughout the UK with minimal overnight stays. 

Contract type:  4 days / 28 hours per week term time only, although part time / flexible hours may be considered. Magic Breakfast is a registered charity providing healthy breakfasts to children and young people in the UK who arrive at school too hungry to learn, and expert support to their schools. JOB PURPOSE 

Magic Breakfast’s mission is to end child morning hunger in the UK now and for good. The Service Delivery team is responsible for ensuring the delivery of our breakfast provision. As Engagement Partner, you will work with relevant partners (schools, local authorities, parents, parent councils) to ensure that breakfast provision is optimized, encouraging reach and providing education on relevant topics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Pipeline development and cultivation:   

• To develop a relationship with the supported schools in their respective area, to enable, preserve, embed, enhance and extend stigma and barrier free breakfast pron.

• To educating and engage with the wider school community, including teachers, parents and children and young people on the importance of breakfast and implications of hunger as a barrier learning through various means including assemblies, staff meetings, online events and regional events throughout the academic year.

• To engage with the wider community to advocate for the importance of breakfast, the work that we are doing in existing schools and to support our campaigning and advocacy strategy and plans.

• To develop brand awareness in schools and local communities in line with our marketing strategy

• To support the recruitment of new schools with launching new breakfast provisions, adapting to the requirements of the school and children and young people, and advising on best practise

• To support any media requests as directed through the Policy & Engagement team

• To capture and report on “storytelling” to enable the organisation to utilise qualitative data to support external communication

• To explore, share and deliver on new engagement ideas across the department and organisation

• To enable, support and feedback on new ways of working, trials and innovations

Welcare is recruiting an experienced Family Support Worker to deliver a broad-based preventative support service for families with children up to the age of 13 in partnership with schools, churches, the local authority and other agencies, in the London boroughs of Bromley and Greenwich.  Local knowledge of Bromley and Greenwich areas would be an advantage.

You will be delivering practical and emotional support to enhance the life chances of children who have experienced domestic abuse and social isolation through one-to-one support and group work programmes.  The post requires working with families in person and online remote working.  The office base is in Community House, Bromley.

General Duties:

1. To promote the programmes of work and manage the external and internal referral process including the assessment of need, risk and safeguarding concerns.

2. Hold a caseload of 4 families delivering “whole family” or targeted interventions.

3. Lead and facilitate community group work programmes including 6 #CapeAbility in Schools programme which aims to build resilience and self-esteem for children in key stage 2.

4. Lead and facilitate groupwork programmes for parents such Strengthening Families Strengthening Communities and Child Overcoming Domestic Abuse.

5. Safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults you work with directly and take appropriate action if escalation is needed.

6. To provide practical and emotional support to families or advocacy and signposting to specialist and universal services where appropriate.

7. Ensuring that the voices and views of children and young people are sought, heard and represented appropriately.

8. Attend designated meetings with multi-agency professionals and act as lead professional where appropriate to support the Team Around the Child/Family or Early Help Assessment (EHA).

Job Description

The First Contact Navigators play a central role in the CARA team, ensuring that our service users and other agencies receive a high-quality service from the moment of first contact. You will work as part of a wider team of First Contact Navigators across Essex and the post liaises with clients, the CARA team and external agencies, providing advice, support and information. 

The First Contact Navigator will engage with individuals who are experiencing, or who have experienced, sexual violence and or sexual abuse who require information, signposting and short-term support.  You will be the first contact and conduct first meetings, managing your own caseload and co-ordinating personalised support for individuals on their pathway to wellbeing. You will have strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision. You will support people who use CARA services to make informed decisions about their wellbeing, maximising their independence and engaging in appropriate community or clinical resources. You will work collaboratively with service users, the CARA team and other professional agencies to navigate and coordinate services.

The main responsibilities of the post are:

• To act as a first point of contact for new referrals and enquiries, providing information, emotional support, advice and signposting.

• To complete first contact calls and assessments with clients over the telephone. 

• To ensure information about new referrals/enquiries is accurately recorded on CARA’s database in real time.

• To work collaboratively and build trust with service users, agencies, personal and professional support networks to collate relevant information to effect individualised support requirements.

• To assess and engage service users not currently engaged in appropriate specialist sexual violence services.

• To seek and respond to referrals from a variety of internal and external sources.

• To assist survivors and relatives/supporters of survivors in understanding the range of resources and services available to them.

About the opportunity

The Head of School Marketing will lead and deliver comprehensive, cross-organisational marketing initiatives that result in an increase in the number of schools partnering with Action Tutoring. This role will define, deliver and adapt marketing strategies that effectively communicate the charity's value proposition to schools, leading to increased interest and sales. The role will oversee all marketing activities to schools; lead and support school market research and analysis; utilise analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and will be accountable for both school marketing and the initial stages of the school sales funnel (converting qualified leads into booked sales calls with our programme department).

• Strategic direction - set, adjust and operationalise a comprehensive cross-organisational school marketing strategy.

nasen have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Head of Fundraising to work with our Executive Leadership team to identify opportunities and develop new business opportunities.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:

Working alongside two other Advice and Support Managers, this role will share responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of Independent Age’s new Advice and Support Service, and lead on Evaluation and Impact. The service is delivered by telephone, email and webchat and involved a duty service, appointments and casework, targeted at older people in or facing financial hardship. We give information, advice and support to a specialist level, relating to Welfare Benefits, Social Care, Housing and other issues.

As Evaluation and Impact lead, you will be responsible for data collection and reporting, outcome and impact measurement, case studies and providing evidence to our Policy and Influencing colleagues. 

You should have experience of managing a high-volume telephone-based information or advice service and strong leadership skills to create a work environment where people can thrive. You will have experience of working within an advice context (ideally AQS accredited) and knowledge of the main issues affecting older people.

Salary information:

Hybrid working in London: £43,812 per year, increasing to £45,019 after 6 months and to £46,227 after 12 months. 

Homebased (with regular travel to London): £39,454 per year, increasing to £40,530 after 6 months and to £41,607 after 12 months.

The postholder will be experienced, skilled and knowledgeable, with an essential interest in and experience of working with migrant and refugee clients with complex needs; and the post would suit someone with previous experience in the migration or advice sectors who is interested in working with a mixed caseload that includes needs around destitution, homelessness, immigration and NRPF issues. We actively welcome applications from those with lived and relevant experience.

The post holder will assess, prioritise and triage new enquiries and referrals and allocate cases as appropriate within the generalist team. You will also carry your own caseload and provide one-to-one generalist advice, casework and practical support to migrant and refugee clients on
issues including immigration status, housing & homelessness, welfare benefits, asylum support, community care and destitution; as well as signposting and referring to internal and external local services including support groups, wellbeing activities, digital inclusion, ESOL, training and employability.

You will oversee our phone and email advice provision and organise and take part in the weekly advice rota. You will administer our destitution hardship grants and liaise closely with our food bank staff in relation to destitute clients in need of food bank support. You will attend and participate in local migrant sector meetings and networks as appropriate and, along with all staff and volunteers, you will have responsibility for identifying and raising any safeguarding concerns. You will jointly oversee and supervise casework volunteers and provide support and advice to our current generalist caseworker where needed.

The advice & casework team supports clients holistically on a range of different matters and our core caseload includes refugees, asylum seekers, those with NRPF, complex EUSS cases, spousal visas and undocumented migrants. Many of those we work with are homeless or precariously housed, destitute, and/or struggling to access support through statutory services for mental health, housing, welfare benefits and children’s services. The balance of time spent between different client groups and cases will need to be responsive to the ongoing demographic changes we see in the city and region, and the post holder will be expected to provide casework management and co-ordination of relevant services, liaising closely with other providers and with interpreters.

You will work as part of a small, supportive team that currently includes one other f/t generalist caseworker, one f/t immigration caseworker and a number of active casework support volunteers. The wider frontline staff team includes four refugee resettlement caseworkers; our group work facilitator; a skills & employability caseworker; an ESOL tutor; a food bank co-ordinator; and a volunteer co-ordinator.

Regular supervision and support and in-house and on-the-job training will be provided, as well as external training on specific issues where needed. However you will need to be ready to step immediately into a busy advice environment with the necessary confidence, skills and knowledge to begin to deliver advice and casework and take over an existing caseload.

On rare occasions you might be required to work out of hours where there are emergencies or if and when there are new arrivals in need of immediate support.

Finance Function
 

• Work with the CFO, other senior management, and programme staff to develop annual organisational budget of over £7 million
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure efficient and effective financial management, ensuring that policies and processes are well-understood by the wider organisation
• Design, implement and manage processes to develop financial forecasts, monitor budgets and programme funds, and reconcile accounts
