Key Responsibilities
- Review and maintain our risk management framework.
- Review and cleanse risks and controls currently recorded in the risk management system.
- Work with teams to identify, analyse, and prioritise potential risks across the organisation, ensuring a proactive and consistent approach.
- Work with teams to help integrate the risk management framework into all business operations, fostering a culture of accountability.
- Prepare comprehensive periodic reporting for senior management and the Trustee Audit & Risk Committee, highlighting key risks and progress on mitigation efforts.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior management and the Board of Trustees on risk matters, translating complex data into actionable insights that inform decision-making.
- Lead training initiatives to help cultivate a risk-aware culture across Blue Cross, empowering employees to engage in effective risk management.
- Act as an advisor and coach, promoting proactive and consistent risk mitigation throughout the organisation.
- Work with teams to help them develop and maintain robust business recovery plans and procedures to ensure operational resilience.
- Start work to implement the Business Continuity Strategy/Policy through the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), enabling Blue Cross to function effectively in times of crisis.

Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Legacy Manager with demonstrated experience, preferably within the charity sector or comparable commercial environment. The role will involve primarily working from home and must be situated in or near London to attend regular in person meetings with key staff.
Key responsibilities
Take responsibility for a portfolio of around 300 legacy pledgers in order to deepen relationships and offer excellent stewardship to ensure that legacy pledgers feel valued by STUK and their pledge is retained.
Act as the first point of contact for legacy enquiries, both internal and external, responding with authority, sensitivity and diplomacy, so that legacy enquirers and intenders choose to leave STUK a gift in their Will.
Plan and deliver a programme of marketing and advertising to promote legacy giving and grow our pipeline of legacy supporters. This will include contributing to campaign strategy development; producing marketing materials including newsletters; and consulting with the Head of Individual Giving re legacy mailings.
Undertake general legacy communications including developing a tangible legacy vision, make phone calls, arrange one to one meetings and write personal notes/letters.
Organise at least 2 – 3 legacy events per year including post-event follow-up.
Organise legacy stewardship activities such as recognition mechanisms.
Liaise with and oversee the administrative work of Legacy Link, our legacy administrators.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all legacy activity on Salesforce and in shared files.
Provide useful data insight and analysis producing regular statistical, qualitative and financial reports of legacy activity.
Manage in memoriam marketing.
Travel
There is limited but regular travel into London for regular team meetings as well as periodic travel as needed around the UK for meetings with legacy pledgers and to organise legacy events.
Required Education and Experience
5+ years of relevant experience with exposure to legacy marketing and liaison with legacy enquirers, considerers and pledgers preferred.
A proven history of generating significant growth in key legacy metrics such as numbers of legacy enquirers and pledgers.
Demonstrated success in developing substantive donor relationships and in supporting senior management and programme staff, to execute donor and engagement strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with both management and donors.
Extremely detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
Able to take ownership of a process and to use problem solving skills to resolve issues.
Able to make sound decisions based on analysis, experience and judgment.
Able to function both independently and as part of a global team.
Familiar with the MS Office and donor management systems. Knowledge of Salesforce and First Class preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, although an equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for this required level of education.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce), including customising workflows, reports and integrations
- Hands-on experience managing websites (ideally using WordPress), including familiarity with plugins, SEO best practices and web analytics
- Demonstrable experience of working with external agencies to manage website and CRM development
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Strong project management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities and deliver projects on time and within tight budgets

Fundraising – Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager – Strategic Partnerships – International
Make-A-Wish International is looking for a Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our team, based remotely. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will focus on the management and delivery of key corporate partnerships, encouraging long-term strategic growth and establishing strong working relationships with all stakeholders. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager will manage major partner accounts, focusing on raising $1.5M+ through fundraising activation, grant proposals and managing established long term relationships with global stakeholders. They will be responsible for the overall account management, financial targets, as well as designing and delivering targeted fundraising campaigns in multiple regions. The role includes negotiating contract renewals, putting together funding proposals, preparing detailed reports, and managing the operational delivery. They will represent Make-A-Wish at key stakeholder meetings and events, establishing strong relationships with a vast network of stakeholders to ensure successful partnership activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing high-value partnerships, strong relationship-building skills, and a results-driven mindset, as well as experience managing multi-layered and complex projects involving a large array of stakeholders.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strategically manage existing strategic partners and their growth through opportunities that can include cause related marketing, sponsorship, employee fundraising, in-kind donations, and corporate philanthropy.
• Design, develop, and deliver campaigns and activations to drive fundraising.
• Support all key partnership objectives, including delivering financial targets, budget management, communications planning, and renewal plans to drive partnership retention.
• Develop toolkits to manage partners more effectively and prepare materials, reports, and stewardship support for corporate partnerships, engaging stakeholders at every level.
• Negotiate renewal of partner contracts.
• Represent Make-A-Wish at internal and external partner meetings and events. Feed into the design and execution of a strategy to grow partnership opportunities.
• Establish strong relationships and ways of working with Make-A-Wish affiliates and network to deliver partnership activity and understand funding opportunities for corporate targets.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
• At least five years of progressive experience in fundraising, partnership development, project management, and/or marketing and communications.
• Proven track record of managing, delivering, renewing complex partnerships and securing growth ($500,000-$1,000,000+).
• Demonstrated experience in managing a prospect pipeline and implementing strategies to reach and surpass revenue goals.
• Experience managing and developing strong donor/client relationships with a proven ability to prospect, cultivate, engage, and retain corporate partners.
• Detailed understanding of the private sector, Sustainability, CSR, and corporate philanthropy, as well as the not-for-profit sector.
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage a high-volume workload, and handle multiple demands and changing priorities.
• Excellent relationship-building skills, able to successfully engage and influence people at all levels from various disciplines.Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities.Innovative, open-minded, results-driven mindset and resilient with the ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• English-speaking required; multiple languages a plus.
• Proficiency in operating systems such as Salesforce, Windows, and IOS. Positive attitude and appreciation of the Make-A-Wish mission.

The Role
Koreo is looking for a Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager to drive growth across our programmes, particularly Charityworks and 2027. These programmes aim to create a more diverse social change sector by placing young people from across the UK in 12-month work placements with nonprofit organisations, also known as host organisations. Alongside their work placements, participants take part in a year-long, ILM-certified leadership and development programme designed to accelerate their impact and future potential.
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual who thrives in a hands-on sales and relationship management role. This person will be responsible for securing work placements for our candidates by engaging with both new and existing host organisations across the nonprofit and grant-making sectors. They must be skilled at maintaining relationships with long-standing partners while also driving new business to support the overall growth and success of our programmes. Each year we aim to secure 150 work placements for diverse young talent from across the UK.
Working closely with the Director of Programmes and Managing Director, and line managing the Programme Marketing and Communications Manager and Recruitment Coordinator, the Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager, will play a key role in executing Koreo’s programmatic growth strategy. They will identify and cultivate new leads to build a strong prospect pipeline of host organisations, pitch to secure new partners and manage relationships with existing partners, while also overseeing the recruitment of participants into our programmes.
