Location: Hybrid – NASP have an office space at London's Southbank Centre which can be used by staff at any time. Purpose of This Role:
This is a crucial role to support NASP’s strategic objectives to promote and spread social prescribing at a local, national, and international level.
This pivotal role involves supporting a number of programmes that aim to develop social prescribing within healthcare systems. The role will work closely with our Healthcare Integration Lead to meet our workforce, clinical engagement, and education priorities across the organisation, providing programme coordination as well as supporting a variety of dynamic projects with the aim of supporting the expansion of delivery of social prescribing in a variety of different settings. The role will work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, to deliver one of our key priorities.
This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive and highly organised individual with excellent project management, administrative, and communication skills to support the development of our growing healthcare integration portfolio, whilst developing skills in supporting complex and strategic projects and a national level. The ideal candidate will be a self starter, with experience in working autonomously, and someone who has a developed understanding of the complexities of health and social care systems both at a Primary Care Network (PCN) and Integrated Care System (ICS) level.

About the role
You will be responsible for developing and diversifying the base of supporters and achieving fundraising targets. You will help maintain our existing stable income but also develop other income streams, expand our supporter networks, and build our sustainability for the future. Skills and experience
You will have a proven track record of soliciting, managing, and securing income from diverse income streams. You will have experience of developing successful grant applications and proposals for support to trusts and foundations. You will have digital fundraising fluency such as using social media to build support and run crowdfunding campaigns.
You will be an outstanding written communicator with the ability to absorb and synthesize complex information and translate it into compelling written cases for support. You should have excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to relate to, influence, and persuade internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You should be proactive, positive, and able to work on your own initiative, learn and test creative approaches, and remain resilient in the face of setbacks. About the role:
This is an ideal post for someone with experience and interest in bereavement work, looking to join a forward thinking, new service. This is also a great chance to be working alongside the Healthcare & Education Department within HMP Bronzefield and be part of a prison services team in Advance.
Using a trauma informed approached, the Loss & Bereavement Specialist will conduct a person-centred assessment to understand the extent of the client’s emotional needs and the impact of loss due to imprisonment or contact with the criminal justice system whilst also identifying practical and specialist needs. They will work with women to develop a support plan, ensuring they are equipped with information and knowledge about how to navigate possible changes in circumstances related to her children’s care and offer crisis intervention and support during acute phases of loss/bereavement.
The Loss & Bereavement Specialist Worker will liaise with the Prison Healthcare team, OMU, visits team and the Family Support Officer to facilitate interactions between women and their children/family members, particularly considering support is in place after visits and that the women’s emotional needs are met in custody and community via our Women’s centres.
The Specialist Worker will create a link between prison and the community, helping women to navigate support services and to positively re-integrate into their community upon release. The role will combine a casework- based approach, along with a signposting and advice service for the women. They will be based in the community and will provide a drop-in service in HMP Bronzefield to support women who are close to release.
A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential
About You:
To be successful as the Loss & Bereavement Specialist Worker you will need the below experience and skills:
Experience of working with bereaved individuals and providing grief counselling including knowledge of various therapeutic modalities relevant to grief counselling
Comprehensive understanding of the grieving process and experience of working with bereaved and loss as well as knowledge of traumatic and complex grief/loss.
An understanding of violence against women and girls and its links to women in the criminal justice system.
Proven ability and experience as a caseworker delivering trauma responsive interventions which support resettlement and rehabilitation of vulnerable people in the criminal justice system whether in the community or in prisons
Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of managing a caseload including maintaining and updating records, remaining focused on action plan goals, and keeping to deadlines

Role Details

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as an Health Advocate Educator supporting women and children who are impacted by domestic violence.
The Health Advocate Educator will train and provide ongoing support to GP practices and other health professionals to enable primary and secondary care staff to be able to effectively talk to their patients about domestic violence and abuse (DVA), provide early identification and offer appropriate care pathways for female, male and non-binary survivors of domestic violence and abuse, aged 16 years and over and their children.
The post holder will work in partnership with the local ICB and the service manager to proactively develop and maintain links with health providers in the local area.The post-holder will work within a defined locality, either Stratford-upon-Avon District; North Warwickshire and Nuneaton and Bedworth, or Warwick District and Rugby borough; building links with health professionals and support agencies.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

The Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Lead is responsible for overseeing income generation from corporate partners and growing high-value support from major donors to fund the vital work of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
This newly created role will develop and implement strategies and plans across two areas:
- Oversee a team focused on building and maintaining corporate partnerships with businesses across our six-county operating region, covering Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands, and Worcestershire.
- Engage major donors and secure transformative gifts both on an individual basis as well as part of a bespoke programme.
The Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Lead will be responsible for ensuring effective prospecting and exceptional supporter stewardship, maximising income generation in the short, medium and long term.
The role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced high-value fundraiser to work in close collaboration with our CEO and senior leadership team, and Chair and wider board of Trustees, to develop these two key income streams.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our fantastic Communications and Engagement Team.
This role is a 12-month fixed term contract, working alongside the Head of Marketing and Marketing Officer on a part-time basis. The post holder will work 14 hours per week or two full days. We can be flexible on the days worked to accommodate the post-holder’s needs. We will require them to be predominately office-based because of the need to build relationships with team members, internal colleagues, and crucially our commercial tenants.

Candidates should also be experienced in brand management and overseeing creative projects.

This role focusses on raising funds for Bowel Research UKs medical research projects and work that focuses on patient and public involvement. Funds raised will be a mix of restricted project funding and unrestricted funds that can support the organisations core operations.
You will need to work closely with colleagues in Research and Patient & Public Involvement to ensure you have a strong understanding of current funding needs and research successes. You will take the lead on seeking out new prospects and nurturing existing relationships to significantly grow income. You will achieve this by researching sources of funding, devising individually tailored applications, maintaining excellent communications with existing and potential donor trusts and foundations, delivering an agreed income target as well as growing funding from these sources.
The role will include researching relevant opportunities, identifying the most appropriate projects, writing and submitting applications and ensuring excellent donor management, development and reporting. Trusts and Foundations income is a cornerstone of Bowel Research UKs charitable income each year and is responsible for around a third of fundraised income. The organisation has assessed the trusts' function recently, the outcome of which shows that there is scope to significantly grow this area of activity. Full support will be given to the Trust Fundraising Manager to enable this growth to happen.
You will be a motivated self-starter able to write, budget and communicate effectively. You will develop relationships with ease and feel able to positively influence colleagues at all levels of an organisation. The position requires someone with a positive attitude who is determined and resilient.
