Our Community Fundraisers are the face of Marie Curie in their local communities, building relationships and networks with a wide and varied range of supporters. From local businesses to local fundraising groups and everyone in between. Reporting to the Head or Deputy Head of Region and working closely with some of the most talented fundraising people in the charity sector, your role will be to provide support and guidance to people who fundraise and volunteer for Marie Curie across our regions, helping them achieve their ambitions and ultimately raise vital funds for Marie Curie. 

The Community Fundraiser role is one where you just don’t know what happens one week to the next as you never know who will choose to support Marie Curie in your community! 

The role would suit someone who can be flexible and react in a calm, measured manner to whatever the day brings, who is excited by potential and is ambitious, and who can deliver a high standard of customer service (supporter stewardship) to everyone they meet. 

Community Fundraisers are remote/hybrid based, with some presence expected at your local office or Hospice. This isn’t a role where you will be behind a desk every day, a good Community Fundraiser has a willingness to be out and about within your region meeting and supporting fundraisers.

My client who is the UK’s independent public spending watchdog supports Parliament in holding the government to account and helps to improve public services through providing high-quality audits.

Located in the heart of London close to several excellent transport links, you will be part of a creative and dynamic Learning and Development team. This interim L&D position will allow the post holder to work from home up to 3-days per week.

The purpose of the job is to support the L&D team on a key L&D project over the next 2-months. The role is paying up to £300 per day and my client would like someone in post ASAP.

Some of the key responsibilities of this job include:

• Working with stakeholders to identify training needs and scope various training interventions.
• Conducting detailed storyboarding sessions to outline the structure and flow of training programs.

Purpose of your Job:

This is an exciting new role at Centre 33 and will play a key role to support the advancement and successful implementation of an operational plan to fundraise across Corporate and Community opportunities.

We would like to hear from ambitious fundraisers who have experience in these income streams, maybe as a team member, who is looking for the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge further within Centre 33’s growing Fundraising department. The role holder will work closely with the Development & Partnerships Lead and Director of Development & Partnerships to help create an operational plan and will then have ownership of delivering the plan and the associated income target. Start Network is an independent charity that works with Save the Children UK, which acts as a grant custodian for Start Network.

Start Network’s vision is for a locally led humanitarian system that is accountable to people affected by and at risk of crises. They aim to achieve this vision by making system-level shifts in how humanitarian assistance is approached and delivered.

For this role, you can be based in either in the UK, Kenya or Zimbabwe. This role is offered on an initial 18-month, part-time (0.8) contract, paying a salary of £42,707 - £46,977 (FTE) per annum with flexible working arrangements at their Holborn, London office (if UK based). There will be expected travel to visit the Hubs, around 3-4 times per year.

As the Resource Mobilisation Manager (Hubs), you will play a critical role in Start Network’s strategy and this will require you to bring expertise in setting up income streams, coordinating stakeholders internationally and securing new income from donors. As most of the Hubs are new, you will need to provide support including capacity-building, donor-mapping, direct engagement on behalf of the Hubs with donors, and other activities.

We are working with a lovely health charity who are looking for an interim Database Officer to join their team for an initial 3 month contract. This is a fast moving role with a potential start date of 12th August.
 

This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of the charity's donor data and financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Fundraising CRM (Raisers Edge NXT) through data import, cleaning, and maintenance tasks.
• Process all donations accurately and timely, including cash, cheques, credit cards, Just Giving, standing orders, Direct Debits, and vouchers.
• Ensure correct coding of payments and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Enhance the efficiency of donation processing in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
• Train and support fundraising team members in effective database usage.
• Collaborate with the Database Manager and team members on data coding, file imports, and financial processing.
• Import and clean financial and non-financial data files from various sources, including online registrations.
• Reconcile post-import reports against original data to verify accuracy.
• Create and update database records to maintain data quality standards.

Person Specification

• Knowledge and demonstrable experience of working with Raiser’s Edge, to input supporter and gift details, import data and produce queries and reports.
• Excellent numeracy skills. 
• Experience using ImportOmatic
