We have an opportunity to join our Fundraising Team as Fundraising Officer, raising the funds that enable young people to benefit from our life-changing programmes.
The majority of the successful candidate’s time will be spent in growing an already established Trusts and Foundations income stream; you will be responsible for writing applications to and managing relationships with small and medium grant-makers (giving up to c.£10k). You will have the autonomy to manage your own portfolio of new and existing funders, with support from the Head of Fundraising, and will support the wider fundraising team with research needs.
This is an exciting time to join the Power2 fundraising team, as we aim to grow and diversify our income sources. The successful candidate will therefore have the opportunity to be involved in the growth and development of new areas of fundraising and to be involved in activities reflecting their own interests and career aspirations.
Direct experience is not essential for this role – more important is that you possess transferable skills and can demonstrate experience in distilling complex information from a range of sources and communicating it in a persuasive, engaging way to different audiences. The successful candidate will therefore have excellent communication skills, be highly numerate and a great team player and collaborator.
We operate hybrid working, and this role can be based at either our London or North-West (Ashton-under-Lyne) office, with at least one day working in the office per week. We offer flexibility as to when the role’s hours are worked, and exact working patterns can be discussed at interview.

The Head of Donor Development & Impact is crucial in driving Choose Love's strategic and financial growth and impact. - You will manage petty cash payments, perform cash counts, and reconcile the cash tin.
- You will work alongside the Senior Finance Officers to allocate incoming funds to income accounts and resolve discrepancies.

This is a vacancy for an established but growing Corporate and Community Fundraiser role in a Berkshire based charity, generating funds from local businesses and community groups, events and individuals.
Camp Mohawk is a local but widely known and highly respected organisation, providing support services to children and young people with special needs and their families from our beautiful woodland site in rural East Berkshire. Camp Mohawk supports over 700 families from across the South / South East region, seeing over 17,000 visitors each year.
Many of our families and young people find it extremely difficult to access public play and leisure facilities, and the challenges they face with day-to-day life means that they are at significant risk of social isolation and deteriorating mental and physical health. Recent studies have found that families who have a child with special needs are experiencing significant pressure on their family finances, over and above those being experienced by the general population. Camp Mohawk is committed to a voluntary contribution system of charges for the families who use our service and with very limited government / local authority funding available we are therefore almost entirely reliant on grants and donations to make up our annual income requirements.
We have a vacancy for a dynamic, driven and experienced individual to join our small fundraising team, focussing on generating income from corporate and community sources and working closely with our Grants and Trusts Fundraiser. The successful applicant will be a superb communicator, with proven presentation and / or public speaking experience, allowing them to engage and enthuse diverse audiences of all ages. They will possess the skills and confidence to create and deliver persuasive presentations, write press releases, produce posters, leaflets and other written communications, and maintain and build our social media following on a variety of platforms. Experience of planning and co-ordinating events and/or fundraising challenges, managing teams of volunteers and making pro-active approaches is desirable. They will possess good IT skills and will have a good understanding of financial reporting.
Working primarily from home or remotely (due to space limitations in our small office!), they will be highly self-motivated, driven and possess exceptional organisational skills. The role involves frequent travel locally for the purpose of visiting current and new contacts in the community and attending events, therefore the successful candidate will live locally and will need their own transport. As a War Pension & Compensation Adviser, you will provide crucial support to beneficiaries by guiding them through their appeal process and representing them before the War Pensions and Armed Forces Compensation First Tier Tribunal. Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing Cases for Tribunal: Thoroughly reviewing case files to ensure all necessary information is included, understanding beneficiaries' reasons for appeal, and advocating for the importance of RBL's support in their cases.
- Advising Beneficiaries: Conducting advice sessions prior to hearings to summarise findings, outline what to expect at the tribunal, and explain the next steps in the appeal process.
- Presenting Cases: Drafting clear, persuasive arguments on behalf of beneficiaries and presenting a cohesive case before the Tribunal.
- Managing Caseloads: Overseeing a portfolio of beneficiaries, progressing cases to listing status, and identifying any additional needs, with referrals to other RBL teams as needed.

What the job involves
We’re seeking a Digital Channels Officer to join our Web Operations Team covering maternity leave on a fixed term basis.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing content for our website, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and impactful. You’ll be responsible for publishing digital updates via the content management system (CMS) to ensure timely, high-quality, and consistent content across the website. Working closely with colleagues across Prostate Cancer UK, you’ll provide guidance on our online presence and help deliver engaging digital experiences for all our audiences.
Your day-to-day will include editing, proofreading, and publishing content that resonates with our audience. You’ll also help train internal teams on our content management system.
Collaborating with our Web Operations Team, you’ll spot opportunities for improvement and contribute to larger projects, helping us continually improve our site and deliver results more efficiently.
What we want from you
We’re looking for someone with solid experience in writing, editing, and proofreading web content who is comfortable authoring basic HTML and preparing web images with accessibility requirements in mind. You'll be skilled in using content management systems (ideally Umbraco) to build and update web pages.
You’ll need the technical skills to author and edit basic HTML, as well as prepare and edit images for the web. A solid working knowledge of interpreting website analytics, including experience with Google Analytics and search engine optimisation techniques, is essential. You’ll be an excellent communicator, skilled at explaining complex analytics and technical details in a clear, approachable way for non-technical colleagues.
In this role, you’ll also need the ability to prioritise tasks and handle tight deadlines, negotiate effectively, and manage challenging conversations when needed. The Vacancy
We are offering in interesting and varied opportunity to support the work of the Connexional Team and the wider Methodist Church in our Legal and Constitutional Practice team.
Working alongside the Conference Officer for Legal and Constitutional Practice and colleagues within the Legal and Constitutional Practice team, you will be providing executive support to the Law and Polity Committee, and working on operational and policy issues relating to Methodist constitutional, charity governance, trusts and property matters.
About You
We are looking for someone who wants to make a positive contribution to good charity governance, enjoys matters of detail, and is interested in supporting the work of the Church.
You will preferably have experience supporting governance bodies and working within a regulatory environment.
It is essential that you are experienced in producing reports for governance bodies, and taking minutes for them. You will need to be able to assimilate new information quickly and keep abreast of rapidly changing legislation, situations and work themes.

Are you highly organised, resourceful, and passionate about making a difference? The Baobab Centre is seeking an Operations and Admin Assistant to support our vital work with young asylum seekers and refugees.
In this varied role, you’ll work closely with the Operations Manager and admin team to ensure the smooth running of our Centre by managing administrative tasks, assisting with IT and communications, and supporting operations and fundraising initiatives. You’ll also play a part in amplifying the voices of our community through social media and helping with community engagement activites.

This role is for 3 days per week depending on your preference. Working on Wednesdays is essential to provide reception cover.

The Baobab Centre is a non-residential therapeutic community that supports young asylum seekers and refugees who have experienced human rights abuses and have sought asylum in the UK as unaccompanied minors. Our two focus areas are rehabilitation and justice.

Mental Health: All of the young people Baobab supports suffer significant mental health and developmental difficulties and many function in an unstable and more immature way than their chronological age. Due to their experiences it takes time to gain trust from the young people in our community. As a core member of our team, you will understand the impact of specific human rights abuses on the development of children and young people in exile and their individual experiences of loss, trauma and grief on their mental health and well-being.
Baobab’s Model: Please read the accompanying ‘Baobab Clinical Context and Model’ document for a detailed introduction. It often takes a significant amount of time to understand Baobab’s model of working, which aims for rehabilitation and justice through attending to both the internal and external world of each young. It is important that you strive to have an insight to the experiences of both the internal and external factors impacting on the lives of unaccompanied young people attending our centre. It is also important that you understand the ways in which UK society and policy impacts on young asylum seekers (including invisibility, marginalisation, discrimination, and the fact of waiting in uncertainty for a long time).
Multi-disciplinary Working: Baobab aims to be a reflective, thinking organisation and we place a high value on shared thinking time, sharing responsibilities and working together with others. A key aspect of the role is communicating and working in a holistic way.

The Details
This job is all about working with the local third and public sector to engage with local people to create change. To make this happen the role has three key bits to it:
• listening to what local people want (gathering the insights)
• building a vision for a ‘better way of doing things’ (planning to make change)
• getting stuck in to support our clients and wider team to make things happen (doing the stuff we’ve planned).
Each day you’ll be shaping and delivering Capacity’s current and future projects, managing expectations, excitement, and priorities – keeping a smile on your face and a spring in your step. Even on the busiest of days our Designers and Doers remind themselves why they’re in it, finding the get-up and go to make public services, people services.
The to-do lists you write and the skillsets you engage will vary hugely, one day you might be working on recruitment strategies for social workers, the next on service design for family early help, another strategy planning for a primary care team. When job descriptions say ‘no day is the same’ that can often feel twee, at Capacity – it’s a promise.
You’ll spend your time being proactive – delivering on our promises to clients and local people, whilst staying ready to catch any ‘off-project’ work that might need sorting along the way. You’ll support us to get new clients on board but also play a key role further engaging our existing ones, making sure they continue to feel connected to Capacity and proud to be involved in the work we’re doing.
The projects we deliver are often complex and things won’t always work out. For that reason, you’ll be open and honest about what’s working, what isn’t and where you might need extra support.
