About the role

The Research Officer will contribute to the Insights Hub’s qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research.

This role supports the Research and Insights Manager with research projects including our flagship UK Civil Society Almanac, designing and analysing data, writing reports, and presenting findings to diverse stakeholders.

The Research Officer will also coordinate the Research Ethics Committee (REC) work, manage client relationships, and oversee research administration.

About the role

We currently have 80 staff members using Salesforce daily. This role provides technical expertise to the CRM users and wider charity, while also carrying out vital audits, project support and administrative duties.

The role of Junior Salesforce Administrator works together with the rest of the team, managed by the Database Manager, to ensure users and projects are supported efficiently and that our Salesforce instance is effectively maintained and maximised.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to support tickets from internal stakeholders, performing analysis, information gathering, troubleshooting, and escalating while communicating through our support tickets system. 
• Monitoring on-going processes and correcting/escalating any issues that occur. 
• Managing data and keeping records accurate, up to date and consistent. Performing audits to identify irregularities across the system.
• Building Salesforce reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
• Create, edit, and maintain Salesforce list views, objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and users. 
• Deliver and support with training and development of all users including their initial induction, as well as follow up training sessions and clinics.
• Assist with testing new enhancements and add-ons from Salesforce releases and custom internal enhancements.
• Create technical and functional documentation. 
• Creating and connecting Form Assembly forms.

Waterloo Uncovered is the ground-breaking charity that combines world-class archaeology with veteran recovery and wellbeing.  Since 2015 we have been supporting veterans and serving military personnel, through programmes centred around the archaeology of the Waterloo battlefield.  For example, learning archaeological skills through excavation on the battlefield supported by a wellbeing team, bringing the artefacts discovered at Waterloo to beneficiaries in their community, or supporting beneficiaries to explore archaeology and history of conflict through our online programme.  All our programmes link conflicts past to conflict present, as beneficiaries uncover, recover and discover.  

As Administrative Assistant you will be part of our small, dynamic, and passionate team, which is supported by an extensive network of volunteers.  You will work closely with the Chief Executive on all aspects of our administration in support of our operational delivery, communications, fundraising and outreach.

Key responsibilities:

• Programme administration, engaging directly in support of beneficiaries for onboarding, logistics and follow up, answering enquiries and general tasks.

• Customer service, responding to email and telephone enquiries and correspondence.

• Database and spreadsheet management, including managing contacts and suppliers, as well as donor and volunteer data on our CRM system and digital filing.

• Processing financial and accounting requirements, including invoices, payroll, expenses and supplier payments.

What you will need

The Role

We have recently launched our new CRM based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, and are looking for a CRM Manager to join an end user Charity in Central London. The Charity has a direct front end CRM user base of around 30 staff. It also has a power platforms bespoke portal for between 64-120 regional staff to login to, who contribute to the membership programme, creating new memberships and managing the renewals process which happens each year. It also has a power portals Donation portal which directly integrates to Dynamics 365 and Business central. This role is to support our internal staff (30) and external Staff (120) with the day to day activities ensuring business processes are fit for purpose and seek out possible improvements in the long term roadmap.

Key Functional Areas

• Data architecture– Lead on the review and structure of data on CRM.
• Systems Governance - Ensuring system best practices are followed, producing dashboards to identify common errors to follow up with users offering tailored training for common issues.
• Training and Support - training of new members, ongoing training and refreshing areas where common issues are found in regular training sessions all staff and portal users can attend.
• Information Governance and Data Protection - Ensuring data is kept up to date and added in the correct formats and standards. Leading on data compliance and legalisation for the charity

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. About the Role

As Data & Digital Operations Manager at Smart Works, you will play a pivotal role in managing the charity’s digital infrastructure and working as part of a team to ensure that the organisation is able to measure its impact, and that digital operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will oversee IT systems, digital platforms, and cybersecurity measures, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation, and playing a crucial role in Smart Works’ next steps in digitising our service. 

The role requires someone who is confident using data and digital platforms, who can apply them with a hands-on approach. The ideal candidate will balance day-to-day digital infrastructure administration with the management of relationships with external IT providers, and digital tools such as databases and online referral forms. You will also take ownership of Smart Works' internal staff platform, implementing upgrades and training staff where necessary. 

You will take a leading role in managing the digital infrastructure associated with the client service, including overseeing contracts with external providers, and making amendments to Dynamics CRM. You will be responsible for actioning local centre queries and change requests to maintain consistent, high-quality digital operations.

In addition, you will work closely with the Head of Data & Impact on ad hoc data and analysis requests across functions, helping to inform strategic decision-making across all Smart Works centres, as well as to ensure the organisation remains fully compliant with GDPR regulations, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining robust data protection practices.

SLRA is a well established local migrant support organisation working alongside refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants who are at risk or in crisis due to immigration issues. We are looking for a Youth Caseworker to work alongside young refugees, asylum seekers and other young migrants who are at risk or in crisis, to ensure that they can access their statutory rights and achieve their full potential. The Youth Caseworker will provide holistic casework, advice and practical support to young people aged 14 to 24 years, working closely with statutory and voluntary organisations to ensure that the immediate and longer-term needs of young people are met.

As the Senior Virtual Products Executive, you’ll be responsible for leading the development and delivery of mass fundraising products. Working collaboratively across teams, you’ll drive ambitious targets, co-create and implement robust marketing and recruitment plans, and introduce innovative ideas to enhance participant engagement.

You’ll take ownership of product performance and budgets, ensuring we hit our KPIs and maximise fundraising income. By partnering with external agencies and internal stakeholders, you’ll deliver first-class supporter journeys and use data and insights to continuously optimise product performance.

The P&C Administrative Assistant will be based in our London office (two days a week), sharing time between general HR administrative and general office support duties. The role will support the People & Culture function on general HR and administrative tasks.

• Monitoring shared P&C inbox, addressing enquires in a timely manner.
• Collecting and maintaining various HR trackers and databases.

Senior Housing & Welfare Advice Worker’s post

The Manna Day Centre is a drop-in Centre for homeless and vulnerably housed single men and women. It is run by a team of project workers, under the Director, who are responsible for its smooth operation. Basic Services offered include food, showers, clothing, housing & welfare advice, medical care, and access to laptops. The Centre opens to service users 7 days a week, 8.30am– 1.30pm. The working week for this post is Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm each day.

The Senior Housing & Welfare Advice Worker must have a commitment to homeless people, which includes acceptance and respect. Responsibilities are shared among the team according to needs, skills and aptitudes. The annual salary is negotiable (depending on your experience) ranging from £33,775 to £41,359. Benefits include a pension scheme, travel loans and 25 days annual leave (plus time in lieu of bank holidays worked).
