As Reward and Benefits Manager in the People Operations team, you will be the subject matter expert on all aspects of employee reward, ensuring Dementia UK has effective, fair and transparent pay practices, and a benefits package that sets us apart.
Working closely with the People and Finance teams, you will lead the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant monthly processing for a headcount of circa 300 staff. You will manage all employee benefits for the charity, liaising with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms, and proposing updates and improvements. Additionally, you’ll provide training and support to the People team to enhance their knowledge of reward practices, and will ensure our pay and benefits offering is effectively communicated across the charity.
As our pensions expert, you’ll ensure compliance with relevant regulations across the Dementia UK Aviva and NHS pension schemes, including auto-enrolment. You will act as the main point of contact between the charity and our pension and payroll providers, fostering strong, productive relationships. You will also lead the annual pay review process, conducting market research, analysing relevant data, and recommending an organisational approach. With expertise in job evaluation, you will perform evaluations and advise on role design to ensure a consistent approach is applied.
To succeed in this role, you will bring experience in managing payroll and pensions administration, along with a strong understanding of best practices in staff reward and benefits. You will have worked within a UK HR department and possess a solid knowledge of UK employment legislation relating to employment, reward, pensions, payroll, and GDPR compliance.

This post provides support to the compliance team with the administration of compliance activities in Look Ahead and third-party landlord properties. Compliance covers areas such as Fire Safety, Asbestos, Legionella, Electrical Safety, Gas Safety and Lifts insurance inspections.
This post will maintain systems and contracts and works closely with contractors, landlords and colleagues within the asset management and central services teams.
The focus is to administer the delivery of a high-quality service that ensures:

The management of incoming compliance documents, including initial Quality Assessment and uploading onto the appropriate systems.

What you'll do:
Operational
First point of contact for all areas of compliance.
Ensure all compliance is completed in line with Look Ahead policies and procedures in compliance with Health and Safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
Be responsible for the data management of incoming compliance documents, including initial QA (for accuracy and suitability) and uploading onto the appropriate systems.
Maintain accurate compliance records and update IT systems from the activities of the compliance service.
Produce KPI's on a weekly basis for the management compliance meetings.
To co-ordinate the activities of contractors, consultants and staff relating to access and corresponding with customers.

Contract Management
Deliver contract administration on asbestos, legionella, fire, electrical, gas and lift contracts (planned testing, inspection and servicing, responsive repairs and improvement works).
Make visits to site to monitor contractor performance against key performance indicators.
Provide day-to-day contact for all relevant contractors and work with them to ensure the correct planning and programming of compliance services.

Ovacome has been providing support and information to people affected by ovarian cancer since 1996. We run a wide range of services including a support line, peer support groups, awareness campaigns, and health and wellbeing events across the UK. About the Role
As Community Fundraising Officer, you’ll play an integral role in growing our supporter base and enhancing community engagement. You will support individuals and groups to organize their own fundraising activities, attend events, and collaborate on campaigns that raise awareness and vital funds for our services. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering excellent supporter care to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Assisting with the planning and execution of fundraising events, from online raffles to annual galas.
- Attending community events to represent Ovacome and support and onboard fundraisers.
- Managing Ovacome’s online shop by fulfilling orders and maintaining stock levels.
- Creating engaging content for our social media, website, magazine, and newsletter.
- Managing and maintaining accurate records of donations and supporter activities using our database.
- Working closely with our communications team to promote campaigns and events.
This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone with a flair for organization, an enthusiasm for community-building, and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic individual who thrives on building relationships and is eager to contribute to our important work. You will bring:
- At least six months of experience in customer service, supporter care, or a related role (voluntary or paid).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an understanding and approachable personality.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and IT systems.

Individual Giving is a major contributor to net income at the Macular Society. We have ambitious targets over the following five years and plan to grow our fundraising programme to ensure we meet the needs of our members and donors. The Individual Giving Marketing Officer will support with recruiting and developing new supporters to deliver long term income to help Beat Macular Disease.
