As a business partner to budget holders, the role will provide leaders with the knowledge, insights, and tools to strengthen budget management and forecasting, building on the supportive and engaged relationship the finance team already fosters across the organisation. You will work closely with the Director of Finance and Operations on finance strategy and change management projects.

We have been part of the wider Debt Free Advice partnership for over a decade and have success in delivering high quality debt advice to local residents who are facing financial difficulties. The demand for the service in light of the cost of living crisis has increased substantially over recent years and we are looking to expand our team.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Debt Adviser who has a proven track record in helping and assisting clients facing financial difficulties and providing creative solutions to help alleviate their challenges in a sensitive and supportive role. They will have an awareness of having successfully provided debt advice in a regulated environment. They will have experience of supporting and supervising a team, and monitoring their performance to ensure this remains in line with internal and external requirements.
The successful candidate would be expected to work a hybrid model of delivery - in an office environment, outreach sessions as well as home based. They would be expected to provide advice via omni-channels such as face to face, telephone and email advice.
Main Responsibilities:
● Provide casework covering the full range of debt - Interviewing those that access our service using sensitive listening and questioning skills in order to allow them to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities.

You will be a Youth and Wellbeing Practitioner/Assistant Psychologist who is passionate about supporting MAC-UK’s objective of working collaboratively with young people, innovating services and systems and their approach to mental health, to address health and social inequalities. We aim to support services to be more accessible, flexible and responsive to excluded groups, and to change the systems that lead to and maintain inequality. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to develop their skills in youth and community work and/or working towards a qualification (degree equivalent) in Youth Work, Social Work, Therapeutic Practice, Clinical/Educational/Forensic/Counselling Psychology.
We are very excited to be part of a pilot service, new in England working as part of a consortium of four organisations, alongside Lambeth Council. This will be a residential support service for young people aged 16-24 years at risk of serious youth violence, who are already caught up in the criminal justice system and at high risk of remaining part of the system.
You will be working in one of three London properties alongside a large multi-agency staff team made up of experts by experience/profession in psychology and therapy; youth work; offending; education, training, and employment (ETE) and housing. The service will work creatively and holistically to enable young people to exit environments involving youth violence, identify and reach their goals and aspirations, move on successfully to appropriate independent living, and importantly to sustain this life. Wherever possible staff and young people will co-produce what this service looks like and what activities the young people engage in. This is a great opportunity if you are interested in therapeutic practice, and developing or using your therapeutic skills alongside the area of social action.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the main objective of the Accounts Receivable Assistant is to reinforce strong financial controls and careful management of the Party’s income. This role is ideally suited to someone with some experience in finance or accounts looking to step up or someone who has worked within a conference and events environment in a similar administrative role looking to transition into finance.
Duties will include:
- Coordinating and processing the day-to-day funds raised by the Treasurer’s team in our accounts package Access Financials and donor CRM (Raisers Edge).
- Coordinating and accounting for transactions processed through digital payment solutions.
- Support direct mail fundraising, coordinating the processing of responses and receipts.
- Work closely with these teams to process charges generated from their databases and ensure invoices are raised accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Ensure cash receipts are posted to the appropriate accounts and the appropriate VAT treatment applied.
- Support the account management of key clients; to ensure the booking and billing process is smooth and their commercial experience is seamless.
- Preparation of daily Treasurer’s cash report and weekly income reports for distribution to stakeholders.
- Manage aged debtor balances and the receivables ledger, ensuring that strict procedures are followed to mitigate bad debt through structured debt collection procedures.
- Complete month-end/year-end closure procedures including monthly bank reconciliations.
This position will be based at the Conservative Party’s central Leeds office and requires four days per week of working from their office. It is an exciting time to join Alzheimer's Society and the Group Facilitator role will ensure people affected by dementia are able to meet others in a similar situation, access the support they need whilst enjoying meaningful and often exciting activities.
Our groups in South Devon are an integral part of the community and to people living with Dementia, they have been a life line to many. The groups include 2 memory cafes that operate once a month and 2 Singing for The Brain groups, that operate twice a month. The facilitator will attend these groups and support the volunteers in activities, organising speakers and bringing the group together. The successful candidate will be managing a supportive and experienced team of dedicated volunteers.
You will:
- Setup, promote, establish, organise and facilitate or deliver group(s) and ensure that all attending are supported to fully engage in the session.
- Recruit and guide volunteers that the volunteers have clarity about their roles and undertake appropriate training.
- Take views and feedback of service users, taking into account the individual needs of members of the group.
- Assist the service users to feel welcome and to understand the aims and benefit of the group(s), and welcome all new attendees, providing information about the group.
- Proactively support an inclusive and welcoming working environment where all people we support feel able to be themselves.
About you
We are looking for a compassionate, supportive person with a good understanding of dementia and how it impacts both the person with the diagnosis and the carer. Our role requires excellent communication skills to engage people in group activities, ensuring the person with dementia can fully participate as well as the carer. The Alzheimer’s Society also offers a wide range of training and opportunities to enhance your knowledge base.
You will:
- To understand the importance of volunteers in group services and the ability to role manage volunteers to support them in their role.

About Seashell Trust
Originally founded in 1823, Seashell Trust is a nationally recognised and registered charity based in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport. The Trust comprises of the Royal School Manchester, the Royal College Manchester, bespoke Residential Care Homes, Outreach Health and Family Services that support over 8,000 people a year. In 2015 we raised £10 million to build our residential care facility Sir Norman Stoller Way and in 2023, opened The Moulding Foundation building, a £25 million home for Royal School Manchester. About the role
Your role will contribute to Seashell’s ambitious plans to grow income over the next five years, so that we can deliver the very best education and care for our children and young adults.
Key Responsibilities
· Raise income in line with agreed personal and team fundraising targets
· Develop and prepare bespoke funding applications for capital, restricted and unrestricted projects
· Maintain and develop existing relationships with small and medium-sized trusts and foundations and support prospecting to grow the portfolio.
· Record financial and other data relating to trusts, foundations and major donors on our CRM, in line with GDPR guidelines.
· Maintain accurate income records and ensure donations are acknowledged in a timely and appropriate way.
· Share project information, budgets and statistics gathered for appeals with the wider fundraising team.
· Ensure student information in funding appeals is appropriate and consented for use.
· Work with the fundraising team to support tours of the campus and host supporters at Seashell fundraising events on occasional evenings and weekends.
What you will need for the role:
· Previous experience in a fundraising role for a charitable organisation.
· Demonstratable track record of income generation through trust and foundation fundraising.
· Knowledge of technology and IT Systems, including Microsoft Office and CRMs.
· Experience of financial management including developing income spreadsheets and raising invoices.
· Excellent communication and relationship development skills.

About the role

As a Dementia Adviser, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide support, information, and guidance to people with dementia and their carers; helping to maintain their independence, improving their sense of well-being, and putting them in more control of their lives.
The service is unique to each service user as it is based upon their personal circumstances and support needs. You will offer support to your clients in a variety of ways, whether in the client's own home, or at other locations in the community, face to face, by phone, letter, or email. You will also assist service users to access other services, providing signposting and referrals.

- Supporting people affected by dementia, families and carers to access vital services.
- Improving people’s sense of well-being, enabling them to have more control over their lives.

Research, Advisory and Policy Department (RAP)
The Research, Advisory and Policy Department (RAP) of 9 staff facilitates learning and provides guidance to improve peace policy and practice inside and outside CR.
RAP is responsible for the Accord publication series and cross-organisational research programmes, thematic policy advocacy, and the organisational approach to, and technical support to Programme Departments and the research team on gender and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) and policy advocacy. The RAP Department includes the CR EU team based in Brussels.
Job Purpose
The Head of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning leads on developing and implementing Conciliation Resources’ strategy, systems and skills for MEL in our peace practice. They ensure that MEL in CR serves to: evaluate the impact of our interventions; improve adaptability and effectiveness of our practice, including the objectives in our Gender Strategy; record, organise and learn from evidence of what works and what doesn’t; improve our knowledge base, culture and practice of capturing and measuring change; and inform CR and the wider peacebuilding sector about how to measure progress in peace initiatives.
The Head of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning acts as the technical lead on MEL, providing thought leadership, strategic guidance and technical advice to Programme and RAP teams on MEL; on learning goals in our Strategic Plan; on measuring progress towards our peacebuilding goals, our Theory of Change and our Results Framework; and on how to use MEL data for different strategic processes.
Scope and Accountability
The Head of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning is accountable to and line-managed by the
Director of Research, Advisory and Policy, and is a member of the Research, Advisory and Policy team. They work closely with CR Programme Departments and partners, Communications and Development teams, and the Executive Management Team. They are a member of the Team Leaders Forum.
Essential Knowledge, skills and experience
- Thorough knowledge of complexity aware approaches and methodologies for MEL at strategic, organisational and project level, including Outcome Harvesting.
- Experience in leading the design and implementation of MEL systems at organisation level.
- Experience of integrating gender into MEL frameworks and approaches.
- Experience of applying different MEL frameworks and techniques, such as logical frameworks, Outcome Harvesting, theories of change and participatory techniques to programme design.
- Experience in delivering MEL training and capacity building support online and in person.
- Experience of staff line management and the procurement and management of consultants.
