The Role:
Planning the project set up
Over the first 6 months of the role and in conjunction with the CEO and Operations Director, you will plan and begin execution of the housing pilot. This will include the development of a fully costed project plan.
Part of the project set up will include working with a wide range of stakeholders: Local Authorities, Landlords or housing providers, Registered Providers, Funders and relevant regulatory bodies.
You will be responsible for securing the use of suitable properties, working with contractors to ensure maintenance and establishing all relevant policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice are followed as well as developing standard operating procedures for service delivery.
With excellent communication skills and working knowledge, you will establish relationships with relevant Housing Benefit departments to ensure income is secured on behalf of our residents and work on gaining Supported Exempt Accommodation Status.
Planning for service delivery
Your role will involve the development and oversight of case management support to all residents, including recruiting and line managing support workers.
Taking into account the wishes and needs of the residents, you will develop a high-quality service which meets regulatory standards and compliance with Regulator of Social Housing Standards.
As a pilot, you will work in conjunction with the Operations Director to monitor outcomes and evaluate the service to ensure we are meeting agreed expectations.

Role Outline
The Benefit and Entitlements Advocate (BEA) is an important position within Stay Safe East. The successful candidate will work closely with our Independent Disability Domestic Violence Advocates and Independent Victims’ Advocates, supporting disabled people who have been impacted by domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime and other forms of crime. You will also work collaboratively with the full-time Benefits and Entitlements Advocate.
The Benefits and Entitlements Advocate will provide support with financial empowerment, income maximisation and help with managing debt. Many of our clients experience economic abuse and it takes empathy and understanding to unpick the impacts.
You will work collaboratively with clients to carry out financial empowerment assessments; creating and delivering on action plans to meet their needs relating to income, budgeting and debt.

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement in the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.
Job Purpose
MAP is in a period of ambitious growth and rapid development, as we respond to the massive humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and in the West Bank and Lebanon. The role of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is to provide leadership, drive and direction in the development and delivery of MAP’s new strategic ambition, maximising the charity’s sustainable impact.
This is a key role for MAP, and it is expected that the job holder would be making a long-term commitment to the organisation. - Provide vision, leadership, direction and drive to achieve MAP’s strategic ambition and mission.

Experience

The Role
The team purpose is to listen to, understand and inspire our supporters and our teams to fundraise with pride in a way that’s both easy and right for them, with the help they need to enable greater giving that is legal, ethical and inspiring to others. Together, the team will provide onboarding and regular data led stewardship touchpoints for supporters across a portfolio currently delivering £4.7m annual income.

A dynamic, friendly and innovative care and support business known for its life-changing services is looking for a dedicated and target driven Income and Housing Officer who can maximise the organisation's rental income collection, effectively manage rent arrears and deal with other breaches of the occupancy agreement.
Managing a patch of 4 units across our services you will ensure that challenging rent collection targets are met but also that everything is done to avoid eviction. Your personal qualities are as important in this role as your work experience.
Working alongside Operational Colleagues, the Income and Housing Officer will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of generic Housing Management services across their patch with the main focus on Income Collection and some ASB management. You will be expected to meet tight KPI's increasing rent collection and carry out rent arrears actions at all stages from the initial warning letters to the eviction stage.
In order to effectively deliver the services listed above to their patch, the Income and Housing Officer will need to work closely with Contract Managers and Support Workers working within our projects to empower and enable them to carry out their responsibilities. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are a pre-requisite to the role. The post holder will be extremely flexible and have the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at one time.

What you'll do:
* Take responsibility for maximising rent collection across a defined patch of Look Ahead's portfolio of properties ensuring that rent collection targets are met and tenancies sustained
* Advise operational teams on their support related arrears management activities, including holding local surgeries with tenants and staff, taking direct control of higher level and more complex arrears cases
* Proactively monitor all current and former accounts within the defined patch and make recommendations to the Contract Manager for appropriate former accounts to be written off or referred to Look Ahead's debt collection agency
* Ensure that the rent collection function is carried out both sensitively and in a timely fashion so as to avoid the build up of excessive arrears and record all case details accurately.
* Ensure that all sign ups within the defined patch are done accurately on the correct type of tenancy and at the correct rent and service charge levels.

As the Senior MEL Officer in the MEL team, you will support the Head of Impact & Learning and the MEL Manager, as well as the Programmes & Impact department and wider team, to measure and analyse the quality and impact of our programming. Department purpose
This role sits within the Programmes & Impact department, which is responsible for the development and delivery of our programmes and services, ensuring they are delivered to a high quality, remain responsive to women entrepreneurs’ needs and have demonstrable impact. The department is divided into three teams: Entrepreneurship, which is responsible for delivery of services such as HerVenture and the four ‘Road to’ programmes, Mentoring, which is responsible for development and delivery of the Mentoring Women in Business programme, and MEL, which is responsible for quality impact measurement, analysis and research.

- Support the development and implementation of MEL systems and tools across Mentoring and Entrepreneurship projects, providing the Foundation with the necessary information to understand our impact and inform programme improvements.

Specific responsibilities
- Programme Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning
- Ensure up-to-date programme monitoring and evaluation materials (surveys, data collection tools and theoretical frameworks) are in place for existing programmes as well as those that are in development.
- In collaboration with colleagues in the Mentoring and Entrepreneurship teams, execute the annual calendar of programme and partner surveys, including uploading and testing the surveys.
- Develop analysis plans aligned to key research questions, programme goals and logical frameworks.
- Collect, clean and analyse quantitative and qualitative programme data aligned to programme goals, logical frameworks, organisational KPIs, and general summaries of findings.
- Collaborate with colleagues on the Mentoring and Entrepreneurship teams to support dissemination of programme findings and cross-site trends internally and externally.
Research and Evaluation
- Provide administrative, logistical and analytical support for programme evaluation and in-country data collection.
- Conduct desk research to support programme implementation and/or provide background and context for research and evaluation findings.
- Collect, clean and analyse data for Foundation-led or commissioned research and evaluations.
- Support development of tools and protocols for qualitative data collection, and conduct remote and in-country fieldwork, as needed.
- Project management and administration
- Attend and document monthly MEL meetings with colleagues in the Entrepreneurship and Mentoring teams.
- Support drafting internal and external reports to donors and in-country partners sharing programme outcomes and recommendations.
- Provide administrative support to the MEL team to organise and archive programme data, and anonymise PII in accordance with GDPR, under the direction of the MEL Manager.

Person specification

Chief Executive Officer reporting to the Chair of the Ampleforth Abbey Trust
Ampleforth Abbey Trust is looking to appoint a dynamic strategic leader to the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Purpose of the role
The post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) leads the works of the Abbey Trust on behalf of the monastic community, providing strategic leadership and managerial oversight of the Trust’s activities. In conjunction with the Chair of the Trust, the post-holder will support the Abbot in ensuring that the needs and ambitions of the monastic community are met, whilst also ensuring that the contents and pace of the Trust’s forward plan align with these needs. The post-holder will work closely with the Abbot to understand fully the needs and plans of the monastery and identify the business challenges and opportunities facing the Trust arising from these.
The post-holder will take the lead in ensuring that staff, volunteers and external stakeholders are engaged in the work of the Trust. They will also maintain a professional relationship with the Head and Bursar of Ampleforth College to ensure effective co-ordination and open communication where necessary.
The CEO is accountable to the Chair of the Ampleforth Abbey Trust and will work in liaison with the Abbot, and the Head and Bursar of Ampleforth College. In addition, they will also work closely with the Co-ordinator of Hospitality and the General Manager to reflect the importance of hospitality, retreatants, groups and general visitors, to the work of the Abbey Trust.
The post-holder will work effectively with all regulatory bodies, particularly the Charity Commission, to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the CEO fall under the headings Strategy, Leadership and Management, with a particular focus on finance.
Strategy
· Developing and leading the implementation of the strategy for the Ampleforth Abbey Trust which supports the needs of the monastic community and the delivery of the Trust’s charitable objects and which has in-built clear key performance measures;
· managing the General Manager and the Finance Manager to ensure the financial sustainability of the Abbey Trust across all of its activities;
· managing the Director of Safeguarding and Wellbeing to ensure that the highest standards of safeguarding are implemented and embedded across all Trust strategies, plans and activities;
· in conjunction with the Clerk/Company Secretary ensuring that matters relating to legislation and governance – compliance, structures, policies and processes – are in place to facilitate efficient and effective working across the Trust in order to improve organisational effectiveness.
Leadership
· providing effective leadership and management to the Trust’s senior officers and finance team, and managing selected Trust-wide contracts (for example, HR, IT and fundraising);
· working with the Chair of trustees to lead and deliver the Trust’s fundraising activities;
· working with the Co-ordinator of Hospitality and General Manager to ensure that the Trust’s activities are supportive of, and aligned with, the hospitality apostolate;
