About us
Who we are
We celebrate the work of disabled artists as change makers, leaders and creatives. We support them to produce ambitious work that is presented and seen from local to global contexts. Disabled artists and disabled-led work are often marginalised by the cultural sector. Our mission is to commission extraordinary work from disabled artists until the whole of the cultural sector does. By showcasing and supporting the amazing breadth and quality of work by disabled artists, we want to open doors for our artists to work with other organisations, too.
We commission new creative works by disabled artists. We also create resources for artists, creatives, producers and the sector to share best practice, insights, toolkits and more.
Our culture and values
- We are Unlimited.
- We value artists.
- We are radical.
- We value equity.
We want to create a world where disabled artists have equity throughout the cultural sector, nationally and internationally. Our mission and values are for the board, staff, freelancers, artists, allies and others with whom we connect. We will ensure they are at the heart of what we do and how we do it.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Our work and our team is disabled-led. Our mission is to commission extraordinary work from disabled artists that will change and challenge the world, until the whole of the cultural sector does. We love inclusivity and value lived experience in all its forms.
People from the global majority*, who are LGBTQIA+, disabled** and/or from working class or low socio-economic backgrounds are particularly encouraged to apply.
* This includes, but is not limited to, people of Black Caribbean, Black African, South Asian, East Asian, South East Asian, West Asian, Arab, Latinx, Jewish, Romany and Irish Traveller heritage.
** This includes but is not limited to, those who define as disabled people, as people with long term health conditions, as deaf, Deaf, neurodivergent or in relation to their health-related access requirements.
People from these groups are still currently under-represented in the arts nationwide, and we’re committed to challenging and changing this.
