What could my day look like?
The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.
In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.
As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort.

This is a new role at Carers Trust to create a database system and a data culture that underpins our ambitious growth plans.
We are investing in donor acquisition, but also in growing our corporate, major donor and grants’ portfolios and you, as champion for data, will be pivotal in this. Leading and being seen to lead at all levels from day-to-day support to strategic development, you will know the details of how databases work, how great data underpins success and how to create enthusiasm and confidence.
In this role you will:
- Be able to create a vision and a strategy for how data will be used to drive growth in our fundraising. You will be the champion for our database.
- Create both the technical systems and processes, and the culture, that ensure our data quality is high.
- Be experienced in integrating other systems into our database so we can effectively integrate data from external systems such as online giving systems or mass email programmes, for example.
- Deliver a training programme encompassing one to one support, workshops, manuals and other activities.
- Work closely with our finance team to ensure our gifts are reconciled with our accounts.

Exciting opportunity to lead and shape specialist residential drug treatment services for women and families. Phoenix Futures are the leading state-funded provider of residential drug treatment services in the UK. As part of our continued development of capacity and specialism in the sector, we are consolidating our specialist provision of services for women and families, and this role will play a key role in the delivery and development of our practice, partnerships and strategy.

We are looking for an exceptional woman to provide senior leadership to two specialist residential rehabs. The National Specialist Family Service a long-standing innovative family residential service that provides for parents and children, and Ophelia House is a trauma responsive female-only treatment service.
You will be understanding and passionate about the gender-specific treatment needs of women, have knowledge of the practical, emotional, social and economic issues facing them, have experience of and a desire to work in trauma responsive settings.
You will also have experience of shaping innovative service and working with families as part of a whole-family approach. You will share our passion for improving access to support/treatment for families (single parents (mums and/or dads) with their child/ren, couples with children, and pregnant women).
We are seeking to develop relationships across the women and family support sector so that we can learn from others and bring best practice and emerging practice (nationally and internationally) into our service delivery. You will have the opportunity to influence Phoenix's strategy and share learning across the organisation and beyond, playing a key role in supporting the women and families national treatment agenda.
This role includes overseeing a women’s-only residential service specialising in providing safe therapeutic environments for those who have experienced multiple disadvantage and those who have experienced past trauma. Therefore there is an Operational Requirement for this role to be fulfilled by a female (determined compliant under ACAS guidelines for recruiting applicants with a protected characteristic to do a certain job).[1]
The Role
This role is a senior operational manager post and will report to the Deputy Director of Operations (TC Specialist). The role has responsibility for managing a portfolio of two specialist residential services:
- Ophelia House, Oxford (Trauma-responsive, female only Therapeutic Community)
- National Specialist Family Service, Sheffield
You will manage CQC Registered Managers and services, along with providing leadership to staff teams across your portfolio of services (portfolio may change over time). These two residential services each provide unique environments and specialism, rooted in the Therapeutic Community approach.
You will be required to attend both of the services depending on need and workplan (located in Oxford & Sheffield respectively), as well as occasional travel elsewhere across England and Scotland.
You will be a member of the Phoenix Senior Management Team (SMT) and influence and shape the future of the organisation. There is the option for hybrid working and flexible/condensed hours would be considered.

About Phoenix
Phoenix Futures has been providing rehabilitation services for over 50 years. In support of the current Drug Strategy in England (From Harm to Hope) and the investment in residential services in Scotland, Phoenix are committed to rebuilding capacity across both countries in the residential rehab sector. In 2022/23 we launched two new residential services (New Oakwood Lodge which is an Enhanced Therapeutic Community in Derby, and Harper House, a National Specialist Family Service in North Ayrshire). In 2023/24 we opened Ophelia House, and 24/25 sees continuing development in NE Scotland.

AllChild (formerly West London Zone) is a non-profit organisation that proactively works with children and their families to flourish socially, emotionally and academically through our tailored Impact Programme. Working with schools, we identify and support children and young people before the need for crisis intervention, connecting them to the help they need through our trusted adult, the Link Worker.
Our Associate Link Worker/Link Worker/Hub Lead is based in the school with the children and young people they are working with on our programme. About you
We’re looking for someone with strong experience of providing generalist advice to managers on all aspects of HR. You’ll use your coaching and influencing skills to foster excellent people practices. Your demonstrable knowledge of employment law and HR best practice will be a key element to your success in this role.
You’ll also have a good experience in supporting with change management and organisational design, including handling TUPE transfers. Your ability to analyse and interpret data will be essential as you draw out insights and deliver concise reports and presentations to a variety of stakeholders.

Purpose of the role:
- To provide innovative, exciting and accessible youth work and youth projects to disabled young people aged 11-25 years old.
- To lead on the “Creating Communities and Opportunities” programme.
- To work alongside Caxton Youth Organisation colleagues to support children and young people from the Westminster community to run our youth programmes.

Required skills, knowledge and qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years experience in the youth work sector.
- A minimum in Level 3 Youth Work.
- A highly motivated and creative youth worker.
- Strong empathy and a person centred approach.
- Experience in shaping and delivering youth work programmes.
- Experience in partnership work and collaborating with external agencies.
- Excellent written and communication skills at all levels.
- A strong understanding of the principles of youth work as a distinctive practice of informal education and voluntary participation.
- A good understanding of inclusive practice including different communication methods e.g. Makaton. Advanced use of Microsoft packages.

The IT 2nd Line Support Analyst will play a key role in supporting the IT strategy and operational plans which supports the charity’s vision, mission and objectives.

This is a maternity cover role with a fixed-term contract of twelve months.
Given the close connection with women who have faced trauma and experienced violence, it is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (as set out in the Equality Act 2010) for the postholder to be female.

Role Title: Interim Programme Director
Reports to: Interim CEO
Hours: 0.6 or 0.8 FTE. This is the equivalent of three or four days a week (22.5-30 hours) but there is mutual flexibility in the structure of how these hours are agreed. Attendance at programme-related activities in Kings Cross, London, at some evening meetings and the occasional weekend (Saturday) work will be required.
Salary: £40,000 pro rata (equating to £24,000 for three days a week or £32,000 for four days per week). Reasonable programme-related travel expenses will be covered (this does not include accommodation).
Location: Hybrid working. Your normal place of work will be from home. However, you will be required to attend all in-person programme-related activities. All in-person work takes place in London (mostly in King’s Cross). In-person activities average to about four times per month across the year.

About Strength & Stem
Strength & Stem is a charity and social enterprise that uses floristry to help female modern slavery survivors experience restoration and empowerment.
Our core programme, “Flowers for the Future”, is led by a small staff team and runs annually from May to January in Kings Cross London. Over nine months, participants complete vocational floristry training, prevocational and wellbeing skills training, mentorship, and work experience to increase their agency, strengthen relationships and wellbeing, and become prepared for employment. Working with flowers, participants gain valuable skills, build a brighter future, and engage with a therapeutic tool to support their healing from trauma.

About the role:
This is a hybrid role, working from home, the Merton Civic Centre with travel to the Victim Support office in Islington. As the Merton Domestic Abuse Service Manager, you will: -
- Work in partnership with other professionals to ensure that risk management and safeguarding duties are effectively met.
- Develop and maintain effective partnership working with statutory, private and voluntary agencies to address the issue of domestic abuse.
