In the Diocese of St Asaph we’ve been successful in acquiring funding to develop two projects that aim to support church growth. To help us deliver these, we’re looking for an experienced project manager, who can rely on their expertise while tailoring their approach to the context and reporting requirements of the Church in Wales. We’re looking for someone with:
- experience in creating detailed project plans to identify requirements, delivery times and costs
- excellent leadership and communication skills, who can
work effectively with key stakeholders - the ability to monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget, and intended quality outcomes.
Requirements

• Compile and submit project status reports to management, the Diocesan Oversight group and other key stakeholders.

• Develop excellent leadership and communication skills to liaise effectively with project stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
Who we are looking for...
We are looking for an experienced project manager, who can rely on their expertise while tailoring their approach to the context and reporting requirements of the Church in Wales.
You should be a self-starter – someone who can combine their creative and time-management skills to motivate and organise local church teams to embrace new initiatives, develop new, innovative projects, and see these through to completion. The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, will be key to success.
You should have experience of reporting on project progress to diverse audiences. Reporting and accountability are key in this role; to support this, you will have direct access to meet with the bishop, as project sponsor. You will be expected to meet regularly – both individually, and together with other project managers across the province – with the nominated officer of the Representative Body, as funder.
You will have experience of working with finance colleagues to ensure that accurate and detailed income and expenditure records are being kept for the project and summarised as part of the regular project reporting.

The role of the Community Development (Wales) is both to inspire and facilitate the CILIP Cymru Wales Committee and to work on other important initiatives. The UK Humanitarian Innovation Hub (UKHIH) is looking to recruit a Communications and Engagement Manager for a Maternity Cover for up to 1 year.
In this role you will have the opportunity to lead processes and activities in support of the design and delivery of the UK Humanitarian Innovation Hub’s (UKHIH) global communications and engagement strategy under the direction and guidance of the UKHIH Director.

We are looking for a new Deputy Centre Manager at our Newport Animal Centre.
- Working hours: 35 hours per week on a shift basis including bank holidays and weekends.
- This is a site based role with the expectation that the successful candidate will be available for stand-by night cover 14 out of 28 days.

The RSPCA Newport Animal Centre, located in Newport, South Wales, is a vital hub for caring for a variety of domestic animals. What makes a great Deputy Manager?
Essential
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.

Desirable
- NVQ Diploma level 2 or equivalent or equivalent qualification in animal care

Managed by the Head of Operations, the role works closely with colleagues across UKHIH and Elrha to manage a portfolio of key relationships, grants and service contracts to a high standard. - Experience of grant and contract management including managing procurement processes, preparing grant agreements and service contracts, and quality assuring delivery and payment plans.

In September 2024 The One Touch Switching Company ("TOTSCo") launched a revolutionary way for UK customers to switch their broadband and landline provider. Job Description
The Head of Finance is a core member of the organisation's structure and is a strategic partner to the CEO in all areas of finance. Responsibilities will include:

You may be required to support the development of groups in North Lincolnshire. This role may also involve work to establish groups on the periphery of this area that currently have no dedicated Development staff.
An essential requirement of the role is to be a driver with access to a vehicle for work purposes.
Key responsibilities:
Service delivery:
- In-person (face-to-face) strategic outreach into local communities including setting up and attending local engagement events.
- Set up and develop sustainable in person peer support groups, initially attending and leading sessions in person before transition to self-sufficiency.
- Working with existing groups that are at risk, closed or need support that need replacing or rejuvenating to maintain DfE service level agreement, in addition to new groups. Targets are subject to change and are not fixed.
- Recruit and retain support group leaders to develop their peer support groups.
- Assist with the delivery of training to support group leaders and groups to become self-sufficient.
- Develop strong boundaried and positive relationships with support group leaders – building resilience, empowerment and community.
- Support established groups (including independent) in your area to access support group leader networks and training (this includes visiting groups in person) to build a peer community.
- Follow (and where appropriate support further development off) the service blueprint to develop sustainable peer support groups.
- Collaborate with the Peer Support Hub team to provide a joined-up and positive user experience for kinship carers.
