We are looking for a dedicated Advocacy Campaigns Manager to join our Advocacy team within Action Against Hunger UK's Operations department. This is a great time to join our team as we broaden the reach of our public advocacy campaigns to a wider audience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead on developing and delivering our advocacy campaigns strategy, and also supporting with policy and parliamentary work. Our advocacy and campaigns focus on tackling the key drivers of hunger – conflict, climate change, poverty and inequality – and promoting improved response.
On the campaigns front, this role means spending around three days on designing and delivering creative and engaging online campaign actions, in collaboration with skilled colleagues across teams, organizing campaign events and building the engagement of chef and food industry supporters in our advocacy. This also requires having a good understanding of the political landscape and opportunities and distilling policy asks into engaging public campaign messaging.
You will also get to spend around two days per week supporting with policy work, such as drafting position papers or letters and working closely with our Head of Advocacy and Parliamentary Relations Manager on MP engagement. Role Overview
The postholder will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that all creative outputs align with our brand identity and communication goals. Additionally, as the organisation undergoes a brand repositioning, the role involves collaborating with our brand agency to facilitate a seamless transition to the new brand identity. Beyond the transition, this role will champion the brand and lead by example in design execution, ensuring continued consistency and adherence to the refreshed brand identity across all creative outputs
About You
You’ll have proven experience as a Graphic Designer; working either in a similar role or in an in-house or agency setting. Your excellent understanding of brand identity, typography, and visual storytelling will come into play whilst creating accessible and inclusive content, and using your skills in Adobe Creative Suite to design for social media, email marketing campaigns, web platforms, paid advertising and printed media. You’ll be someone with a strong management skills, an ability to juggle multiple projects and work to tight deadlines. Experience working in charities, health organisations, or advocacy groups would be an advance, but not essential.

Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although there will be times when you will need to be at face-to-face meetings with your team or our partner agencies, or be required attend a few team away-days each year. In In addition, the charity meets four times annually at its office in Hatfield (or a location in London) for its’ ‘All Staff Together’ days, at which attendance is mandatory.

About the Role:
- Ensure the country office’s strategy is responding to the country’s critical development and humanitarian needs, and is also aligned to Muslim Aid’s global strategy, mission and values.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant Masters level qualification or similar academic achievement, and ideally with an academic focus on international development and/or a related certificate in
- Previous experience working in a Country Director or Regional Director role or other senior level leadership/management position in an INGO environment.
- Experience of working with organisations in developing countries, ideally in South and Southeast Asia.
- Experience of multiple donor grant management and reporting to major donors.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with people at various levels.
- Strong and well-developed analytical skills coupled with experience of writing quality proposals and reports.

We’re looking for a Stories and Media Manager to join our team
Salary: Circa £40,000
Base: Central Edinburgh/hybrid
Hours: Full time and permanent. Working 35 hours a week over core working hours of 10am - 3pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. The office is open 8am - 7pm daily and our hybrid working policy requires all full-time employees to work at least two days a week in the Edinburgh office.

Our ideal candidate will support the delivery of the Club Development programme for TeamUCL and provide support and guidance for student leaders, enabling them to run their clubs effectively. The right candidate will also support with the delivery of the TeamUCL communications strategy. The successful role holder will proactively assist sports clubs in developing sports participation opportunities and performance pathways for identified target groups through development planning.
This is a full time and permanent role. This role is also a hybrid working role, where 40% of the role will be based on campus.

We are looking for a Societies Development Coordinator to provide accurate, consistent and innovative support to the 400+ clubs and societies, committees and volunteers. They will support the delivery of a variety of student led events and activities, empowering and enabling student leaders. This role will put students’ experience at the forefront of everything we do, focusing on providing excellent management of stakeholder relationships, problem solving and risk management with student activities.
The role is a full time and permanent contract. This role is based at our Bloomsbury campus with flexibility to work from home on a 40/60 basis (40% working from the office).
Key Requirements
Do you have experience of organising and managing a variety of events; or enabling volunteers to deliver events? Do you have knowledge and understanding of student activities programmes including clubs, societies and volunteering?

We’re looking for an analytical, detail-oriented professional to join our senior management team as Finance and Operations Manager. You’ll ensure the smooth operation of our financial and legal aid reporting processes and manage office contracts across our three locations.
Salary: £38,700 per annum, plus 4% pension contributions
Reports to: CEO, Trustees, Finance Board of Trustees, and SMT
