The Willesden Area Director of Ministry is a senior member of the Willesden Area Team, responsible for providing visionary leadership and ensuring good management of key ministry initiatives. Specifically, the postholder oversees fostering vocations to lay and ordained ministries, directing ordinands, supervising post ordination training, overseeing clergy ministerial review, development, and training, facilitating lay training programmes, holding diocesan Clergy Well-being portfolio. As a senior member of the Willesden Area Team the Area Director of Ministry will also contribute to strategic planning and implementation of ministry objectives within the Area.
The Willesden ADM serves as the Diocesan Portfolio lead for Clergy Well-Being. Collaborating with The Bishop’s Adviser to the Bishop of London, they work with other Area Directors of Ministry (ADMs), the London College of Bishops, and diocesan and Area colleagues, to create a strategic vision and processes to implement improved Clergy Well-Being across the diocese.
Job responsibilities
Develop Vocations and Support Ordinands
- Organises events to equip and inspire both lay and ordained vocations.

- Leads the AADO team overseeing candidate discernment and ordinand training.

Job Title: Operations Manager
Reporting to: LandWorks Project Director.
LandWorks is a national award-winning project. It is a pioneering rehabilitation and resettlement charity that provides a supported route back into employment and the community for people coming out of prison or at risk of going to prison.
LandWorks is a small organisation with a strong determination to get the best outcomes for its beneficiaries and ultimately influence change in the Criminal Justice System (CJS). The Operations Manager is part of the Senior Leadership Team and will deputise in the Project Director’s absence.
This role might also suit someone currently in a position such as Head of Operations, Operations Director or Chief of Operations in a smaller organisation…They might already be working in the criminal justice or charity sector or have transferable experience in the public or private sectors
This role requires a belief in and commitment to LandWorks’ values. Alongside leadership and operational oversight, advocacy for the organisation's values and beneficiaries is vital.
The Operations Manager will be a real ‘people person’, playing a vital role in supporting and managing staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, maintaining operational efficiency and developing the role.

Job description:
General Management:
· Deputise in the Project Director’s absence or as required.
· Support the Project Director (PD) and Project Co-ordinator to manage and organise daily operations with trainees to help support a trainee’s journey at LandWorks.
· Monitor and take the ‘temperature’ of the site as it operates.
· Occasional out-of-hours trainee phone calls.
· Lead morning team meetings and facilitate afternoon de-brief meetings two days a week, and in the PD's absence.
· Act as a core part of the Senior Leadership Team, to facilitate the smooth running of daily tea breaks and communal lunches, to ensure that all trainees, staff and visitors take part and feel included.
Staff Management:
· Direct line management of the LandWorks enterprise team (that includes the wood workshop, market garden and pottery)
· Oversee HR processes, including recruitment, induction, training, and performance appraisals of the whole LandWorks team.
· Provide team motivation and promote professional development, including identifying training needs and setting team goals, across the whole LandWorks team.
Policy and Compliance:
· Manage and ensure on site adherence to organisational policies and procedures.
· Take responsibility as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Health and Safety lead and Data Protection Officer.
· Support and assist with the mandatory review of organisational polices in consultation with the Charity Manager and PD.
· Managing and responding to risk.
· Inform and gather evidence for the LandWorks External Issues log.
Operational management
· Enhance operational processes for efficiency and compliance.
· Evaluate trainee referral processes and partnerships for improvement.
· Support developing and delivery of graduate support.
Organisational Culture:
· Promote LandWorks’ ethos and positive organisational culture.
· Represent LandWorks at internal and external events.

Beyond recruitment and reward, you’ll act as a trusted partner to senior leaders and managers, offering practical coaching and advice on complex employee relations issues and people management matters. What we want from you
We’re looking for a Senior People Partner who will bring solid experience in HR and recruitment—whether through a CIPD or REC Level 4/5 qualification or equivalent hands-on experience. You’re passionate about people, motivated to make a difference, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
You’ll have in-depth knowledge of current employment legislation and best practice and experienced in building effective relationships with senior leaders, managers and employees, you’ll be skilled at managing complex employee relations cases. You’ll know how to approach people matters with fairness, care, and good judgement and is able to respond constructively to complex situations, supporting fair and balanced outcomes.
You’re someone who builds strong relationships quickly. Whether you’re coaching a manager, advising senior leaders, or supporting a colleague through change, you’re a trusted, approachable presence who communicates clearly and with integrity. Ideally, you’ll also have experience as a line manager.
You’ll have experience supporting recruitment from end to end and analysing recruitment data to spot trends and drive improvements. You’ll also have a good understanding of pay and reward, and how to make sure these approaches are fair, sustainable and aligned with an organisation’s goals.

The Role
As our Deputy Warehouse Operations Manager (Donations) you will be responsible for stock control and stock movement between our Donation Centre and Warehouse and organising deliveries for van drivers to take stock to our shops. This should all be done in accordance with all health and safety regulations. The sorting of donations quickly and efficiently is a fundamental part of this role, and it is expected that a significant proportion of working time will be spent doing this.
Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager (Donations) you will support the management of the volunteer team; the organisation of the weekly logistics, communication to the retail teams regarding their deliveries, and ensuring that any requests for specific stock or returns are well managed.
Specifically, you will:
- Lead the team of employees and volunteers to quickly and efficiently sort donated stock.
- Be responsible for ensuring that donated stock is stored appropriately and safely.
- Identify if any specific donated stock suits the profile/demographics of specific shops in the retail network and ensure that those items are ringfenced and delivered in a timely manner to maximise income for the charity.
- Support the Warehouse Operations Manager (Donations) in managing the daily running of the Donation Centre and warehouse, maintaining policies and procedures.
- Be responsible for planning and administering the weekly logistics, to ensure stock is collected and delivered to the network of shops, and to plan for collections from donors’ homes.
- Support the management of the volunteer rota on a weekly basis to ensure that both the Donation Centre and warehouse are fully operational during opening hours, and minimise lone working.
- Support the management of Donation Centre and warehouse volunteers: This will include recruiting, inducting, managing, motivating, and training to ensure a positive working environment.
- Play an active role as the Duty Manager for the building that you are in, in line with the expectations and requirements of the Business Continuity Plan, and run the site in line with brand standards, and the applicable charity policies and procedures.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- To be trained as a First Aider and Fire Marshal.
- To be ideally educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- To have experience of managing people and volunteers including recruitment and development.
- To have previous experience in a warehouse or distribution role, ideally within a retail or charity environment.
- To have commercial awareness to help build and drive sales coupled with the determination and motivation to help build and drive our retail distribution network.
- To have knowledge and experience of effective stock rotation and management.
- To have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- To be highly organised with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.
- To be able to react to quickly changing dynamics and flexibility.
- To have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop and nurture talent.
- To be able to work on-site in our Yorkshire Cancer Research Centre, Hornbeam Park, Harrogate and Manse Lane, Knaresborough.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced and strategic planner to join RABI as our new Head of Finance & Operations. Experience of investment portfolio oversight, estate management, and working through organisational change will be key to your success in this role.
You will also bring strong planning and analytical skills, an eye for risk and performance indicators, and the ability to present strategic planning insight clearly to executive colleagues and Trustees. Overview
We will be launching our new programme from September 2025, initially as a pilot working with families across Wandsworth, with aims to be able to expand and continue beyond this.

Nutley Edge Activity Breaks are Outward’s supported holidays for adults with learning disabilities and autism. They are five days and four nights long and take place at our beautiful holiday site near Uckfield in East Sussex. Every break is themed and guests take part in a range of activities such as archery, art, music, yoga, and day trips to local towns, cities, and historical sites. Our breaks give guests the opportunity to get away for a holiday, meet new people, and explore the best of East Sussex.

What is the role of the Manager?
As manager, with the support of the deputy(s), you will organise varied and fun breaks for our guests. This includes carrying out assessments for new guests, supporting the team to deliver respite care, coaching the staff team, and embedding high standards in the service. We run 20 breaks a year and wish to grow this number, around about 10 of which are led by the Activity Team Manager on site in East Sussex. During activity breaks food and your own room is provided and an additional sleep in payment for each night supporting a break is paid.
We are a London based charity and welcome applicants for this role on the understanding they are able to support at least 10 breaks throughout a year (providing day and overnight support for 5 days/ 4 nights at a time in East Sussex), are able to travel to our North East London offices to attend meetings and training sessions, and travel to assessments and marketing events as required.
In the role, you will:
• Manage all aspects of the activity breaks

What qualities and experience should the ideal candidate have?
We are looking for somebody who has:
• Experience managing the support provided for people with a learning disability, autism, and complex needs (including behaviours of distress)
• Excellent communication skills and IT skills
• Experience of staff management and the ability to lead by example to develop a strong team
• Creativity and flexibility, with experience of dealing with the unexpected
• Experience carrying out needs assessments and creating support and risk management plans
• A commitment to providing high quality and personalised active support
• A commitment to upholding the rights of people we support to be involved at all levels of decision making.
• A passion for engaging, enabling, and empowering people with autism or a learning disability to lead the lives they want
• Knowledge of managing a budget
• A driving licence and willingness to drive a minibus is desirable

Salary:
- Starting from £42,213.23 - £46,434.55 for base locations outside of London, dependant on experience and location

As our Communications Manager, you will take the lead on internal and external communication activities, leading brand awareness strategic projects. You will work with departments across the organisation to share our work to improve access to reproductive healthcare and rights.

Key Responsibilities:
