Our training programme has three key strands; open (delivered live online), in-house (delivered online and/or face to face with an organisation on a specific theme) and eLearning. The Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (GACD) is a partnership of the world's biggest public research funding agencies. The Associate Members have come together to promote research collaboration and to fund research programmes to address the prevention or treatment of chronic non-communicable diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and mental health issues. GACD specifically focuses on research which will provide essential evidence on the most effective ways to prevent or manage disease in poorly resourced settings in low- and middle-income countries and to improve health equity in underserved indigenous populations.
Reporting to the CEO, the Programme Manager will be responsible for coordination of activities between the Associate Members and lead on the delivery of GACD joint research funding calls in global implementation science on non-communicable diseases.

The Finance Team at Alzheimer’s Research UK is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the Charity and providing timely and accurate financial information. The team is responsible for ensuring there is a strong financial control environment, and for providing support and advice on all finance matters to employees across the charity.

Working hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time (minimum 30 hours per week).
Reports to: Director of Finance and Operations (primary reporting line) Chief Executive Officer (dotted line reporting for governance and Board assurance).
Location: Hybrid (1–2 days per week in the Peterborough office, 3–4 days remote working.
Salary: £40k - £45k FTE (salary will be pro rata for part-time hours) dependent on experience.
