The new government have made positive noises about tackling homelessness, but Homeless Link’s role will be to hold them to account, to make sure the work is prioritised and to inform the choices they make. Homeless Link represents more than 800 member organisations across England working on the frontline of tackling homelessness. Our members know how to deliver change for individuals and also what policy frameworks are needed at local and national level to enable homelessness to be tackled.

The Campaigns Manager sits in the communication team and works very closely with two Policy Managers. Specifically the Campaigns Manager will encourage members to become involved in influencing, working with Ministers, MPs and their local councils. They will develop and implement campaign strategies which maximise the voice of our members in our influencing. The successful candidate will pick up the vital work carried out by our current Campaigns Manager  and encourage even more of our members to get involved.

The TACT London & The East Administration Manager will be an integral member of the Management Team with operational responsibility for three highly dedicated and experienced administrative staff. This team helps Breaking Barriers maximise the value of its data, by conducting analysis and managing the CRM (Salesforce) and related software.

The team works across all areas of the organisation to improve processes, unlock efficiencies through automation and generate insights from data. They ensure that data is utilised to inform any innovations or refinements to our services.

The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial manager with a high level of data literacy. We are looking for someone strategic, highly organised and a strong people and team manager. They will be confident at communicating data in a variety of ways to a large range of audiences, identifying key take-aways and the broader implications of the findings on our clients and programming. They will also be able to train others in key data analysis and communication skills.

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team providing tailored support to clients with multiple and complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance use, offending behaviour, and physical health issues. Using a Biopsychosocial model and working within a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE), you will deliver high-quality, holistic support to help clients achieve stability and move forward in their lives.

• Providing personalised support to clients with multiple disadvantage, including poly-substance misuse, mental health concerns, and histories of trauma.
• Conducting needs and risk assessments, and work collaboratively to develop and implement support plans.

• Supporting clients to develop life skills, manage relationships, build social networks, and access external services and community resources.
• Facilitating group activities and structured interventions as part of our in-house recovery programme.

About the role:

Advance has partnered with Catch 22 to deliver services to young victims of crime in London. In recognition of the distinct challenges facing young women and girls (YWG), Advance will deliver a dedicated service to young women and girls (aged 13 to 18) who have been a victim or witness of crime. This is an exciting time to join Advance as we embark on our journey to reach even more young women and girls in need of support using best practice youth, gender, trauma-informed and holistic approaches.

The YWG Victim Service will provide support to YWG across all London boroughs in our safe, YWG-only spaces and in the community. The YWG Victim Service offers specialist support designed to enable YWG to escape harm and to thrive in their lives and aspirations. The YWG Victim Service achieves this by supporting YWG to build confidence, self-esteem and resilience, manage their health and wellbeing and access and engage with other support services.

The Service Manager will lead and manage Advance’s YWG Victim Service, delivering effective management of a team of frontline Advocates, as well as collaborating with Catch 22 to ensure the Advance team and its service delivery are embedded in the wider CYP Victims Services delivered by Catch 22.

About You:

You will have experience of managing frontline staff, supporting them to follow service delivery processes and procedures to ensure effective and safe service delivery to achieve positive outcomes for young women and girls accessing the Victims and Witnesses service. You will have excellent time management skills to ensure service outcomes are monitored and reported on in a timely and effective manner. You will also have excellent communication skills that will allow you to build good working relationships with your team, the wider organisation and external delivery partners. You will be able to reflect and adapt to manage change and enhance working practices, as well as supporting your team through change. You will have an enthusiastic attitude and instil this within your day to day work and interactions with your colleagues and external stakeholders.

Working in partnership with the London Borough of Newham and East London Foundation Trust, IBIS House supports people who are medically fit for discharge from mental health inpatient stays but have other barriers to discharge. These may include housing, living skills, accessing benefits or the community, or other interventions and will be on a person-centred basis. The main aim of the service is to provide short-term support to customers to link with longer-term services to reduce escalations in need and reduce inpatient readmission and reduce pressure on inpatient beds.

The shift pattern for this role includes 40 hours per week, including weekends and Bank Holidays. The shift Pattern includes 08:00-16:00 and 14:00-22:00

What you'll do:

Assessing referrals received by the service, within the 4-hour target, and providing rapid response to these.
Inducting new customers and helping orient them to the community and local area
Completing/supporting housing referrals as required, supporting customers with budgeting tools and providing support to customers in accessing any benefits or addressing any issues such as benefits.
Building a relationship with the local borough and any key agencies. For example: no recourse to public funds teams, homelessness teams, community mental health teams etc.
Support planning, including ward management liaison, medication profiles and medication reviews as required, identifying the goals and steps to support customers to manage their own support and risk and ensuring these are correctly documented within Look Ahead's paperwork
Proactively engaging in learning and development activities to increase knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis
Monitoring and reporting on customer interactions, including escalation of any concerns or changes in customer's presentation or welfare.
