St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity exists so that everyone has a safe place to call home, providing emergency financial help that can transform a person’s circumstances within days. The Charity also funds a range of projects across the UK, providing innovative services within healthcare, legal advice and mental health support to facilitate a long-term transition out of homelessness. The Charity is at a pivotal stage in their development, building on the hugely successful BBC Radio 4 Appeal that will enter its 100th Anniversary in 2026. 
 
The Fundraising Coordinator will play a pivotal role within the Supporter Services team, ensuring transactions and donations are processed according to strict guidelines. This role covers for the Supporter Care Officer during absences to maintain exemplary service, ultimately ensuring the development of long-term loyalty amongst our supporters. Key duties include: 

• Manage daily tasks including post opening, cheque processing and banking. 

• Work with CRM Manager to ensure all records are accurate and current. 

• Propose and collaborate on admin improvements within the Fundraising department. 

• Feedback on updates from the Fundraising Regulator and other key organisations. 

• Conduct Regular Giving admin, ensuring Donors are contacted for missed payments. 

• Undertake special projects as required, such as prospect research. 

• Serve as the secondary contact for supporter enquiries via telephone, email and mail. 

• Ensure Gift Aid Declarations are scanned and accurately processed onto Donorfy. 

 
We’re looking for the following skills and experience: 
  

• Proven experience of providing admin support in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the charity sector. 

• Proven experience of working in a customer facing role. 

• Familiarity with GDPR principles, ICO, HMRC and other relevant regulatory guidelines. 

• Experience in managing post opening and management activity. 

• Proven experience with offline donation processing, batching and banking procedures. 

• Experience of data entry techniques of working with a CRM to optimise data integrity. 

• Experience of and passion for delivery excellent supporter care.

We are seeking a Housing Officer to join our professional yet friendly team based in Bethnal Green, East London. The Housing Officer is key in delivering a housing tenancy service including income management, allocations and voids management, anti-social behavior, tenancy engagement to all our residents

As part of your role, you will have a patch of around 250-300 properties. You will be expected to represent PRHA in court and external meetings and be a key point of liaison for our residents and community stakeholders.

As a Housing Domestic Abuse Advocate, you will provide intervention, advocacy, and support to survivors of domestic abuse. Working within a fast-paced team, you will help empower women and ensure that the voice of survivors informs every stage of their journey towards improved safety. You will have your own caseload of survivors who hold social tenancies with local authorities or housing associations, and you will encourage them to engage with our service and ensure they have access to support. You will also co-ordinate the provision of multi-agency support which focuses on working with domestic abuse survivors to maintain their tenancies and prevent homelessness.

About You:

To be successful as the Domestic Abuse Housing Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:

You will bring solid experience of supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse in all its forms; coming from a sector with transferrable skills or possess a feminist/VAWG degree and be keen to learn and to train on the job. You will have a good understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic abuse (physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families, and communities. You will have proven skills and experience in conducting comprehensive assessments of needs and risk for survivors experiencing domestic abuse, including carrying out short risk management and safety planning. We will expect that you have experience in assessing the needs and safety of any children that women using the service may have and an understanding of the criminal justice system and relevant legislation with regard to legal and civil options, housing, benefits, matrimonial and children. Lastly you will bring your knowledge of safeguarding practice, procedures, and legislation.

With many skills and qualities to add to this role, if you have good IT literacy, data collection and monitoring these skills are maximised in your role. If you have experience or have been trained or are qualified in the fields related  to substance misuse, criminal jusice, law, social work or domestic abuse we would love to hear from you.

About the team

This role will be seconded to Together Women, who since 2006 have spearheaded the development and delivery of trauma informed services for women involved in the criminal justice system, working with women and girls with multiple and complex needs across the North of England.

The service aims to support users to secure and sustain safe, decent and affordable homes, which in turn will reduce reoffending and help service users to successfully rehabilitate. Through our work we aim to influence at both a national and local level to make sure that people in the criminal justice system are able to access good quality housing.

About the role

Your role will be to provide tailored accommodation support to women both in custody and under probation supervision in the community, helping them to find and keep a home and reintegrate into their local communities. You will collaborate closely with the women’s key worker and Service Users to develop plans using a strengths – based approach to help them achieve their goals and reach their full potential. The caseload will fluctuate and service users levels of need will vary.

• Develop, deliver and evaluate inspiring, innovative and cost-effective Christmas Individual Giving activity, driving engagement and optimising long term value from cold and warm audiences. 

• Ensure effective management of the annual BBC Radio 4 broadcast appeal, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure opportunities to leverage engagement and net income are maximized across all relevant channels. These include broadcast, telephone, social media, paid search, SMS, email, inserts and mail. 

• Deliver the Christmas activity as part of an integrated approach, working collaboratively with the BBC, creative and media agencies and colleagues across St Martin’s Charity including the Fundraising, Communications and Programmes teams. 

• Work with the Leadership Giving Team to ensure high value giving opportunities arising out of the Christmas Appeal activity and Radio 4 Appeal Anniversary year are optimised. 

• Work collaboratively to optimise contactability across Christmas campaign activity, developing a seamless supporter journey that encourages regular giving and increases lifetime value.   

 
We’re looking for the following skills & experience: 

• Demonstrable experience of project management across a range of direct marketing channels including print & digital. 

• A strong track record of campaign planning, including ideation, proposition development, campaign execution and channel optimisation. 

• Experience of sourcing compelling content for utilisation across both online and offline channels. 

• Experience of working with creative, print, digital and media agencies, collaborating with them to get the best results. 

• Experience of using social media to target, communicate with and engage 

• Planning and budgeting experience in an individual giving context. 

• Experience of managing broadcast appeals, especially radio appeals is highly desirable.

About the Role

Camden Kaleidoscope, located in London, is an innovative, specialist-supported accommodation service focusing on mental health and complex needs. As a Service Manager you will lead a dedicated team to provide trauma-informed mental health support to young people between ages 16-24, an understanding and/or experience of trauma-informed practice would be advantageous. In addition, you’ll manage and develop a dedicated staff team including mental health support workers, volunteers and students so previous experience in line management and working in Mental Health accommodation services (or equivalent) will be required.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the process of continuous improvement for the service following Depaul UK’s annual project review and year planning cycle.
• Collaborate with external agencies to ensure coordinated and client-centred service delivery.
• Manage financial, IT, and building resources effectively per Depaul UK’s policies.

Job Purpose

This is a critical role, sitting at the heart of hyh, the purpose of which is to provide high quality administrative support to the CEO, coordinate and administer the leadership and governance of the organisation and oversee the smooth running of the office.

Administration and Support for the CEO

• Be a step ahead at all times in providing executive support to the CEO including: diary organisation, making appointments, responding to invitations, dealing with correspondence, and liaising with external partners and arranging travel.
• Conduct research, prepare papers and briefings, produce PowerPoint presentations.
• Project support for organisation wide projects.

Leadership and governance support

• Plan and coordinate the efficient running of leadership and governance meeting cycles, including scheduling meetings, booking venues, circulating documents, collating reports, minute taking, maintaining action logs, arranging refreshments etc. This includes the Board of Trustees and two sub-committees (Governance and Finance), Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Leadership Team (LT).
• Provide high level admin support to other members of the SLT as required (Head of Services, Head of Fundraising & Communications, Finance Manager).
• Coordination and administration of internal staff meetings and communications, including monthly Team Briefings and bi-annual Organisation Days.
• Provide on-going support to Trustees, including responsibility for their induction and on-going training
• Maintain and update trustee records and registers, including Charity Commission and Companies House registrations.
• Manage our policies and procedures and oversee the annual cycle of policy reviews.

Office management

• Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the office, ensuring that it is a great working environment for staff where supplies never run out, the office is clean and tidy, and all staff have the furniture and equipment they need.
• Coordinate a small team of office/admin volunteers to provide excellent support to the wider hyh team.
• Build and maintain service and supplier contracts and relationships, including our landlord, telephones, broadband, lone working devices, phones, printers and cleaning.
• Be the main contact for our IT managed services provider and act as the internal contact point for any  IT queries.

Organisational support

• Support the SLT with our day to day health and safety compliance including administering Health and Safety Committee meetings, carrying out workstation assessments and conducting regular H&S checks and annual PAT testing.
• Support the SLT with our data protection including administering GDPR Committee meetings, managing the relationship with our external Data Protection consultant and acting as the internal point of contact.
• Provide staff induction and on-boarding in relation to the office, IT and equipment.

Skills and experience: 

• Significant experience as a senior Executive Assistant at CEO level.
• Significant levels of office management experience.
• Strong administrative background, ideally with experience working in the non-profit sector but not essential
• Experience managing and overseeing contracts, ensuring the service providers are excellent value for money.
• Experience acting as secretariat to boards of trustees or similar governance bodies.
• Experience managing people in paid or voluntary roles.
• Excellent communicator in formal and informal communications, both verbally and in writing, to all stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate sensitively
• Target-focused and results-driven with highly effective time management and exemplary prioritisation and planning skills.
• Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to think creatively and solve problems smartly.
• Positive with a “can do”, solution focused attitude.
• Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative, independently, without direct supervision.
• A strong completer-finisher.

About the team

We’ve seen some incredibly significant changes in Shelter over the past four years, with a radical shift in our organisational strategy and the consequent need to change our ways of working fundamentally. About the role

This is an exciting new role within our Internal Communications and Engagement team, reporting to the Head of Internal Communication and Engagement, you’ll be responsible for not only supporting Shelter in engaging people in our strategy and the work we do, but also helping to build and shape our organisational culture.

We’ll rely on you to contribute to the development of Shelter’s listening strategy as well as designing and managing a range of listening opportunities that can maximise upward communication. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll evaluate effective employee engagement approaches, analysing and summarising staff feedback data to identify themes while making recommendations for action planning. Acting as a project manager for all of our employee engagement initiatives, you’ll proactively identify and address issues related to our employee engagement while providing the right solutions. You’ll also be working alongside our EIC Senior Leadership Team to help review Shelter’s culture and support the implementation of a culture development plan that not only integrates our core values but also builds a sense of belonging while embedding our commitment to anti-racism.

About you

You’ll have experience of designing and delivering internal communications and engagement plans, as well as being able to implement a range of techniques to engage diverse audiences in organisational change. You’ll know what drives engagement, how to nurture strengths and deliver areas for improvement. What’s more, you’ll have knowledge about developing and integrating organisational values and behaviours and you’ll have experience of implementing listening strategies, including managing a framework of tools to capture views.

You’re adept at developing excellent relationships and can interact effectively with diverse internal audiences. You’ll be confident in devising research, analysing data and creating summary reports. As well as having experience of managing projects and producing events, you’ll also have advanced digital skills and knowledge of tools to communicate effectively. A proactive problem-solver, you’ll be comfortable to use your initiative and really get stuck into your role.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Lead Worker to join our client's floating support team, responsible for providing expert casework and resource provision for service users. This role involves supporting Assured RSI Tenants who may need assistance after graduating from support services, contributing to the implementation of team aims, and maintaining high standards in service delivery within a complex and changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment & Intervention: Conduct initial assessments to determine clients' needs, providing brief interventions or referring them to TST Support Workers for long-term support.
• Collaboration & Communication: Regularly share information and communicate with TST Service Commissioners, Housing Providers, Adult Social Care teams, and other relevant services.
• Supervision: Oversee the casework of volunteers and new colleagues within the TST, ensuring effective coordination and maintaining company standards.
• Case Management: Carry a caseload of clients, providing ongoing support and direction. Key working clients directly or coordinating support while other team members interact with clients.
• Specialisation: Act as a resource in one or more areas such as mental health, substance misuse, offending, tenancy sustainment, outreach, hostels, resettlement, and learning and employment.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Contribute to service effectiveness and deliver high-quality, outcome-focused services.
• Support the coordination of team activities and maintain standards in relation to service users and stakeholders.
• Provide accurate information, reports, and analysis to Lead Managers or Senior Practitioners.
• Regularly review the effectiveness of service delivery, involving service users and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the annual work plan.
• Promote best practices, including person-centred support planning and effective casework management.
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and represent the team at external meetings as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements:

• Essential: Previous experience in homelessness support.
• Desirable: Experience supervising casework of volunteers or colleagues.
• Strong understanding of effective support services for vulnerable people.
• Knowledge of various approaches to key working and case management.
• Understanding of the complex issues contributing to homelessness and the needs of homeless individuals.
• Ability to work independently while remaining accountable to line management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish good working relationships with service users, colleagues, and stakeholders.

As a city centre church, working alongside people who are poor or marginalised is a key part of St Aldates’ ministry and is carried out largely through ACT.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Crucial to the success of ACT is the Head of Charity, who provides leadership and vision, ensures that its activities are underpinned by prayer, and that this work remains central to the ministry of St Aldates.

As the Head of Charity, you will drive the charity's mission and vision alongside the Board, ensuring our community receives the best possible support.

You will have a heart for those who have been marginalised, and experience of running a business or charity. Your role will be to lead staff and volunteers in the vision and manage funds and key projects. Partnering with others across other charities, key stakeholders and donors you will become a strong ambassador for the charity.
