The Independence and Wellbeing team works collaboratively across the Association to ensure Blesma’s programmes and services can help our serving Service personnel, veterans and their families thrive and lead independent and fulfilling lives.

The Role

At least three years working in an Individual Giving fundraising environment

About the role:
This role is home based, working 6 hours a day between 12-30 hours per week. Days and hours to be discussed, if successful.

As a Live Chat Support Worker you will be: -
- Able to respond to victims of and those affected by crime by providing emotional support, information and referral on to Victim Support services and other agencies
- Providing immediate emotional support, practical advice and trauma first aid referrals to victims of and those affected by major incidents and terrorism.

Overview
The Senior Programme Officer - Development & Advocacy will play a vital role in advancing the HAMRAH initiative and strengthening the resilience of cohort organisations through fundraising, research, joint policy advocacy, communication, and capacity development. Job Description
Fundraising and Grant Writing: Work with the Programme Director to identify funding opportunities, lead the drafting and reviewing of proposals, concept notes, and grant applications for the HAMRAH initiative and its cohort organisations. Monitor funding trends and donor priorities to develop tailored and compelling proposals.
Policy and Joint Advocacy: Support HAMRAH and cohort organisations in designing and implementing targeted joint advocacy campaigns, including strategy and messaging development. Help facilitate policy dialogue and engagement with relevant stakeholders, including government officials, donors, and civil society networks, to advance the priorities of HAMRAH and its cohort organisations.
Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to inform programme strategies, advocacy efforts, and policy development. This includes helping produce briefing papers, reports, and articles with clear recommendations based on HAMRAH’s work and evidence. Also monitor emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in Afghanistan and other exiled communities across Global South to ensure programming remains responsive, relevant and impactful.
Communication and Reporting: Lead the development of newsletters and other digital communication materials to showcase HAMRAH’s achievements and cohort organisations’ work. If needed and approved by cohort, coordinate digital engagement strategies, including website updates and social media campaigns, to enhance HAMRAH visibility and outreach. Learning and Exchange: Support the planning and execution of online and in-person cross-learning exchange workshops with partner organisations in the Global South. Required

We help children and families in Uganda to survive and to thrive by providing for both their immediate needs and strengthening their futures through community outreach, protecting, educating, and skilling. We work in partnership with our team in Uganda who passionately lead and implement our projects which are a life line to some of the most vulnerable children in the world.
The role of the Head of Fundraising is to raise funds and awareness of the work of Kids Club Kampala through developing and implementing the fundraising strategy of the charity. We have grown significantly in recent years, both in impact and income.
Our current income is a mix of grant funding, individual giving and community fundraising. The Head of Fundraising will build on our strengths and successes in these areas, whilst also developing new income streams – namely major donor income, corporate partnerships and fundraising appeals. They will be part of the Senior Leadership Team, working closely with the Board of Trustees and the CEO, leading the Fundraising Team to meet or exceed ambitious fundraising targets; building upon existing networks, creating new fundraising partnerships and overseeing effective relationships to increase the income of the charity.

SAFE! Support for Young People Affected by Crime is a dynamic Oxford based charity working across the Thames Valley. We are looking for experienced practitioners based in South Bucks and the surrounding areas to provide support on a freelance basis to young people and parents/caregivers across all our services. The Role

This is a part-time, one-year fixed term role contracted at 0.2FTE, with the possibility of extension. Flexible working arrangements are available. The hours do not need to be confined to a single day each week and can be distributed in a pattern that suits both the candidate and the organisation. The full time equivalent (FTE) salary for this role is up to £40,000 depending on experience, which equates to £8,000 for this part-time role.
