We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Partnership Manager to join our team. The Partnership Manager will play a crucial role in building and nurturing strategic relationships with stakeholders, organisations, and community sport and physical activity clubs groups.

The main responsibilities of this role are: 

Relationship Management 

• To act as the lead and relationship manager with partners on behalf of Think Active Lead, or support on the development of local partnerships and networks promoting collaboration across all relevant sectors 

• Raise awareness of funding opportunities available to increase participation in sport and physical activity. 

• Lead, or support on the development of local place partnerships that align multiple agendas with partners from across different sectors and advocate for the benefits of physical activity. 

Project Management 

• To act as the lead for Sport England and other projects and initiatives managed by Think Active. 

• High quality Project Management that ensures projects aims are clear, that they are delivered on time and on budget and in line with our values. 

• Effective delivery of the Think Active. #WeThinkActive Strategy, through your contribution as a team member of Think Active and with and through partners. 

• Tangibly contribute to the increase participation in sport and physical activity and address wider social needs through creative and innovative approaches and partnerships. 

• Seek out opportunities to generate income and contribute to Think Active business development and income generation targets both for the organisation and for local partners. 

• Use robust data and insight to co-design, implement and evaluate innovative. 

• Prepare detailed reports; including performance and financial in relation to your work.

• Adhere to GDPR and data protection through your planning, implementation and communication. 

Financial Management 

• Plan, implement and in accordance with funding guidance, financial procedures, and policies, take responsibility for diversifying Think Active’s income streams through in line with the strategy and business development plan 

• Project and budget management (up to c£300,000) including forecasting, monitoring of income and expenditure, plus the submission of financial reporting 

Demonstrating Impact 

Reporting progress and capturing value through case studies and evaluation processes designed to evidence the impact targets. Story telling – the ability to articulate the impact and value of Think Active (locally, regionally, nationally across various sectors) 

Marketing and Communications  

• Contribute to Think Active’s Active Societies objective by aligning projects and work align with and enhance the work of the Marketing and Communications Lead. 

• By building partnerships and brand visibility you will play an important role in enhancing Think Active’s marketing and communications efforts by strategically cultivating and managing partnerships. This includes developing and implementing joint marketing campaigns with partners to elevate Think Active (and our partners and funders) brand visibility.

• You will collaborate with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to create compelling narratives that showcase the impact of our projects and initiatives, driving awareness and engagement.

• By leveraging partnerships, the Partnership Manager will contribute to positioning Think Active in promoting health and well-being through innovative and impactful physical activity projects, initiatives and collaborations.

About the role
The NextGen Community Producer will play an integral role at Youth Music shaping and developing our support for young adults, particularly helping them to close the gap between learning and earning in music.

You’ll join us at an exciting time as we look to scale up and enhance our community engagement efforts. Building on the foundations established in phase 1 between 2021-2024, your focus will be on increasing participation, and fostering a more cohesive and active community. Your innovative strategies and passion for supporting young creatives will be key to driving deeper connections among members, and creating a compelling offer for the community.

Day-to-day you’ll be programming national events, workshops and networking opportunities; brokering progression opportunities though Youth Music’s industry partners, and recruiting to paid freelance creative roles. The job will involve managing a variety of relationships with young people, playing a central role in developing and leading the NextGen community strategy, and supporting the development of a new brand and user journey for NextGen community members.

Key responsibilities
Programme Development

• Act as the day-to-day lead and point of contact for the Youth Music NextGen Community, representing their voice internally and externally.
• Devise and implement a clear strategy for the continued growth and development of the NextGen Community, with support from the Engagement team.
• Deliver impactful programmes of activities and support that will progress young people into creative careers, broaden their networks, increase their confidence and create access to new opportunities.
• Develop and grow the NextGen Community brand and visual identity, ensuring a clear offer and user journey for those taking part in Youth Music funded projects, and other potential new members.
• Increase the role the community plays in designing and delivering the NextGen programme, aligning with Youth Music’s wider aims and values around youth voice.
• Increase interaction between NextGen Community members.

Events

• Work with the events team to develop, grow and manage our programme of regular NextGen Community events across the country to bring the community together and showcase their talent.
• Develop and manage our programme of events in London in partnership with Young Guns Network (YGN), taking place in the offices of our music industry partners.
• Grow attendance at all NextGen events, working with our Comms and Marketing team to increase awareness and build the profile of the event series.
• Programme and manage all events within set budgets.

Partnerships

• Build and leverage relationships with partners and networks to enhance the offer for the NextGen Community (such as events, performance opportunities, workshops, studio time, content creation, and exclusive offers etc).
• Manage relationships with key corporate partners (such as Levi’s) to support delivery of the NextGen Community activities.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential partners to approach, and support wider fundraising efforts within the team.

Recruitment

• Lead on NextGen recruitment for NextGen Community Events and the Youth Music Awards, with support from the Engagement Coordinator. e.g. Create briefs for NextGen roles and be their main point of contact.
• Support recruitment for any other Youth Music or partner opportunities created for the NextGen Community. (e.g. gigs, festivals, activations, focus groups, etc).
• Develop the NextGen talent pool, finding new ways to promote and manage this.
• Create and source relevant national music-related opportunities for Youth Music’s ‘opportunities board’.

NextGen Fund

• Support the marketing and promotion of the NextGen Fund.
• Contribute and support NextGen Fund decision panels.
• Work with our Comms team to ensure that content created through the NextGen Fund is showcased on Youth Music’s social and digital channels. E.g. Sound of the Next Generation playlist.

Demonstrate Impact

• Work with the Insights Team to listen and act on feedback from the NextGen Community. This will be via monitoring, research and consultation that informs the ongoing development and design of the NextGen offer.
• Prepare and present reports on the plans, activities and impact of NextGen Community.
• Share our learning internally and externally at panels, conferences, and through written pieces.

Systems and processes

• Capture NextGen membership on Salesforce so that we have a clear understanding of who is in our community.
• Work with the Database Administrator to improve our systems, processes and user journeys.
• Work with the Comms and Marketing team to ensure the Youth Music website represents and serves the needs of the NextGen Community.

Other

• Ensure all activities are delivered in line with Youth Music’s values with inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility at their core.
• Be a safeguarding champion, ensuring best practice Safeguarding is embedded throughout our work and all issues and concerns are escalated as appropriate.

About the role

The London Library is planning a major, multi-year building project and is looking for a Senior Facilities Officer - Project Management to work within the Buildings and Facilities Management team to help support and deliver the project.

As part of a small, hands-on team, this new role will also support the Library’s maintenance and improvement programmes, arranging contractor works and providing liaison with colleagues across the Library. An appetite for automation and further development of finance systems is greatly advantageous.

Your experience could have been gained in a Higher Education setting, ideally with exposure to TRAC or costing OR gained within a Charity/NfP where you have supported development or commercial operations.

This is a practical role where day-to-day you will work on or construct supporting elements for the art collection, providing innovative solutions for its conservation and preservation. You will care for, handle, prepare and maintain artworks and their associated components for safe storage, transit, installation and display. You will work on a broad range of conservation activities and provide technical support for the artworks in Tate’s collection and care.

It is essential that you hold a recognised City & Guilds qualification in carpentry and joinery or cabinet making or equivalent. You will have demonstrable practical experience with broad range of developed craft skills including carpentry, metalworking and machine maintenance. Location: Hybrid, working from Northampton office 1-2 days a week & attending team meetings in London (expenses will be provided for the commute and flexibility around working hours)

As finance Officer your day to day will include:

• Processing all income.
• Maintain records of standing orders and direct debits.
• Prepare sales invoices, post receipts and allocate funds.
• Manage some accounts payable functions (processing a high volume of invoices).
• Produce reports as required by the finance team.
• Bank reconciliations & monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure donor information is provided to the fundraising and membership team.

Attributes and experience that you will to the role will include

• Experience with CRM databases ideally a cloud-based system
• Experience with office administration.
• An ATT qualification or be working towards one.
• Excell competency skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOK UPS
• Working knowledge of public finance and/or charity accounting

Senior Conservation Technician, Paper and Photographs

This is an exciting opportunity to bring technical expertise to the Paper and Photograph Conservation team!

There are two vacant full-time roles in the Paper and Photograph Conservation studios at Tate Britain. One is permanent with a focus on large-scale touring exhibitions, with start date in October 2024. The other is a fixed-term contract until 31st March 2027 and focuses on modern and contemporary art.

The Senior Conservation Technician provides technical expertise on the mounting, framing, storage and packing of art on paper, photographs, library, and archive material. Day to day you will undertake a variety of traditional and modern mounting, framing, and housing techniques, devise display, installation and packing methods, and advise and train paper conservation technicians. You’ll work closely with a paper conservator and the wider team to review and document your work to ensure the highest standards in the care of Tate’s paper-based collections. You’ll enjoy this role if you like creative problem solving, developing and adapting your technical skills, working to deadlines and knowledge sharing.
