About this job:
As Systems Accountant, you’ll:
- lead on the development and enhancement of Unit 4 ERPx, functioning as system administration and SUPER-user,
- work closely with various internal stakeholders (particularly the IT team) to ensure integration between existing systems and Unit 4 ERPx, building strong relationships with leaders to ensure the system meets requirements,
- be the main point of contact with the system supplier, responsible for ensuring both the smooth-running of the system and continuous improvement,
- be a problem solver, proactively identifying system gaps and working to resolve them in the most efficient way,
- build reports based on business requirements, ensuring decision-makers have financial reporting that provides meaningful insights and recommendations.
About you:
To excel in this role, you'll need extensive hands-on experience with the Unit 4 ERPx system, with a thorough understanding of its demands, capabilities, risks, and opportunities. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you'll be cultivating relationships with both external and internal stakeholders, taking a diplomatic and empathetic approach. Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial accounting system processes and management are also crucial. The successful applicant will work closely with the Support Line Manager and team to deliver support for anyone affected by sarcoma. The post holder will be part of a growing Support Line team and be part of the continued expansion of the service as we grow in exciting new directions in 2024/25. Duties and key responsibilities
Support and Information
- To deliver the Sarcoma UK Support Line, a confidential telephone and email support and information service for anyone affected by sarcoma. This includes:
- Providing individual information and support to service users on sarcoma and related issues, by telephone, email and other media as the service develops.
- Adhering to quality standards, confidentiality, Sarcoma UK policies and the standard operating procedures of the Support Line.
- Under direction from the Director of Research, Policy and Support and Support Line Manager, contribute to Sarcoma UK’s social and other media as appropriate.
- To provide clinical input to the development of the charity’s information materials including the revision of existing information materials and the development of new information products.
- To provide input to the clinical content of the charity’s website.
- To raise awareness of the charity’s information and support services within the health professional field.
- To contribute sarcoma knowledge and clinical expertise across all the charity’s programmes.
Maintain Professional Knowledge
- Keep up to date with treatment and care of sarcoma through research and review of publications, horizon scanning, and attending study days and conferences, and disseminate this information within the charity.
- Adhere to the standards of good practice outlined in the AHP / NMC professional code of conduct, or relevant professional body’s standards.
- Maintain professional registration and compliance with revalidation requirements ensuring ongoing clinical education and professional development.
- Attend mandatory clinical supervision sessions.
External Relationships
- To maintain positive relationships with key Sarcoma UK stakeholders including sarcoma patients, family members/carers and support group leaders.
- To develop and maintain contact with sarcoma specialist healthcare professionals, including clinicians, specialist nurses and allied health professionals who have reviewed our information materials.
Other
- To support new work within the information and support team.
- The role will require some travel to meetings and events throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.
- Attend Sarcoma UK events and take part in Sarcoma UK’s wider work.
- Occasional weekend or evening work may also be required and time off in lieu will be given.

Role responsibilities
- Engage with students in school and enrol them onto the programme
- Match students with volunteer tutors
- Monitor student attendance to tutorials and devise innovative solutions to encourage attendance
- Assess student progress towards being able to make successful university

- Monitor the impact of tutorials, and intervene as appropriate

The Model of Care and Quality Improvement Officer role is all about making sure that the care and support models developed and implemented by the National Gambling Support Network (NGSN) are effective, efficient and of high quality. The post holder will support the work around the current and ongoing development of the model of care to make sure that the NGSN is delivering against best practice and evidence-based interventions, supporting quality improvement.
You'll be working with the Quality and Performance Manager and providers to:
- Develop and implement an NGSN model of care.
- Monitor quality and performance standards as part of the commissioning process.

Are you our new Global Selection Programme Intern?
We are looking for an intern to join the Global Selection Programme (GSP) team on a fixed term three month contract. As the Global Selection Programme Intern, you will be line managed by the GSP Coordinator to help you integrate and collaborate with the Programmes Team and with other key stakeholders. The post holder will play an important role in driving improvements to one of UWC’s key application programmes as it prepares for the 2025/26 academic year.
You will bring your communication and relationship building skills to the fore to help us build and strengthen our relationship with volunteers and stakeholders from across the movement. You will work as part of a well-established Programmes Team and develop skills and experience in the student admissions process, customer service and stakeholder management.

About UWC International
The UWC International Office serves as the operational arm of UWC International, a UK-registered and Germany-registered charity, and stands as a pivotal entity within the UWC movement. Positioned in central London and Berlin, it collaborates extensively with stakeholders across the UWC spectrum, actively engages a robust alumni community comprising more than 60,000 members, and fulfils essential functions for UWC International's governance bodies. The Global Selection Programme is available to young people aged 15 to 18 from around the world, so long as they do not require any financial support to attend UWC. As Community Fundraising Co-ordinator for the Huntington’s Disease Association, you will help deliver our strategic plans and objectives by generating and growing income through community fundraising activities. We are seeking a Therapeutic Practitioner to join our newly established Health Team. This specialist role will enhance our current provision and improve the quality and breadth of mental health support available to young people. The successful candidate will work within the Health Team, in collaboration with our partner organisation Camden & Islington Young People's Service, to deliver 1:1 emotional and practical support, assist in our drop-in service, and facilitate workshops for all young people experiencing homelessness.
You will specialise in helping young people improve their self-confidence while improving their understanding of difficult emotions such as anger. Additionally, you will focus on developing their thinking and practical skills, as well as coping and de-escalation strategies. Your work will aim to improve relationships among young people within the day centre, and continue to promote trauma informed working practices across New Horizon, so that all of our services are designed to address the psychological and emotional needs of young people who are unsafe or facing homelessness.
You will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the development of an important and innovative new role. You will be provided with your own theraputic support delivered by a highly experienced clinical psychologist and regular individual and group clinical supervision. You will also be given opportunities for further professional development through training and consultation through New Horizon and our Camden & Islington's Young People Service.

This role will join TCV at an exciting time for our charity. You will be central to a small immediate Fundraising team and a wider income generation directorate. You’ll specialise in ensuring a diverse range of young people’s voices are heard, facilitating inclusive activities which increase youth participation across all our services and leading on the delivery of our youth forums. We have an ambitious plan to improve and accelerate our youth voice strategy and this role will be at the heart of this delivery.
You should be experienced in designing, planning and facilitating a range of activities and group work with and for young people and be able to work dynamically in a fast-paced day centre environment. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about youth engagement and skilled in bringing out the ideas, voices and opinions of young people to shape service delivery. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with a background in running participatory youth projects, co-production, youth engagement sessions and/or community engagement.

Job Purpose
This is a critical role, sitting at the heart of hyh, the purpose of which is to provide high quality administrative support to the CEO, coordinate and administer the leadership and governance of the organisation and oversee the smooth running of the office.
Administration and Support for the CEO
- Be a step ahead at all times in providing executive support to the CEO including: diary organisation, making appointments, responding to invitations, dealing with correspondence, and liaising with external partners and arranging travel.
- Conduct research, prepare papers and briefings, produce PowerPoint presentations.
- Project support for organisation wide projects.
Leadership and governance support
- Plan and coordinate the efficient running of leadership and governance meeting cycles, including scheduling meetings, booking venues, circulating documents, collating reports, minute taking, maintaining action logs, arranging refreshments etc. This includes the Board of Trustees and two sub-committees (Governance and Finance), Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Leadership Team (LT).
- Provide high level admin support to other members of the SLT as required (Head of Services, Head of Fundraising & Communications, Finance Manager).
- Coordination and administration of internal staff meetings and communications, including monthly Team Briefings and bi-annual Organisation Days.
- Provide on-going support to Trustees, including responsibility for their induction and on-going training
- Maintain and update trustee records and registers, including Charity Commission and Companies House registrations.
- Manage our policies and procedures and oversee the annual cycle of policy reviews.
Office management
- Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the office, ensuring that it is a great working environment for staff where supplies never run out, the office is clean and tidy, and all staff have the furniture and equipment they need.
- Coordinate a small team of office/admin volunteers to provide excellent support to the wider hyh team.
- Build and maintain service and supplier contracts and relationships, including our landlord, telephones, broadband, lone working devices, phones, printers and cleaning.
- Be the main contact for our IT managed services provider and act as the internal contact point for any IT queries.
Organisational support
- Support the SLT with our day to day health and safety compliance including administering Health and Safety Committee meetings, carrying out workstation assessments and conducting regular H&S checks and annual PAT testing.
- Support the SLT with our data protection including administering GDPR Committee meetings, managing the relationship with our external Data Protection consultant and acting as the internal point of contact.
- Provide staff induction and on-boarding in relation to the office, IT and equipment.
Skills and experience:
- Significant experience as a senior Executive Assistant at CEO level.
- Significant levels of office management experience.
- Strong administrative background, ideally with experience working in the non-profit sector but not essential
- Experience managing and overseeing contracts, ensuring the service providers are excellent value for money.
- Experience acting as secretariat to boards of trustees or similar governance bodies.
- Experience managing people in paid or voluntary roles.
- Excellent communicator in formal and informal communications, both verbally and in writing, to all stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate sensitively
- Target-focused and results-driven with highly effective time management and exemplary prioritisation and planning skills.
