About the opportunity
A vital area of our charity’s work is our Musicians Visiting service, which offers musicians who receive long-term support from the charity (due to long-term illness, terminal illness, age, or often a combination of factors) regular telephone check-ins and in-person visits.
The purpose of the call or visit is to provide practical and pastoral support, and to make ongoing assessments of musicians’ needs, ensuring we continue to offer the most appropriate and timely support.
In-person visits take place at the musician’s home or at another agreed meeting place close to where they live, and therefore our team of Regional Visitors operate within agreed geographical areas across the U.K. We currently have opportunities for Regional Visitors to join our team in the following regions:

Our Regional Visitors are allocated to musicians within their assigned geographical location and undertake an agreed number of calls and visits across the year. Approximately 35 in-person visits are required per year but can fluctuate depending on the geographical location need and applications we receive from musicians.
As self-employed/freelance workers, our visiting team are paid an agreed rate for each call or visit.
About you
If you are based in Scotland or the West Midlands and are interested in using some of your time across the year to support musicians through our vital work, this could be the opportunity for you.
With a passion for music, if you have experience of working in the health and social care sector, ideally with previous experience of conducting home visits to individuals, and you can offer your services for an agreed amount of time across the year, then we would love to hear from you.
It’s essential that you have the skills to manage your own workload, actively listen, and communicate with empathy. If you have experience of working within the music industry, that would be an advantage.

Our calls and visits are made to musicians between 9.30am-4pm Monday-Friday so you must be available to undertake work between those times (i.e. this is not evening / weekend work)

The role will involve lone working, including in-person visits to the homes of musicians, so you must be comfortable to lone work and travel – reasonable travel expenses are reimbursed in line with our expenses policy. Suitable lone working training will be given.

Due to the geographical location of most in-person visits, a full driving license and willingness to drive is essential (reasonable adjustments will be considered for applicants with a disability).

The Individual Giving and Grants Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing the vision and strategic goals of the Museum by overseeing and managing all aspects of the individual grants and giving programmes. This role is responsible for raising financial support through donations, legacies, trusts, foundations and businesses as well as grant funding and individual giving. The Individual Giving and Grants Manager ensures the effective administration of grants, from proposal development through to funding being secured, whilst fostering strong relationships with funders, existing and potential donors and stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who has demonstrable fundraising experience, ideally in the cultural sector, through new or reinvigorated fundraising programmes. The successful candidate will have an interest in the history of Brooklands Museum and knowledge of fundraising databases and donor management systems. You will be a confident self-starter who is proactive in their approach and has the credibility and ability to liaise with major donors and support trustees and volunteers, enhancing their fundraising activity and success.

Woman’s Trust is a leading mental health charity supporting women affected by domestic abuse. For nearly 30 years, we have provided free, trauma-informed counselling, therapeutic groups, and workshops to help women rebuild their emotional wellbeing. About the role
Here for You is Breast Cancer Now’s personalised referral route to all our services.
This new role is responsible for the management and development of the Here for You’s geographical expansion. This includes managing a small team which works to integrate our referral route into NHS Trusts and may include managing additional support officers in future.
We’re currently working with over 60 NHS Trusts in England but have ambitious plans to become UK-wide. Supporting the senior manager, personalised referrals, the post is responsible for targeting areas of high deprivation and high breast cancer incident rates. There’s significant internal and external collaboration and networking to ensure our services are offered to people diagnosed with breast cancer. This will involve contributing to cross-departmental meetings, working with NHS Trusts and cancer alliances and guiding the team to deliver excellent information and support.

Our new Director of Operations will be primarily responsible for ensuring our operational delivery pieces of work are delivered to a high standard, to targets and within timescales.
They’ll be responsible for line managing our current service and programme managers, ensuring that service / programme operational plans (including KPIs) and relevant individual staff work plans are in place and being adhered to.

There has never been a greater need for Independent Age’s work. More than two million older people are in poverty, with millions more living with precarious finances. At Independent Age, we believe that no older person should face financial hardship. Our information and advice, grant-making, partnership activity, policy work, and campaigning increases the financial well-being of older people, enabling them to have greater choice and independence in wider areas of life.
As Director of Services and Grants, you will be responsible for ensuring that our multi-channel services and grants programme serve and improve the lives of older people, reach those who are most likely to be in poverty, and have the maximum impact. You will help us grow our capacity, build our network of charity and commercial partnerships, develop our external training offer, and reach more people including those groups most likely to experience financial hardship.
Having operated at a senior level, ideally as part of a Senior Leadership Team, you will be an inspiring leader with a demonstrable passion for our cause. Experienced in successfully managing service transformation and development, including in a contact centre environment, you will also have an understanding of grants programmes, and of building strategic partnerships and national networks. With an understanding of demonstrating and reporting on impact, experience of supporting fundraising for services and bidding for contracts, you will ideally also have knowledge of developing an external training offer.

This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, which you can choose to work over five days or a 9-day fortnight.

As our EWP Global Coordinator you will provide strategic leadership, fundraising capacity, and campaigning knowledge to the EWP network,
In this role you will:
- Set the strategic direction for the organization
- Manage and support EWP members across the globe

- Oversee all major EWP campaigning efforts

Requirements
To be successful, you’ll need:
- 10 years working in a country considered “global south"
- Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience, with a strong preference for work in the human rights
- At least 5+ years of relevant professional experience working to advancing on water and sanitation and/or human rights (with a human rights interdependency lens) and improving water governance systems ensuring participation and leadership of vulnerable groups and/or local grassroots organisations .
- Experience in fundraising, and budget management skills
- Experience of working with grassroots networks, social movements, and/or in networks at a national or international level,
- Track record of developing, implementing and monitoring international campaign strategies based on local needs, which have delivered long term political change.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English,
- Conversational in French and/or Spanish
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.

About the Role
This new role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR within Mind BLMK. The role will join the CEO and Head of Finance and Head of Operations as part of the Executive team. We require a strategic thinker who can align HR practices with our objectives, foster a positive culture, drive talent management and foster employee development.
Mind BLMK has a workforce of around 90 people and a small infrastructure to support us to deliver our valuable services to the community. The Head of HR will be hands on and supported by a HR assistant but will also work closely with other departments to ensure development and implementation of policies and programs that support Mind BLMKs goals.
About You
The successful candidate will have significant experience in managing talent acquisition, employee development, compensation and benefits and employee relations, Minimum 2 years’ experience of strategic and hands on HR leadership and experience of securing engagement from staff, managers and department heads.
Key Duties
- Develop and implement HR strategies, processes and services aligned with our overall strategy and vision
- Lead the HR function and team
- Be a pro-active member of the Executive team
- Monitor, update, and advise staff and managers on HR policies and procedures, ensuring that they are adhered to and effectively communicated across the organisation.
- Manage the production of relevant and timely information for managers and the Board of Trustees to include but not be limited to KPIs, timetables for appraisals, probation reviews, sickness management and equality and diversity statistics.
- To be the lead from the Executive team on the Workforce board sub-committee each quarter
- Ensure the monthly payroll process is completed
- Oversee
- recruitment, selection, onboarding and retention of staff and volunteers. Review the methods used for recruitment to ensure they are relevant and effective.

- review, and consult re the provision of wellbeing support for staff.
- implementation and delivery of the learning and development plan to ensure that the workforce delivers service excellence, that the training is fit for purpose and meets the training needs of the organisation.
- provision of professional, timely and accurate HR advice to managers on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary cases and lead in more complex employee performance or disciplinary matters.
- Keep up to date with developments in employment related legislation for staff, freelancers and HR practices and contribute to own, teams and managers learning through effective communication and sharing of information.
- Maintain an effective workforce for HR department at HQ in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures, and guidance (recruitment, line management, workload planning, support, and development of the HR staff).
