About us
Who we are
Manchester Carers Centre was established in 1997 as an independent voluntary organisation. We deliver a range of FREE, high quality support services for unpaid Carers in our City. These services include, providing information and advice, emotional support, practical help, community drop-ins, respite breaks, social activities, access to grants and training, and a dedicated Young Adult Carers Service for 16-25 year old Carers.
A Carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot manage without their support. We understand the invaluable contribution that Carers make to both the people they support and society as a whole. We exist to change Carers lives
Our culture and values
