We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and ambitious Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our UK Development Team on either a full or part time basis. The Strategic Partnerships Manager plays an integral role in supporting Hope for Justice's fundraising and income generation strategy, and provides crucial contributions to our programme initiatives, and our overall mission to live in a world free from modern slavery and human trafficking.

As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Building a robust pipeline of appropriate opportunities from trusts, foundations and/or institutional donors.
• Forming and maintaining strong relationships with key donors and partners, with excellent donor stewardship.
• Developing quality proposals through effective proposal management, working closely with Hope for Justice programmes, MEL and finance teams.
• Managing grants/awards to ensure that Hope for Justice is complying with donor contractual obligations, including collating and submitting technical and financial reports.

The ideal candidate will be an outstanding communicator, relationship-builder and problem-solver to take us to the next level in the way we interact with grant-making bodies. They will have expertise in written, numerical and analytical skills, as well as a strong track record in securing medium to large-size grants from trusts, foundations and institutional donors. They will have experience in building complex bids, engaging in negotiations with donors and partners, and project and programme design. They will have the ability to liaise confidently and diplomatically with donors and colleagues globally.

Requirements

• 5 years+ proven experience of raising funds from restricted donors within an organisation.
• Degree or equivalent qualifications or work experience in a relevant field.

Role Details

Job type: Full Time (37.5 hours per week) or Part Time (Negotiable weekly hours, from a minimum of 22.5 hours per week)

Salary: Up to £45,000 FTE, dependent on experience (pro-rated for part time hours)

What They Do

This organisation is a small charity that provides holistic support to vulnerable women in Newham, particularly in the context of mental health, and by extension – their families. In practice, these are almost all migrant families headed by a lone mother. Around 80-90% of those they work with are homeless, have experienced trauma, and have No Recourse to Public Funds.

Most new clients are seeking help with destitution and navigating hostile/dysfunctional systems of statutory support. As well as advocacy casework, they provide free counselling, parenting and life skills support, a Baby Bank, and skills development to help women support their families. A new cleaning social enterprise aims to diversify income and provide decent, flexible work.

More than the sum of the services it offers, the organisation provides a community where women support each other and know they can get help.

About the Role

The Operations Manager will oversee the operational delivery of the charitable objectives, including line management of senior project delivery staff. This role will support staff to ensure the smooth daily operations of front-line services.

You’ll be working within a diverse team of dedicated women in a compassionate environment. They appreciate the value of flexible working and welcome discussion about this in relation to the role.

As the Operations Manager, you will:

Line manages senior staff within the charity, providing regular one-to-one supervision, supporting staff to meet their objectives, working on all HR-related policies and procedures, and supporting staff to develop their potential.

Ensure the charity fulfils all legal, statutory, and regulatory duties around HR and governance.

Act as Lead Safeguarding Officer for the charity, including ensuring up-to-date DBS processes, organising staff, volunteer and Trustee safeguarding training, updating the Safeguarding Policy, and maintaining accurate records of safeguarding incidents.

Communicate regularly with the Finance Manager to support sound budgeting, management accounting, and other financial processes.

Monitor and report on key indicators of the organisation’s impact on funders and other stakeholders.

Roll up your sleeves and deliver employability sessions directly to our incredible young people. You'll also help our Delivery Partners and volunteers do the same, both in person and virtually through our trusty MS Teams. When we're doing things face-to-face, you’ll need to hit the road and be there in person to help with programme delivery or programme visits to make sure all is running as smoothly as possible.

And if that’s not enough to keep you busy, you’ll also be keeping meticulous records of information and data on our young people, volunteers, and partners. It's all about making sure every step of their journey is accurately reflected in our systems so that it complies with our funding contracts.

FareShare Sussex & Surrey is expanding and developing our Employability Programme and we are seeking a passionate and experienced Manager to lead our impactful employability initiatives across our Guildford and Brighton sites. 

In this role, you will design, implement, and refine our Employability Programme that provides holistic support, including work experience, training, and one-on-one coaching. Your efforts will help people far from the labour market gain the skills and confidence needed to secure meaningful employment.

About the Company: Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza.

About the Role: The purpose of this role within MAP is to build a high-performing digital fundraising programme in the UK, and in new international markets, to drive and stabilise increased fundraising performance across a range of digital channels and techniques. In collaboration with the Head of Individual Giving, you will lead the development and delivery of our Individual Giving digital marketing strategy to successfully deliver MAP’s new five-year vision. You’ll develop strategies and work across MAP’s digital channels, propositions and products year-round as well as playing a vital role in delivering multi-million pound campaigns during Ramadan and Winter. You’ll bring digital expertise, a supporter-led approach and brilliant creative thinking to develop new insight-led digital campaigns which leverage market opportunities. Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

• Lead the development and delivery of Individual Giving strategies across acquisition and retention, leading on MAP’s digital fundraising strategy.
• Ensure strategies focus on optimal return on investment and increasing the life-time-value of MAP’s cash and regular giving supporters.
• Work across and develop MAP’s digital channels, propositions and products year-round, including playing a vital role in delivering multi-million pound integrated campaigns during Ramadan and Winter.

Planning & Management of Campaigns:

• Collaborate with Head of team and peers to develop team plans aligned with the Individual Giving strategy.
• Manage the team to create and optimize insight-driven, supporter-led campaigns.

• Contract: Full time, Permanent. 
• Location: Oxford, UK. Hybrid working is possible (minimum of 3 days in office per week), with certain responsibilities and events requiring an office presence.

Our primary calling is to pioneer and nurture a nationally led student witness in every country of the world. The work of the International Services is to support this frontline ministry.
