At Feba UK, we are passionate about God’s mission, and the creative use of radio and other audio media to inspire people to follow Jesus. We have a particular heart for people in places considered closed or hard-to-reach: where people might not hear the gospel by any other means, or where it’s difficult to be a Christian.
About our development
Since Feba UK was established 65 years ago to help communicate the gospel by shortwave radio, much has changed with big shifts in technology, missiology and geopolitics.
We no longer operate radio infrastructure or ‘send’ missionaries from the UK. Instead, we support local partners with training, expertise, prayer, and funding to produce culturally appropriate programmes in the listener’s ‘heart language’. Radio and other audio technology means they can reach people at scale and follow up in-person as listeners respond.
Today, our model of working with local, indigenous partners has a powerful impact in parts of Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
About the role
We now seek a Head of Communications and Engagement to focus on engaging the Church in the UK, where increasingly fewer churches see world mission as a priority. This role will take the lead on changing this, inspiring the Church through Feba UK’s ministry, reawakening its members to the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ to bring transformation to some of the most disadvantaged and oppressed communities around the world.

You will be a communications and engagement leader with a track record of developing and delivering high impact communication strategies who is adept in using digital and non-digital media. You will come with an empowering, prayerful and servant-hearted leadership style that listens deeply and fosters collaboration, and you will have a passion for mission.

The Head of Alumni Engagement and Development will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy for fostering strong relationships with Ackworth School’s Old Scholar community, supporting the long-term interests of the school as we head towards our 250th anniversary in 2029. This role is responsible for fundraising, donor relations, and legacy initiatives, as well as coordinating and delivering events and communications aimed at engaging with Old Scholars and the broader Ackworth School and Quaker community.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Admissions and Communications, the Head of Alumni Engagement and Development will collaborate closely with various school departments to elevate the school’s profile and optimise income generation. The focus will be on relationship management with key high-value donors and promoting a culture of philanthropy. Additionally, the role will drive support for Ackworth School capital projects and cultivate a culture of donor care that motivates current and potential supporters.
Ackworth School, a co-educational boarding and day school, was founded in 1779 by the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). It maintains its ethos and traditions and is still governed by the Society. The Boaz Trust is a Manchester-based charity that started 20 years ago as an outworking of the founder's Christian faith. Last year we provided trauma-informed and person-centred housing and support for more than 200 people facing homelessness after seeking safety in the UK through our floating support and 17 properties that we manage.
This new role is a key part of our strategy to increase our capacity to provide accommodation for more people in the Greater Manchester area working in partnership with GMCA and a range of local and national stakeholders. About the role
Leading a team of key investigators and working on shared goals with the Fossil Fuels Campaigning Lead, you will deliver impactful and credible investigations which help dismantle the power of the fossil fuel industry.
You will be responsible for building strategic, innovative and focused investigations, followed by strategic storytelling and collaborative advocacy to ensure they create the change we need at this critical time.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead our integrated services and delivery teams, driving quality, innovation and excellence across all areas.
- Accountable for the Association's a portfolio of direct services at both national and regional levels, supervising a team of five senior leaders.
- Accountable for the improvement and enhancement of our current direct information and support provision to ensure they are high-quality, safe, and inclusive.
- Lead on the development and implementation of a forward-looking strategy for information and support services that align with organisational goals and address evolving needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor budgets exceeding £8 million, ensuring financial sustainability and strategic impact.
- Lead the delivery of strategic change initiatives to enhance service quality and effectiveness.
- Establish and monitor data-driven performance metrics to track impact and outcomes.
- Drive innovation in service delivery models, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

You will drive and manage the provision of people management guidance, and support the ongoing development of our people strategy.
The role holder will provide advice and guidance on HR policy direction and governance on people related matters; you will also provide HR support and guidance to staff and managers. The role holder will work with the Chief Executive Officer and Heads of Department to synchronise people related activities across the Belgrade Theatre organisation, including the annual appraisal/performance reviews.
The role holder will be accountable for people related organisational processes and infrastructure, as well as being required to demonstrate exemplary leadership standards and skills, act with integrity and actively contribute to team decision-making in a constructive manner. This role will lead cultural change in the Belgrade Theatre’s vision to embrace diversity and inclusivity.

- CIPD qualification at level 5 (Associate), or similar level of experience
Experience
- Strong knowledge and experience of core HR processes including; recruitment, selection, training and development, performance management as well as contracts, compensation and benefits,
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of all relevant employment legislation and statutory requirements, preferably including BECTU and Equity agreements,
- Strong competence in Microsoft office, including Excel,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Leading HR responsibilities for a 50-100 UK organisation with People and Human Resources related activities,
- Use of a HR Administrative system, preferably Breathe,
