About this job
As Research Administrator, you will:
- provide administrative support for two existing longitudinal studies, from monitoring phone calls and inboxes to handling post, samples, and documents,
- deliver high-quality administrative support to the Research team, from labelling, electronic filing and monitoring stock to storage of materials in our Head office,
- mail out paperwork to study respondents and stakeholders.
Please note, this role is a fixed term contract for six months.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have proven experience working in an administrative role, ideally within research or a similar department. You’ll need excellent organisational skills, with a methodical, detail orientated approach. As this role has a high volume of work, you’ll need the ability to remain calm under pressure, and effectively prioritise competing tasks. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Westway Trust as an Adult Learning Tutor - Digital Skills, starting in January 2025.
Westway Trust is a community-guided organisation located in North Kensington which runs an adult learning programme of accredited and non-accredited provision across a range of subjects. We aim to enable people to progress in work, in learning and in life. Our learners come from a variety of backgrounds and have different prior experiences of learning.
The primary responsibility of the Digital Skills Tutor will be to design and deliver high quality, learner-centred teaching, and learning and assessment experiences to our employed and unemployed adult learners from Entry level to Level 1, while supporting the Adult and Community Learning Manager to achieve the Trust’s strategic objectives.
This is a part-time, term-time only role. The working hours will be discussed and agreed at interview stage.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Teaching
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality teaching and learning sessions, workshops, and tutorials in line with the curriculum requirements and the needs of individual learners, ensuring learning objectives are met

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- This newly funded role will support the development of community network support for all members of the adoptive community in Scotland. Role outline and purpose
This role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of our financial inclusion programmes across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, (428 food banks, running over 1300 centres), building strong partnerships and alliances to achieve our vision of a UK without the need for food banks.

Our exciting new Events and Office Coordinator role will support the delivery of The Royal Countryside Fund's (RCF) busy events programme. Our events drive awareness of the issues facing the countryside through supporting family farms and rural communities, ensuring we reach a diverse audience to raise awareness of the charity and encourage support of the RCF's work
Under the direction of the Interim Head of Communications, and with support of the wider staff team, you will be responsible for coordinating and running all the charity’s events, including full administrative support, booking venues, the invitation process and guest lists, organisation of collateral (including marketing and promotional information), catering arrangements and researching and inviting speakers. You will also be ensuring effective follow-up to each event such as wider dissemination of event content, evaluation, and reporting.
Working on events will account for approximately half of the role. Your remaining time will be spent working across the charity undertaking a variety of administrative tasks. This will include supporting the team with mailings, coordination of specific activities and some general office management. Could you be our next Kids Club Leader? We love children at Christ Church London and we are looking for a fun and dynamic Kids Ministry Leader to work at our growing Stockwell service. As the Kids Ministry Leader you will play a crucial role in guiding and nurturing the spiritual growth of children and their families within the Stockwell community. Having recently secured a strategic partnership with Sport England, this role will play a pivotal role in activating the research activities that are required to inform the Leadership Skills Foundation and the wider sector to empower a more diverse range of young people with opportunities to develop essential leadership and life skills, regardless of their background.
You will be a valued manager within the ‘Programme Delivery’ team and will work with other departments across the organization to support the development of future accessible and inclusive essential leadership programmes. Role duties and responsibilities
- Manage research and impact projects and activities, internally and externally, in support of our programme delivery strategic goals.
- Develop and manage research proposals and methodologies to address strategic goals.
- Manage both primary and secondary research using a range of methodologies.
- Interpret and analyse research to derive meaningful insights and provide actionable recommendations.
- Present research findings, into clear, actionable recommendations, and compelling presentations that facilitate informed decision making across all levels of the organisation.
- Identify and recommend new research and evaluation projects and approaches which address gaps in our current evidence base.
- Engage with the Leadership team and Head of Programme Delivery to understand the organisation’s research requirements and align with organisational goals.

Required/essential:
- Educated to degree level in a subject with substantial statistical or research content.
- Proven experience of working in a relevant research role.
- Experience of leading/managing a range of different research projects, using a range of both primary and secondary research methodologies to gather both qualitative and quantitative research.
- Experience in designing and leading high quality research proposals and tenders.
- Demonstratable experience and evidence of aligning research projects and activities with strategic goals and informing organisational decision making.
- Experience of formulating research reports and making recommendations in a range of easy to read and innovative formats.
- Proven track record of building and nurturing highly effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior colleagues and external funders or partners.

Main Purpose of the role:
1. Manage the planning, recruitment and delivery of our Ealing Young Champions Youth Voice project
